New to Grow
My name is Brianna I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 4 years experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and overwhelming stress. I work with clients who may feel stuck, burnt out, or unsure how to move forward. I create a safe and compassionate space where clients feel heard and understood. Using a collaborative client-centered approach, I help individuals build effective coping skills, gain clarity, and reconnect with their strengths. My goal is to empower clients to navigate challenges with confidence, improve their emotional well-being, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The initial session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building rapport. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I'll also review important information such as confidentiality and answer any questions you may have. This session is guided at your pace, with a focus on helping you feel heard, understood, and supported as we being your therapeutic journey.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
As a therapist I am able to blend strong clinical experience with a deeply compassionate, real-world approach. With over a decade in social work; including medical settings, caregiver support, and suicide prevention I understand the complexity of what clients are facing, not just emotionally but practically. I create a space that feels both safe and grounded, where clients feel genuinely seen without judgment. My approach is collaborative and empowering. I don’t just listen, I help clients build insight, confidence, and actionable tools they can use in their daily lives. By integrating person-centered care, motivational interviewing, and supportive therapy, I meet clients exactly where they are while gently guiding them toward meaningful change. Clients walk away not only feeling understood, but also more capable, resilient, and in control of their lives.
Motivational Interviewing
As a therapist I use motivational interviewing as a collaborative, client-centered approach to support individuals in exploring and resolving ambivalence around change. Rather than directing or advising, I focus on creating a nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Through open ended questions, reflective listening, and affirmations I help clients identify their own values, strengths, and motivation for change. I support clients in building confidence and moving toward meaningful goals at their own pace.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use a Person-Centered approach to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and understood. I believe each individual has the capacity for growth and healing, and I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, authenticity, and positive regard. By meeting clients where they are and honoring their unique experiences, I support them in gaining insight, building self-trust, and moving toward meaningful, self-directed change.
Supportive
I utilize supportive treatment approach to help client's navigate life's challenges with greater stability and confidence. Through empathy, validation, and encouragement, I provide a safe space for individuals to process current stressors and feel understood. I focus on strengthening coping skills, reinforcing personal strengths, and helping clients manage overwhelming emotions, while supporting them in building resilience and maintaining daily functioning.
