Hi, I'm Amber. I believe many of us spend years trying to find where we belong. Along the way, we learn how to adapt. We become who others need us to be, who our families expect us to be, who our workplaces reward us for being, who our relationships require us to be, or who feels easiest to love, understand, accept, or choose. Sometimes we become the peacekeeper. Sometimes the achiever. Sometimes the caretaker. Sometimes the one who stays quiet. Sometimes the one who becomes whatever is needed to maintain connection, acceptance, or belonging. Over time, it can become difficult to tell which parts of us feel genuinely ours and which parts developed in response to fear, loneliness, rejection, expectations, workplace demands, relationships, or the longing to be seen, understood, valued, accepted, and chosen. If you've found yourself asking questions like, "Why do I always feel different?", "Why do I feel like I don't quite fit?", "Why am I never chosen?", "Who am I beneath everyone else's expectations?", or "What parts of me no longer feel like mine?", you're not alone. I work best with adults navigating life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, identity shifts, or seasons of feeling disconnected from themselves. My work focuses on helping people explore these questions with curiosity and compassion, reconnect with the vibrant, authentic, parts of themselves that may have been buried beneath years of adaptation, and cultivate a stronger sense of belonging to themselves. I don't believe my role is to tell you who you are. I believe the most meaningful answers are rarely given to us. They are uncovered. My role is to help you slow down, become curious about your story, listen more closely to your voice, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been there all along.

I’m Jericho Avery, a licensed clinical social worker and owner of Keys to Mending Therapy & Wellness. I work with people who feel stuck in anxiety, trauma, shame, relationship pain, codependency, or patterns they cannot seem to break. My style is calm, direct, and compassionate. I believe therapy should give you a place to be understood, but also a place to learn, practice, and change. I use CBT, DBT, EMDR, Adlerian therapy, and compassion-focused therapy to help clients understand where their patterns came from and how to respond differently now. I value honesty, personal growth, self-awareness, and practical skill building. I also know that healing is not just about insight; it is about courage, repetition, support, and learning to make different choices when life feels hard. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, set healthier boundaries, regulate emotions, heal old wounds, and build relationships that feel safer and more connected. Therapy with me is active, collaborative, and focused on helping you move toward a more stable and meaningful life, one step at a time.

Hello, and congratulations on taking this step. Reaching out takes awareness, courage, and a real commitment to change — it requires to invite someone into your struggles. I've spent over 25 years working in behavioral health as a clinician, clinical supervisor, and clinical director. My career has taken me from a faith-based agency in New England to a community behavioral health center in northeastern Arizona, where I eventually led clinical services for 12 years, to providing counseling at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base — an experience that deepened my respect for military members and their families. I now own a private practice in Sahuarita, Arizona. My work focuses on helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. I also welcome working with military veterans, people of faith, and individuals and families facing serious illness. In the spring of 2025, I was diagnosed with cancer. I have since completed treatment and am now cancer free — and that experience gave me a much deeper appreciation for what it means to face something that reshapes your world. I don't see therapy as simply treating a diagnosis. I see it as working with you as a whole person — your strengths, fears, hopes, values, pain, and goals. I'll listen carefully, but I'll also be active: helping you identify patterns, understand difficult thoughts and emotions, build coping skills, and take meaningful steps forward. I won't claim to be the expert on your life. My role is to walk alongside you and help guide the change process at a pace that feels respectful and manageable. You're here for a reason. The right fit can change the outcome. Maybe I can help. Whether it's the same fight on repeat, a habit you can't shake, a loss, or just not feeling like yourself, I invite you to keep reading to learn more about me and my approach. Maybe your life is working in most of the ways that count—work, relationships, the things you care about—but something keeps getting in the way. The same argument. Anxiety that doesn't match the situation. Shutting down when someone gets close, or blowing up and regretting it later. You might understand exactly what you're doing and still do it anyway. Or maybe something happened, like an affair coming to light, a relationship ending, or losing someone, and the way you've always handled things isn't working anymore. Therapy with me has direction. We'll know what we're working toward and check in regularly on what's changing and what's still getting in the way. What we work on in session should carry into your life, whether that means noticing a pattern, trying a different response, or having a conversation you've been avoiding. You'll know you're making progress when you catch a familiar pattern sooner, understand what's happening inside you instead of just reacting, stay steadier in hard conversations, set boundaries and make decisions with less second-guessing, recover from setbacks faster, and handle things on your own that you used to need help with. Progress doesn't mean you'll never feel anxious, angry, or stuck again. It means you're better at handling it yourself. As that becomes consistent, we'll space sessions out and eventually wrap up. The goal is for you to need me less over time.

