Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from Amberton University and I have been a counselor for six years. I help young adults struggling with career stress and burnout become the best versions of themselves. In addition, I’m here to support you through life’s most challenging transitions. Whether you're navigating a career change, personal growth, or relationship challenges, I offer a safe and supportive space to explore your journey

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, a psychosocial assessment, then get into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with a diverse population in the field of education and counseling, I actively listen to identify the root cause of the issues you may be facing and create an individualized treatment plan to measure progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with adolescents and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, burnout in their careers, or struggling to navigate life transitions. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel constrained, overwhelmed and anxious about their careers and transitions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The therapist encourages the patient to share their thoughts about the problems, including their self-talk, interpretations, and beliefs. I utilize cognitive restructuring, journaling, and guided discovery.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Use exercises to help clients become aware of their emotions and bodily sensations without being controlled by them. I also provide psychoeducation.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I create a safe space for clients to process their thoughts and feelings while gaining a sense of self-confidence.
