I am an advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, a passionate partner in your healing process. As a clinician, I believe strongly in meeting you where you are. Even if it is a place you have never opened the doors for another. I gained my education at New York University and have experience working in many major diverse communities across the United States. This practice experience and armed me with the humility to connect with all cultures, intersections, and identities.
I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado, Texas, Nevada, Iowa, and Hawaii and Washington.
I view therapy as a partnership focused on healing, self-discovery, and empowerment. I work with a wide range of adults seeking relief from anxiety, depression, trauma, or stress-related concerns, and I tailor my approach to each person’s unique story. My goal is to help you strengthen your sense of self, improve relationships, and develop practical tools to live with greater peace and authenticity.
I'm a Certified EMDR therapist and PMH-C clinician providing specialized trauma therapy in Arizona, Colorado, and Washington for first responders and individuals navigating perinatal mental health challenges, PTSD, and chronic stress. Many of my clients appear fine on the outside — capable, put-together, managing it all — while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally stuck underneath.
My practice focuses on treating PTSD, birth trauma, postpartum depression and anxiety, religious trauma, and occupational stress using EMDR therapy and evidence-based, trauma-informed care. I understand how trauma and nervous system dysregulation can leave you feeling constantly on edge, emotionally reactive, or disconnected from yourself — whether that shows up through the demands of first responder work, the transition into parenthood, or experiences further back.
Through EMDR therapy, I help clients reduce triggers, process unresolved trauma, regulate their nervous system, and experience deep, lasting healing — so you can feel stable, confident, and like yourself again.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience, currently seeing clients in the states of Arizona and Washington. I hold a Master's in Counseling and a Certificate in Domestic Violence Advocacy from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.
I self-identify as neurodivergent (AuDHD) and am a committed BIPOC ally. That means I bring both clinical expertise and real lived experience to the work — I understand from the inside what it means to navigate a world that wasn't built with you in mind.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in real-life experience. I specialize in working with adults navigating ADHD, Autism, and the full complexity of being neurodivergent. I also support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, addiction, and major life transitions. Earlier in my career I worked in severe mental illness, clinical psychiatry, social work with homeless populations, and domestic violence advocacy — giving me a wide and deep foundation to draw from.
I use evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, and ACT, always through a trauma-informed and strength-based lens. I honor the ways that culture, race, and lived experience shape mental health, and I strive to create a space where your identity is respected and your voice is heard.
I have over 10 years of experience as a mental health therapist. I primarily work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and family or relationship difficulties. Many clients seek treatment because they feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or unsure how to manage the challenges they’re facing.
My approach is structured and evidence‑based. I focus on helping you understand the factors contributing to your symptoms and developing clear, practical strategies for change. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness‑based interventions to support emotional regulation, improve coping skills, and build healthier behavioral patterns.
Accountability is an important part of the work we do together. I will support you, but I will also provide direct feedback and encourage consistent follow‑through on the changes you identify as important. Progress requires active participation, and I work best with clients who are ready to take responsibility for implementing new skills and strategies between sessions.
My Style is:
Straightforward – Honest and clear, but always respectful.
Practical – Tools that work in everyday life, not just theory.
Explorative – Space to reflect deeply in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
Encouraging – Support that helps you feel capable, validated, and motivated to change.
Accountability-focused – Growth comes from owning your choices and committing to real change.
This works well if you are willing to:
• Look at your own patterns and find areas for growth and change
• Practice new skills between our sessions and create a plan for change
• Stay open to feedback, exploration, and trying approaches that fit your unique needs

Are you a woman facing big decisions? Navigating relationship challenges, family dynamics, parenting difficulties, career pivots? My background shapes how I approach therapy with clients facing such women's issues, which includes years as a licensed mental health counselor, but also as serving in senior leadership within higher education, supporting clients as a transformational coach, and balancing parenting along the way. This mix (and juggling act) gives me a practical understanding of how emotional wellbeing is often shaped by work, caregiving, relationships, and major life responsibilities.
Many of the woman I work with are thoughtful, capable, and carrying more than others realize. They often appear highly functional on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, depleted, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves. Born and raised in the inner city by a single mother and a large extended family, I noticed the needs of those that were mentally or physically diagnosed were often not met. Therefore, I began to inquire about what I needed to do in order to be a part of the solution. I began to work in the field and I have worked in Behavioral/Mental Health for close to 20 years. My experience covers a plethora of ages and diagnosis across many settings. My determination to treat and support those with mental health diagnosis during the pandemic inspired me to perform outpatient therapy via telehealth to adults and adolescents. I specialize in adults 25-55 with various diagnoses but primarily Anxiety, PTSD, trauma and Depression to name a few. I love to utilize CBT, CPT, trauma informed care (TIC) and Motivational Interviewing as treatment modalities.

