You've probably tried to push through that dreadful anxiety or heavy depression on your own. Maybe your having intense emotions that make you feel like you're too much or never enough. Part of you wonders: why can't I just be okay? You're not broken. What you're dealing with is exhausting and real. The patterns that keep repeating aren't a character flaw. They're a signal that something deeper needs attention, and they make sense. I specialize in exactly this: helping you break the patterns that feel impossible to change and navigate painful experiences that don't just go away on their own.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My approach is warm and structured. We'll identify early what's actually driving your symptoms, then build real skills that bring relief. Within 24 hours of every session, I'll send you a personalized summary, educational piece, and practical tools to use during the week. Because what happens between sessions is where lasting change takes root.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring clinical training and lived experience to this work. I'm in recovery myself and a parent of an LGBTQ+ child. I will never sit across from you with judgment, only understanding. Our first session is simple: I just want to get to know you. You don't need the right words. Come exactly as you are. When you're ready, I'd love to hear from you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adults of all ages and genders who are struggling with anxiety, depression, intense emotions, repeating patterns, trauma, or painful life experiences that feel hard to move through alone. Many of my clients feel exhausted from trying to “just be okay” and are looking for a warm, nonjudgmental space where they can better understand what is driving their symptoms, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, then build practical skills to challenge unhelpful patterns, manage symptoms, and create meaningful change between sessions.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I have completed ACT training and use this approach to help clients make room for difficult thoughts and emotions, connect with their values, and take meaningful steps toward the life they want even when anxiety, depression, or painful experiences are present.

EMDR

I am trained in EMDR through EMDR of the Rockies EMDRIA approved program and have been using it for five years to help clients safely process painful or traumatic experiences, reduce the intensity of distressing memories, and move toward greater emotional relief and healing.

Psychoeducation

I have been facilitating psychoeducation groups for five years and currently conduct at least three groups each week, using education, practical tools, and supportive discussion to help clients better understand their symptoms, build coping skills, and apply what they learn outside of sessions.

Mind-body approach

I use a mind-body approach to help clients understand how emotional distress shows up physically, then integrate grounding, nervous system regulation, breathwork, and body awareness skills to support healing, reduce symptoms, and create a greater sense of safety within themselves.
