I’m a licensed counselor in Texas with 14 years of experience in both private practice and school settings. As a high school counselor, I’ve worked with students, their families, and school staff, supporting clients facing challenges like anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, eating disorders, self-esteem issues, relationship struggles, and career decisions. My role has exposed me to a wide range of counseling areas and clients, and working with people of all ages has given me valuable insight into different life situations, helping me grow both personally and professionally in my counseling career.
I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed psychologist providing individual and family counseling. I am licensed in Texas and have over 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist. I work with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relationship and parenting challenges, and stress management. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
In addition to treating mood and anxiety disorders, I’ve worked closely with individuals and families involved in the legal system and Child Protective Services, offering support through complex and high-stress circumstances.
My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and respectful. I believe in meeting each client with sensitivity and compassion — without judgment or stigmatizing labels. My approach integrates cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, narrative, and solution-focused techniques, and I tailor each treatment plan to meet your unique goals and needs.
It takes courage to seek support and make meaningful changes. If you're ready to take that first step, I'm here to walk alongside you and help you build a more fulfilling and empowered life.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Texas. I received my Masters and Bachelors in Social work, with an emphasis in Child Welfare and Family Therapy. I have been practicing as a therapist for 6 years. Prior to that, I worked as a social worker for psychiatric services. Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who's been servicing the mental health needs of individuals and groups for over 15 years. I graduated with my undergraduates in Psychology and Spanish, followed by my Master's of Science in Social Work, and ended with my Doctorate of Clinical Leadership in Social Work. I help people deal with day to day life challenges brought on by mental health concerns in our lives, sometimes due to trauma or significant events in our lives. My experience initiated working with multi-ethnic children in foster group homes, adults in the Dallas area, women, and more recently with active duty military personnel. I help my clients process and heal from trauma using various methods to meet each person where they are at. Providing therapy is a privilege for me. I'd love to see if I may be of service to you and your needs right where you are currently in you own life journey. Please schedule a session if you're interested in working together. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples.
My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy.
I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility.

Overthinking Your Way to Underliving? Let’s Fix That.
When you look at your life, it seems great on paper. But lately you’ve been stuck — unable to decide whether to take the job, end the relationship, or even pick a restaurant for dinner. You’re waking up tired no matter how much you sleep, and there’s a worry running in the background that hasn’t let up in a while, and even the small decisions have started to feel exhausting.
This is what happens when anxiety and depression show up together, which they often do — especially in people used to solving problems by thinking harder. The anxious part of you keeps spinning, weighing every option. The depressed part of you is running low, flat, hard to motivate. Both at once means you’re keyed up and worn out in the same breath.
My job is to help you untangle that: give the overthinking somewhere to land, and the exhaustion somewhere to actually rest.
Together, we’ll work on:
• Separating perfectionism from your actual values
• Making peace with “good enough”
• Building tolerance for uncertainty
• Treating the anxiety and low mood together, since treating one without the other rarely sticks
This isn’t about pushing through on your own. Therapy gives you a place to slow the overthinking, address the anxiety and low mood together, and build coping skills that hold up under pressure.
My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and centered on creating a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself—without judgment or pressure to fit into someone else’s idea of how you “should” think, feel, or live. My own experience as a neurodivergent person, along with my personal and professional experience with neurodiversity, has given me a genuine understanding of how differently each person can experience the world and their own mind. I enjoy helping clients understand how their unique brain works, recognize their strengths, and find ways to work with themselves rather than against themselves. I especially enjoy working with teens and young adults as they discover who they are, set goals, and navigate life’s challenges, while welcoming clients at every stage of life.
I would identify myself as someone who is very approachable and down to earth who sees great value in life and spending it with those that I value most. Making genuine connections with those with common interests is always a great start to building rapport and helping those in need. When providing therapy I like to look at each individual as a whole and then to peel. back the issues and concerns that are present and then to add the guidance and then to restore what is needed so that each person can continue living their lives in the way it was intended to be.
Therapy can be a frightening, overwhelming process, yet one of the most rewarding and life changing experiences of your life. It allows you to be you, share your thoughts and feelings without judgement, feel safe, gain insight into your thought process, your behaviors, and learn to be in control of your overall experiences. Through your strengths and weaknesses, you will learn to embrace each and every experience, and you will gain the knowledge to make the changes you need to achieve your goals. You will find the power within you to bring fulfillment to your life journey.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience helping people, couples, and families grow, and learn what they need to have a more fulfilling life experience. I will listen to your life experience. I will listen to your challenges. I will work with you on reaching your goals or helping you identify your goals in order for you to feel successful in our therapeutic process.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with expertise working with LGBTQIA+ and Nuerodivergent individuals. Starting therapy can feel scary — but it can also be life-changing. You are brave, and you're not alone. I believe that therapy is ready to work for those who are ready to make the leap. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ it is close to my heart to ensure that all people have a safe, nonjudgmental place to process life's challenges. I also tend to use humor in session as a way to process stressors.
Starting therapy can be intimidating and I am here to assist you taking that step. I love to see my clients grow into who they want to be and take joy in seeing them overcome obstacles life throw at them. I am able to tailor my therapeutic techniques to individual needs of clients. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Perinatal mental health, and more.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California, and I help adults navigate burned out, anxiety, and life transitions. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. My approach combines evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with mindfulness techniques, helping you build practical tools while also understanding the deeper patterns that keep you stuck. In our sessions, you can expect a space that is both compassionate and practical-no nodding silently for 50 minutes. I'm here to help you get back to feeling like yourself, only more grounded and resilient. I offer secure, convenient virtual therapy throughout California. Please, reach out to see if we are a good fit.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience working with adults. My practice focuses on helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress, and relationship challenges through a compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based approach.
I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy to help clients develop practical coping skills, gain insight into patterns that may be contributing to distress, and build on their strengths to create meaningful and lasting change. I provide virtual therapy services in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to achieve their goals.
Life can feel heavy when you are trying to manage anxiety, depression, stress, self-doubt, or major life changes while still showing up for everyone and everything around you. You may look like you have it together on the outside, but inside you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, stuck, or unsure of your next step.
I work with young adults and adults who are navigating life transitions, relationship stress, career stress, self-esteem concerns, emotional overwhelm, and the pressure of trying to figure everything out. Therapy with me is a space where you do not have to carry it all alone. I offer a warm, authentic, and supportive environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
Together, we will work on understanding your emotions, building healthy coping skills, strengthening confidence, and helping you feel more grounded and in control of your life. I’m Dr. Karress Vallier, LCSW, and my approach is compassionate, real, and solution-focused.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, and ongoing life stress. I believe therapy should feel steady and purposeful — a place where you can speak honestly about what’s heavy while also making meaningful progress.
My style is calm, grounded, and direct. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we explore both where those patterns began and how they’re affecting your relationships, work, and sense of self today.
I integrate EMDR, CBT, and ACT to address the root of distress while also building practical skills for emotional regulation and clearer decision-making. I value depth, but I also value structure — therapy should not feel aimless.
I tend to work well with people who hold a lot together for others yet quietly carry internal stress, self-doubt, or unresolved experiences. I believe you don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. When someone is ready to look beneath the surface, not just manage symptoms but understand and shift what’s underneath, that’s where meaningful change begins.