There is a way out. Those who come to see me are often at a crossroads, frustrated at how they are trying to deal with problems and seeking workable strategies and solutions to cope. Therapy is meant to be a space to feel welcome to talk about thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are problematic. Understanding unhealthy behaviors, frustrations with life, and/or unsuccessful efforts to cope can help reveal the obstacles that may block your path to growth and desired outcomes.
I have over 15 years experience providing therapy and case management including in the areas of: Couples counseling; Anxiety issues; Medical and chronic pain issues; Phobias; Eating disorders and body image challenges; Post-residential and outpatient maintenance therapy for continued abstinence and sobriety from substance use and eating disorders; Fertility and conception issues; LGBTQ and gender concerns; and Couples counseling (without legal involvement).

Hi, my name is Melissa.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in FL, GA, TN, TX, WA, UT and IN specializing in helping individuals navigate anxiety, stress, depression, grief/loss and life transitions. I provide individual therapy sessions online. I take a holistic approach to therapy using traditional psychotherapy techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
In 2001 I completed a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work (MSW) from Florida State University. I received my Florida license in Social Work (LCSW) in 2004 and have since added additional licenses in Tennessee and Georgia. I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, Hospice programs, schools and as an independent contractor providing tele-mental health counseling services to individuals who are experiencing varying levels of challenges due to chronic medical conditions, life situations and/or mental health concerns.
I enjoy helping people work through the challenges of today's world as we take the journey together to get you to where you want to be in your life.
I’m passionate about supporting adults navigating life with anxiety, depression, chronic illness, disability, complex family dynamics, grief, and life transitions. I also work a lot with clients who are neurodivergent or part of the LGBTQ+ community. I know how important it is to feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I combine personal life experiences with evidence based strategies to help you achieve your treatment goals.
When life shifts, your body often feels it first. You might experience a "heavy" fatigue, or a nervous system that feels permanently stuck in "fight or flight." It can be difficult to find the best tools to manage life's challenges, but learning how to regulate your mind and body can significantly improve your quality of life.
I'm Meghan, a Counselor specializing in Somatic-Informed Therapy. I believe that true resilience isn't just "mind over matter"—it's learning to listen to what your body is telling you.
My approach combines traditional clinical insight with somatic (body-based) tools and mind-body techniques. We won't just analyze your stress; we will work to discharge it from your nervous system. Whether you are navigating something new or seeking new coping tools, I provide a grounded space to help you reconnect with yourself.
In my many years of experience, I have treated a broad range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, panic disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. I frequently utilize cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and mindfulness-which is particularly helpful for anxiety-based issues. I will use one or more of the treatment modalities to give you the best outcome in therapy.
Psychotherapy provides a safe place to discuss fears, thoughts, and difficult decisions we as humans must make during our journey in life. I believe we are capable of making life changes with the right tools. I am here to listen without judgement. I believe we all have a story to share. Being heard is one of the most important aspects of communication.
My passion is working with clients who have experienced some form of trauma in their lives. By sharing your story, we can begin to process the trauma from experience to a new understanding, while remaining in the present.
I'm Mary, and I'm excited to possibly support you in your journey! I have been described by people who've worked with me as disarming and easy to get along with. I am comfortable working with a diverse range of issues, but I specialize in grief/loss, trauma, in particular the treatment of PTSD and anxiety disorders utilizing CBT and somatic therapies such as EMDR and breathwork. My professional experience includes over 15 years of advocacy, crisis, and mental health care with a wide range of populations.

