I am a LCSW with over 8 years of experience working as a therapist & life coach. My clients have consisted of those dealing with stress/anxiety, depression, work stress/burnout, interpersonal relationship conflicts, and those dealing with life transitions. I work with clients 18 and older. I also work with several college age adults dealing with the integration into adult life, campus living/being away from home, and understanding who they are as they transition into adulthood.

From the first session, I felt comfortable, heard, and genuinely supported. I appreciate and feel thankful for the honest, direct feedback that helps me grow while still feeling safe and respected. The balance of kindness, humor, and authenticity makes it easy to open up. The conversations feel real and often give me a new perspective. I never feel rushed or dismissed and always leave feeling understood, encouraged, and grateful for the support.

I left this session feeling emotionally unsafe and dismissed. During a vulnerable moment when I asked for clarification about something the Asja said, she looked at my husband and smiled instead of responding professionally. Whether intentional or not, it felt mocking and humiliating. I expected a neutral and supportive environment where both people felt heard and respected, but I left feeling invalidated and uncomfortable expressing my feelings openly.

I love that she doesn't mess around with feedback. I have things I need to hear that are more constructive than just what people want to hear. She will always be honest.
