My approach is a therapist who works collaboratively with clients to create a space that feels safe, respectful and grounded in authenticity. It is important that my clients feel emotionally safe, seen and empowered. I intend to create an environment where they can feel comfortable to navigate the challenging and difficult experiences they have endured throughout their life. My focus is on supporting clients as they learn to understand and manage their emotions, express their thoughts and feelings effectively, and explore how childhood experiences shape who we are today.
You know we all deal with our issues and sometimes we cannot do it alone. It is hard to talk to a stranger but give it a try. You won't be judged but welcomed and listened to. I am here to work together with you.

My name is Laurissa Miller, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Ventura County, California. I have over 13 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families with a strong background in trauma, PTSD, and foster care. I have also worked extensively with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, and I strive to meet clients where they are while working together towards meaningful, achievable goals. I look forward to supporting you on your therapeutic journey.
First and foremost, I am a father of two. I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology and have worked in government setting as a supervisor to many social workers over the past 28 years. I have been licensed as a therapist in California since 2004 and have worked with 100s of individuals, couples and teens since then. I have had over 200 hours of post PHD training in the areas of anxiety, depression, child abuse and neglect, bipolar disorder, couples counseling, divorce, child custody and phobia.
With more than 12 years of experience in the field, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients in many different settings as they process challenges, explore new perspectives, and build meaningful tools for growth. My style blends evidence‑based methods with a grounded, human approach—and a sense of humor when it’s helpful. I meet clients where they are and work collaboratively toward their goals. I hold a master’s in Psychology from JFK University and a bachelor’s degree from Holy Names University. I have worked across diverse roles in the mental health field, helping clients unpack their experiences, process life’s challenges, and develop skills that support long‑term growth. I use a range of therapeutic methods, incorporate humor when appropriate, and tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs.
I utilize a positive theoretical orientation which assumes that all individuals possess an innate desire for well-balanced emotional/mental health. I believe a person enters therapy with a strong wish, whether conscious or unconscious, to overcome obstacles and free themselves from constraints that are holding them back. I find that everyone needs a slightly different approach to accomplish these goals, so I adjust in technique for each specific challenge. I truly enjoy the experience of guiding my clients through this process and consider it a privilege to play such an important role in a person's life.
“Crying does not indicate that you are weak. Since birth, it has always been a sign that you are alive.”
― Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre

Do you feel like your 'fight-or-flight' response is stuck on high? I specialize in helping clients understand the unique wiring of ADHD, depressed, and anxious brains. By exploring the science of why you feel so restless, unmotivated, or overwhelmed, we can separate your worth from your symptoms. My goal is to help you stop fighting your brain and start working with it, using evidence-based techniques that actually click for your unique mind.
Therapy shouldn't be another place where you have to perform. I provide a warm, non-judgmental space for adults with ADHD and anxiety to unmask and find balance. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths to help you navigate a world that wasn't exactly built for minds like yours.
If you're tired of feeling like your brain is a browser with 50 tabs open, you’re in the right place. I help individuals with ADHD, PTSD, depression and anxiety and more move from 'overwhelmed' to 'organized' by building practical toolkits for time management and focus. We won't just talk about your challenges, we'll actively troubleshoot the obstacles keeping you stuck so you can feel more in control of your day-to-day life.

Hi there, I’m Michelle,
Have you not felt like yourself lately? Are you struggling to find that happy, healthy, hopeful place in life? Whether it be from relationships, personal, or just life, sometimes we can just feel overwhelmed and out of sync with who we were or who we would like to become.
I am here to help facilitate that change. Together we can target the obstacles in your life and make a plan of action to put you on the right path. By using an integrative approach with effective therapeutic modalities we focus on the whole being to get you in balance.
My style is eclectic utilizing an empathetic position to build rapport while empowering you to become the stronger happier version of self. I combine affirmations and metaphoric narrative to separate you from the problem, allowing you to externalize the issues rather than internalize them.
I will meet you right where you are and provide a safe place for you to thrive and move forward.
“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” ~Martin Luther King Jr.

I provide teaching and training both nationally and internationally.
PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM A CHILD THERAPIST AND DO NOT TREAT ADULTS
I help adults who look like they’re holding it together on the outside, but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in the same relationship patterns on the inside. We’ll work on stress management, emotional regulation, communication, and the deeper “why” behind your reactions—so you feel more grounded, confident, and consistent in daily life.
My style is warm, structured, and down-to-earth. You don’t need perfect words—just a willingness to show up. I use CBT/DBT/ACT tools for practical change, and I can integrate deeper work (Brainspotting/IFS) when it’s a good fit.
I also create a dedicated space for men—especially men of color—who want to explore masculinity, culture, identity, and relationships without judgment.
Hello! My name is Tiphanie. I am an EMDR trained LCSW who is bicultural and bilingual in English and French. If you are looking for a supportive space to navigate feelings of depression, anxiety or overwhelm, a space to self-reflect, or address cycles of self-sabotage, let’s meet.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with five years of experience providing individual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. I am deeply committed to helping clients heal emotionally, build resilience, and reconnect with their sense of worth and purpose. My passion for this work is rooted in lived experience. Moving to Nigeria at the age of six, losing my father at twelve, and later experiencing the loss of my newborn taught me firsthand about grief, strength, and the importance of compassionate support. These experiences shaped both who I am and how I show up as a therapist—with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep respect for each client’s journey. I believe healing happens when people feel safe, understood, and empowered. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients move from feeling overwhelmed or stuck toward clarity, emotional balance, and meaningful personal growth.