We all experience speed bumps during our life journey. Though it may seem we are "lost, “I believe the powers we are looking for are inside us.
One simply needs to be heard, feel welcome in a safe place, validated and guidance toward strengthening the emotional "muscles" that have grown weak.
Just as we exercise our bodies, we must exercise our Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual parts.
I truly believe we cannot experience long-term health unless we pay close attention to our Mind, Body and Spirit--the whole-self.
When we honor our truths, we will achieve our authentic self!
I look forward to walking with you on this indescribable journey to transformation.
May I offer a friendly reminder beautiful; NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF YOU
I help clients navigate emotional struggles and transform their lives with compassionate, evidence-based therapy. I take a client centered approach to therapy, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns. I am straightforward, compassionate, and understanding. I will always be truthful and upfront, with the goal of creating a supportive, safe, non-judgmental environment.
Hello! I am a licensed social worker (LICSW) who has been working in the medical setting for 9 years, helping patients and their families navigate chronic medical conditions. Because of my role at the hospital, I am also a Certified Clinical Transplant Social Worker (CCTSW), meaning I have expertise in organ transplant.
I have realized over my time in the hospital setting that the moments that bring me the most fulfillment are the ones where I am engaged 1:1 and providing individuals with support, therapeutic intervention, encouragement, and coaching. I decided to open a therapy practice to allow me to provide this support outside the hospital. To this end, I completed a year-long therapist training program in Expressive Arts Therapy at Seattle's Northwest Creative & Expressive Arts Institute. I am working towards becoming a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT).
Outside of work, I love being outdoors with my family, going on adventures with my nieces, thrift-store wandering, having soul-enriching conversations with friends, and finding opportunities to dance.
I have over 20 years of experience working with teens and adults (in schools and in the community), supporting people through a variety of issues, including: stress and anxiety, relationship challenges, low motivation, self-esteem concerns, trauma and abuse, and big life transitions. I'll provide a safe space for you to be yourself, and we’ll move at a pace that feels manageable for you.
I believe everyone has a story worth understanding. With 10 years of experience as a social worker, I help adults navigate anxiety, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and life transitions by building on their strengths, exploring what matters most, and creating meaningful change together.
I enjoy working with people who appear to have it together on the outside but feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about where they're headed next. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and create a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
I provide a trauma informed practice using cognitive behavioral therapy. I am excellent at building on my patient's strengths. I am non-judgmental and I have a strong belief that everyone has worth. My job is to help you grow at your own pace. I have worked with a wide variety of people and have enjoyed learning from my patients. I am optimistic about your ability to grow.
My name is Dr. Christine Gomes. I am a licensed clinical psychologist and I specialize in trauma treatment. I believe that we are healthiest when we turn toward ourselves with love and compassion and accept ourselves for who we truly are. I have special interests in relational and religious trauma, as well as working with people with addiction issues, severe depression, anxiety disorders, and suicidal thoughts and actions. No matter where you are in your healing journey, I hope to join you and help you see that you are not alone in the struggle. You are your greatest healer, and I will be your guide along the way.
Hello! I'm John, a compassionate and grounded therapist. I especially love working with parents in all stages of life. Parenting is a challenging job - nobody can trigger us quite like our kids! As a parent myself, I know how hard it can be to stay grounded and provide loving, consistent boundaries when our kids (babies/tots/teens/adults) are pushing our buttons. My approach will be tailored to your needs; I use somatic tools to help your body learn what calm and safety feel like, cognitive tools to help change the way you think/see/approach situations, and recognize patterns you learned when you were very young so that you can start to identify and interrupt those patterns as they happen so you can notice your reaction and choose how to respond differently. I'm also EMDR-trained and have found it to be yet another helpful tool that allows our brains to heal so we're less reactive and better able to be the parents we desire to be.
I see change as a marathon, not a sprint. We'll first focus on immediate symptom reduction. Once you're not constantly blowing up/shutting down, we can move toward deeper, lasting change. It took x number of years for you to get where you are; you won't change established patterns overnight. We'll work on helping you find compassion for yourself in this process. You're human; you won't be perfect. Real change starts to happen when you make the same old mistake, remember that you're on a healing journey, extend yourself some grace, do the necessary repair work, and try again.

I specialize in working with people struggling with OCD by utilizing the Exposure Response Prevention modality. My practice can deal with a lot of taboo topics so I try to approach most sessions with kindness, warmth, understanding, and HUMOR. :) I believe that we all go through struggles in our life and could use a little help. I'm here when you're ready...
