Subsequently earning a second master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in practice with Hispanic children and families from Our Lady of the Lake University which facilitated working with unaccompanied minors from Central America (Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, etc.) with specialized experience in complex trauma, complex PTSD, physical/sexual/emotional abuse, pregnancy, sex, and labor trafficking along with maladaptive behaviors (substance use, suicide ideations, self-harm, body dysphoria, and eating disorders) for the past 9 years.