In addition to my clinical experience, I have a strong background in case management and helping clients connect with supportive resources that can improve their overall quality of life. My approach to therapy is practical, supportive, and personalized to each client’s unique needs. I strive to create a safe and collaborative space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered as they work toward meaningful change and personal growth.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I take a client-centered approach to treatment, ensuring that each session is tailored to the unique needs and goals of my clients. In my sessions, I would like to hear from you. Think of me as an observer in your art gallery, not as a critic, but as someone who appreciates your vision and the story you tell. You are the artist, and as such, you will explain to me your pieces, your vision, and your creations. I will take these all in and reflect back to you your work, and if appropriate, draw parallels from your earlier creations.
Hi. I'm Jasmine, I'm a LMFT. I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2008. My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
Hi, and welcome. I’m a licensed psychologist who is passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, self-understanding, and resilience. I believe that therapy works best when you feel truly seen, heard, and supported, so I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Communications and Master’s of Science in Marriage Family Child Therapy from California State University, Fresno. I am also a semester from graduating with my second Master’s of Science degree in Psychology. Throughout college, I was able to represent Fresno State University as a member of the collegiate rodeo team. This was extremely special to me, as the Central Valley has been my home since the day I was born.
I grew up in a small town called Lemoore, California on my family’s 100-acre cattle ranch, which was home to my family, my cousins, uncles, aunts, and grandmother and grandfather. I have been with my college sweetheart for six years now and have been married for a little over a year. With this said, I can relate to the complexity of family dynamics and interpersonal relationships, as well as the effect that they can have on our lives.
My passion lies in supporting individuals because I believe that each individual has their own integral part of the human experience. Each individual is unique, bringing their own set of morals, beliefs, triggers, traumas, and more. In my role as a therapist, my objective is to assist every individual in crafting the best possible life path for themselves.

Please note: I don’t specialize in eating disorders, trauma, autism or substance use. Telehealth is not an adequate platform for working with suicidality. If you are suicidal, you can call 911 for the police, 988 for the national suicide hotline, or go to the nearest hospital.

By employing a client-centered approach, I work to foster a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences. I employ evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused therapy to promote personal insight, resilience, and coping skills for positive change.
Hi! My name is Alexis Kuney and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Southern California. Therapy and meeting a new therapist for the first time can be a little scary, but you've taken the first step, which is great! I am a licensed therapist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and performance-related challenges. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel understood and empowered to work through internal barriers, strengthen emotional resilience, and build lasting well-being. As a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard, a competitive surfer, and a father to two incredible daughters, my life experiences have deeply shaped my perspective and clinical approach. The discipline, adaptability, and presence I developed through military service and years in the water inform my work, particularly with veterans, athletes, and high-performing individuals facing pressure or transition. Whether you are seeking support during a difficult season or striving for personal growth, I bring authenticity, steadiness, and a genuine commitment to helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Hello and welcome to my page! While I'd like to say that I'm here to solve all of your problems, I am not. My role as a therapist is to provide a safe space for you to express your thoughts/feelings, gain insight and bravery so you can create the life you deserve by mitigating the intrusive thoughts and feeling of overwhelmness.
Hello! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I received my master's in 2014 and have been practicing for 11 years. I help adults manage their stressors in life and help them reduce their symptoms to be successful in their own life. I have experience working with children from 4 years old to older adults of the age of 80 years old.
Welcome! I'm so glad you are here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience in the field. I initially worked in medical settings which gave me extensive experience in helping people cope with chronic illness. Helping people learn to navigate life despite additional challenges was incredibly rewarding and inspiring.
But I wanted to keep growing. So a few years ago, I went into private practice. Although my license was adequate to enter into private practice, I wanted to be as skilled a therapist as possible. Therefore, I entered a TEAM CBT training program which gave me extra training specifically in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My Level-3 certification in this form of therapy means I have extra tools and techniques to assist clients in quickly overcoming feelings of depression and anxiety. These tools are evidence-based and extremely successful at helping people actually feel better. I want clients to be able to feel better quickly and not need to be in therapy indefinitely.
I believe that the process of therapy helps all of us clarify the lives we want and identify the obstacles in our way. Assisting clients through this process is the most gratifying work I could imagine.
Hello! My name is Lizette Orozco. I am a daughter of immigrants who values giving back to her community. I have been a Social Worker for 10+, and specifically a therapist for the last 7 years. I enjoy walking alongside people as they discover more about themselves and their mental health.
My approach centers on deep listening, empathy, and honoring each client’s lived experience. I intentionally consider cultural, environmental, and systemic influences, ensuring therapy is respectful, collaborative, and client-led. I believe in creating a comfortable space that supports growth while affirming each person’s identity and self-determination. I am especially enthusiastic about returning to a practice setting focused on working with adults, where I can support clients in exploring identity, healing, and growth.

I specialize in supporting teens and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, self-harm behaviors, and trauma/PTSD.
I have extensive experience helping adolescents navigate academic stress, social anxiety, identity development, emotional regulation, and the impact of difficult life experiences. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood and empowered. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and foster meaningful healing and personal growth so clients can move toward becoming the best versions of themselves.
