I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 15 years working in the Hawaii community. I am also a Board Certified Diplomate of Clinical Social Work (BCD). I have focused my clinical practice on the treatment of anxiety, depression and transitional stress. I have worked in the community after receiving my MSW in 2001. I've spent my career working with youth and adults in the Hawaii community.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

For the first session, I like to spend some time getting to know you and what has worked for you as far as coping skills and where you would like to improve. We will spend some time getting to know each other. We also look at what your expectations are for therapy and discuss treatment options and modalities.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked in the community of Hawaii for my entire career. I think one of my strengths is that I have a connection to the people of Hawaii and work well with all ages.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with young professionals who are in the first few years of their careers. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their careers. I also love working with individuals who are determined to seek improvement with how they communicate with their partners and peers.
