Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist practicing in California. I earned my master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University – Los Angeles. I received my license in 2020, and work with adults, adolescents and seniors. At present, I meet clients in-person or virtually for couples and individual therapy. Often people seek therapy when they are going through a rough patch. We can work together to navigate, and attempt to improve the situation by applying coping strategies, reviewing options., and other techniques.
During the first session, I will conduct an initial assessment. With this first meeting, I will ask you several questions to identify your needs and set goals. As we progress, I will likely not continue to make so many inquiries, and you will then have the space to express your thoughts and feelings.
As a provider, I believe my strength is that I like to instill a sense of confidence in the client. Often, we will focus on setting boundaries in relationships, communicating effectively, and building social skills.
The clients I like to work with are motivated to improve their life circumstances. The ideal candidate is curious and committed to make a positive change in their life. They are aware that circumstances may not miraculously improve with therapy, but they are willing to put in the time and effort to change the situation by identifying and breaking down old patterns and behaviors.