Hey! I'm glad that you are looking to get therapy. Here are some things to know about me while making you decision on what works well for you. I come from a military life style allowing me to travel the world and see all kinds of cultures. Because of this I see value in everyone. I believe in getting results in therapy. I want to see people change as fast as they want to or are willing to. So I give things to practice in every session. I believe in poly vagal theory and teach clients to release emotions from there nervous system not just cope with it. I often say I consider myself more of a trainer than therapist sometimes. I also help a lot with attachment struggles. I hope this gives you enough info about me to feel comfortable working with me. I am also very flexible with how I work with people.

Jerry grew up in the Midwest and had a former career as a federal wildland fire crew and EMT on municipal ambulances. He has since lived in five states and now calls Ogden home. EMDR, and Somatic therapies reconnects us with ourselves and releases trauma stored in our body. “As a therapist I am not afraid to walk through the hell of your wounds of fear, shame, and guilt because underneath all this there is an amazing person.” Many of us swim in anxiety, although the real confusion often comes in when you feel calmness and peace for the first time. Specialized in PTSD Jerry also helps with depression, anxiety and ADHD. I enjoy experiential therapy instead of talking in a loop. With experiential you feel and heal unfinished business(anxiety an trauma) in your nervous system. We will address different parts/dialogues in your thought patterns. Brainspotting(EMDR) which is difficult to explain, although most people report as the most profound healing they have had. Jerry is also trained in healing trauma through feeling into your authentic self prior to the trauma. While it is true that these therapies are intensive, we can also intensively feel into your calmness, connection, creativity, and clarity. Therapy should feel uncomfortable at times but never retraumatizing.

I have lived a life much like most of my clients. I have experienced hardships and achievements, sadness and joy, and disappointment in myself and in others. For most of my life, I have been lucky enough to somehow “figure it out” on my own. At one point in my life, I made a commitment to myself that no one should have to “figure it out” on their own. You've taken the first step! I'm Necole a licensed clinician counselor in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, and Utah. I've always desired to understand feelings, behavior and the human mind; always been driven toward solving the questions that start with why. My passion for therapy began after realizing I was helping many clients with the similar concerns related to identity confusion, limited self-awareness, and low self-confidence. Life is pretty complex and sometimes presents us with challenges that require support and therapeutic interventions to achieve balance and overall wellness. Congratulations to you for your courage, and on your decision to seek empowerment and enhance your current emotional well-being. If you are in need of more support for your journey don't hesitate to reach out. Even if we aren't the right fit let me send you in the right direction.

I enjoy working with adults through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and relationship challenges and have over a decade of experience. In our work together, I bring a grounded, compassionate, and curious approach that helps slow things down so we can understand what’s actually happening beneath the surface—not just the symptoms, but the patterns, experiences, and meanings behind them. I integrate trauma-informed care, DBT skills, and attachment-based work to help you build both insight and practical tools for change. Clients often come to me when they’re ready for something to feel different, even if they can’t fully explain what needs to shift yet. Together, we work to make sense of what has been shaping your emotional world and relationships, and we focus on creating new ways of responding that feel more steady, connected, and aligned with the life you want to build.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
