Frequently rebooked
I am a LCSW with over 7 years of experience working as a therapist & life coach. My clients have consisted of those dealing with stress/anxiety, depression, work stress/burnout, interpersonal relationship conflicts, couples, and those dealing with life transitions. I work with clients 18 and older. I also work with several college age adults dealing with the integration into adult life, campus living/being away from home, and understanding who they are as they transition into adulthood. I have worked with many couples (pre and post marital) in developing better communication skills, better conflict resolution skills, and understanding how to relearn their partner.
I believe in treating all with respect, sensitivity, compassion, & direct honesty. Our dialog will be geared towards your needs & growth. Our interactions are personable so you can feel as comfortable as possible with no feelings of being pushed or judgement.
My strengths as a therapist and life coach are I am honest, direct, do not judge, and personable. Additionally, I have life experience as a single mother, as a minority, and as a human which makes me relatable.
I enjoy working with ages 18 to 25 in common areas like identity formation, transitioning into adulthood, career/education stress, relationship issues, mental health concerns (anxiety, depression, etc.), substance use, and self-esteem struggles. I also enjoy working with ages 26-35 in areas such as career pressure, work-life balance, relationship/marriage concerns, financial stress, fertility/parenthood struggles, mental health conditions (anxiety, depression, stress), and identity exploration. With ages 36-45, I enjoy working in areas of midlife crisis, career shifts, parenting challenges, marital issues, mental health concerns (depression, anxiety, etc.), divorce, grief and loss, and caregiving responsibilities.
I have worked with clients in a range of concerns including depression/anxiety/relationship issues/stress/life transitions. My therapy style is open, interactive, engaging, & honest. I believe in treating all with respect, sensitivity, compassion, & direct honesty. My approach is an eclectic one which combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-based therapy, mindfulness, supportive therapy& motivational interviewing.
