New to Grow
I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist. I have lived in Hawaii for many years which is where my career in Psychology all began. Taking the first step to seek support can feel intimidating. I am committed to maintaining strict confidentiality and providing a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can freely explore your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and experiences. I believe you possess valuable strengths and resources that can help you navigate and overcome your challenges.
In your first session, we will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and explore your goals for treatment. I will ask questions to better understand your background, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve. This session is an opportunity for you to share as much as you feel comfortable, and for us to begin building a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment. Together, we will outline an initial plan for moving forward and address any questions you may have about the therapy process.
I emphasize creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment that encourages open exploration of thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Clients often report increased self-awareness, practical coping skills, improved communication, and meaningful progress toward their goals as a result of our work together.
I am best positioned to serve clients who are motivated to engage in collaborative, goal-oriented therapy and are seeking evidence-based approaches to address relational, emotional, or behavioral concerns. My practice is well-suited for individuals, couples, and families experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict, communication difficulties, life transitions, or stress management. I tailor interventions to meet the unique needs and aspirations of each client.
