Hi! I'm an LCSW from Texas with a Master's Degree from Our Lady of the Lake University In San Antonio. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and teenagers on emotional regulation and building their resilience. I am also passionate about working with parents who need some guidance navigating the challenges that becoming a parent can bring. I believe that every person deserves to live a happy and fulfilled life, and each person has the strength and tools they need to be resilient and successful. I'm an avid believer in the power of positive thinking and I will always promote self-care!
In our first session, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I've always been accused of being an amazing listener! After actively listening to you, I will cater your treatment plan based on your needs. I'm flexible and knowledgeable regarding a number of treatment modalities. I feel that what works for one person might not work for another and as such, we will work together to formulate a plan that is catered specifically to you and your needs.
I love working with adults who are struggling with setting boundaries and issues communicating their needs. This can be in work settings or in relationships. I also love working with adults struggling with anxiety and depression who have the skills they need to live happier lives, but just don't know what those skills are yet. I also love working with children and adolescents who are struggling with peer issues or anxiety and depression.

CBT is an evidence based approach that focuses on teaching individuals skills and techniques they can continue using even after therapy ends. I believe that each individual has the ability and the tools to live happier and healthier lives, but with the help of CBT they can become more aware of how negative thoughts can impact mood and behavior.
I believe that every individual has positive qualities that can be used to assist in living a happier life, however some people might need assistance in discovering what those strengths are.
