New to Grow
My approach to therapy is rooted in being person-centered, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, empathy, and respect. I strive to create a welcoming and open space where you can show up exactly as you are — without fear of criticism or shame. I meet clients where they are, honoring their pace, experiences, and readiness for change. Whether you’re navigating trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, anxiety, or other concerns, my goal is to provide steady support, practical tools, and a safe environment to help you move toward healing and growth.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and creating a space where you feel comfortable and supported. We’ll go over confidentiality, talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, and explore your goals at a pace that feels right for you. I may ask some questions about your background to better understand your experiences, but there’s no pressure to share anything you’re not ready for. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, safe, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together moving forward.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the balance between compassion and practical support. I strive to create a space that feels genuinely safe and nonjudgmental, while also helping clients build real, usable skills they can apply in their daily lives. I integrate trauma-informed and person-centered approaches, allowing me to meet clients where they are while gently guiding them toward growth. My goal is not just insight, but meaningful, lasting change—helping clients feel more in control, confident, and connected to themselves.
My ideal client is someone who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or impacted by past experiences, but is open to exploring themselves and creating meaningful change. They don’t have to have everything figured out—just a willingness to show up, be honest, and engage in the process. I work best with individuals who are ready to build insight, develop healthier coping skills, and strengthen their sense of self, while moving toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Trauma Informed Care
As a trauma-focused therapist, I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. I work collaboratively with individuals to process past experiences at their own pace, using evidence-based approaches like TF-CBT, and grounding techniques to reduce distress and build resilience. I value trust, authenticity, and empowerment, and I strive to help clients make sense of their experiences while developing healthy coping skills and regaining a sense of control in their lives.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
As a person-centered therapist, I focus on creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely accepted and heard. I believe that each individual is the expert of their own life, and I work to support their growth by fostering self-awareness, confidence, and authenticity. Through empathy, active listening, and unconditional positive regard, I help clients explore their experiences, build insight, and move toward the changes that feel most meaningful to them.
