Accepting new patients of all ages! As your healthcare provider, I know that one cannot simply separate the mind from the body and the best care uses a holistic approach. I am board-certified as a psychiatry nurse practitioner which gives me the unique ability to integrate all areas of your health into treatment planning. I provide mental health services that look at all aspects of care including physical health concerns, environmental factors, and other barriers to care. I aim to build therapeutic relationships with my clients and their families that focus on both immediate and long-term goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where their needs and concerns are prioritized. Here's what typically happens: Introduction: The session begins with introductions between the client and myself, establishing rapport and building trust. Discussion of Goals: I will ask the client about their reasons for seeking medication management and what they hope to achieve. This helps to clarify goals and set the direction for treatments/regimens. Assessment: I conduct an initial assessment to gather information about the client's history, current situation, and any symptoms they may be experiencing. This helps to tailor the treatment approach to the client's specific needs. Open Dialogue: You'll have the opportunity to share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences related to medication management. We encourage open and honest communication throughout the session. Collaboration: Medication management is a collaborative process. Together, we'll work to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals and preferences. Education and Empowerment: I will provide education about your medications, including how they work, potential side effects, and strategies for managing them. We want you to feel empowered and informed about your treatment. Next Steps: Finally, we'll discuss the next steps and schedule follow-up appointments as needed. Our goal is to support you on your journey to improved well-being.
