Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and my goal is to make the process feel approachable from the very first session. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 14 years of experience helping adults and adolescents navigate ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation built on trust, curiosity, and collaboration. Rather than simply listening or giving advice, I work alongside clients to better understand what's keeping them stuck while developing practical strategies that fit their lives. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies with compassion, humor when appropriate, and a focus on long-term growth.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Human Development from Virginia Tech, followed by a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. I have close to 10 years of experience working as a therapist in both community based environments as well as through outpatient and telehealth settings. I have worked with a variety of clients that range in ages from adolescence through older adulthood. I work with my clients to help them overcome whatever issues they may be facing. I believe it is important to meet them where they are at and provide a safe, nurturing, and non judgmental space where we can work through issues and stressors together and develop ways for you to effectively cope with them. You never know what life is going to throw you, especially in today's world. I want to help you overcome your fears and stressors and become the best version of your self you can be! I integrate evidence-based treatments to meet your needs, with a focus on anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Greetings, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should be a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood—not judged. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship and communication challenges, anger, life transitions, trauma, and other emotional or behavioral concerns.
I bring a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. I recognize that every person’s experiences are different, and I take the time to understand your story, strengths, challenges, and goals. My role is not to tell you how to live your life, but to help you gain insight, develop healthier ways of coping, and feel more confident navigating the challenges in front of you.
Whether you are struggling with something that has been weighing on you for years or simply need support navigating a difficult season, you do not have to figure it all out alone. My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and individualized. I incorporate evidence-based strategies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with other therapeutic techniques based on your specific needs and goals.
Kind greetings to you! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with Supervisor status (LPC-S) based in Texas. I received my Masters from the University of Texas RGV and have been practicing for 10 years. I have over 15 years of mental health experience. I help clients who are experiencing anxiety, grief, and depression to find ways to overcome their obstacles and find their best selves.
Tired of being tired, feeling helpless, hopeless, empty? Life is feeling overwhelming or unmanageable? I understand and I'm here to say it doesn't have to be that way.
This is a difficult step, accepting that something needs to change.
Together we will navigate through all the things that are forming a barrier to your ability to feel whole. We'll address your mind, body and spiritual needs to get you to a positive place. You deserve to feel good, to have clarity in your life and to feel empowered. My goal is to get you to that place. In our sessions together, you will feel heard, understood and supported.
I will provide you with compassion and guidance utilizing evidence-based treatment. I've worked with people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, loss, addictions, parenting challenges, co-parenting transitions, trauma, relationship challenges, bipolar disorder and the list goes on.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW-S) based in Texas. I received my Master of Social Worker Degree from Texas State University and have been in private practice for over six years. I work with women of all ages utilizing their own strengths to work through their trauma, stress, and life transitions while improving their well-being and quality of life.
I have over 30 years of experience working with individuals impacted by abuse, neglect, substance use, mental health, incarceration and illness. I have worked with children, families and individuals in varied settings to include juvenile probation, residential treatment, drug court and over 16 years in the child welfare system. For the last 12 years, I have worked in an inpatient hospital setting. I have worked specifically the last 11 years in Women’s Health Services. I am committed to helping others improve their quality of life in a non-judgmental and welcoming space.
I am a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth therapist who believes therapy works best when clients feel genuinely safe, heard, and understood. I strive to create a space where people can show up as they are without feeling judged, rushed, or expected to have everything figured out.
My approach is rooted in connection and collaboration. While I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic and nervous-system-informed techniques, and trauma-informed care into my work, I primarily work from a person-centered perspective, meaning I tailor therapy to each individual rather than taking a rigid or one-size-fits-all approach.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who may be navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, stress, or self-esteem struggles. Many of my clients are thoughtful, sensitive, high-functioning people who are used to carrying a lot internally and are looking for both practical support and a deeper understanding of themselves.
I believe healing often begins with having a space where you no longer feel like you have to hold everything together alone. My goal is to help clients feel supported while building insight, confidence, emotional resilience, and meaningful change in their lives.

Treat others the way you want to be treated is the motto I live by. I want to be treated kindly, I want to be heard and I want to feel I matter. This is how I will treat you, without strings or hesitation.
I have a story just as you do. I have been lucky to choose a career that has enabled me to know when I need to talk to someone, enabled me to learn and use coping skills that work and has also enabled me to see the beauty through the broken pieces.
Growing up I was a nosey child, I always wanted to know the "why", I still do! This personality trait led me on a path where I have been able to meet people from all walks of life, people who seemingly burned every bridge walked over, people with no hope as well as people who just were going through a rough patch. All these individuals have helped me become the person and the therapist I am today.
I am truly excited to hear people’s story, restore faith and be the constant in people’s lives. Give me a chance to hear your story, you are not alone!
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas. I received my masters in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) and have been practicing for 8 years. I have experience working with individuals from ages 3-100, but am currently only working with adults and young adults. I have a vast experience in crisis work, dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm. I also have experience working with difficult family dynamics.
DISCLAIMER: Please do not book me based off of ratings or reviews. Your experience with me will be personal and UNIQUE to YOUR needs, not someone else's needs or experience. Please book me if you perceive I am the right TOOL to use and help you reach your INDIVIDUAL goals. Book me if you are seeking an action-oriented therapist who provides HOMEWORK! Book me if you have insight about your situation, some history with therapy, are seeking solution-focused steps, and are not seeking someone to solely affirm you. I may or may not be the best therapist for newcomers (depends on you) as I ask a lot of questions, which can overwhelm you if you are not used to being questioned. Questioning is to understand you and get to the root of the problem, as well as the excuses used to perpetuate the problem. I am not interested in treating symptoms but rather getting to the core of the problem. If you don't want to do the work, I am just an expensive "Friend". So please be sure that you understand my style before booking me ;-). I am warm, DIRECT, solution-focused, AUTHENTIC, mildly confrontational, 100% Raw/Real and guaranteed to make you laugh as I have often heard from clients that I am funny :-) I won't lie to you or co-sign lies you tell yourself. I will gently reflect what you are not saying and what you are not showing so that you can explore for yourself. The only way out of pain is through. Not above, below, around but through.. The good news is you are not alone and don’t have to do it alone. Utilize the resources offered in this collaborative effort in creating the life (mind, body, & soul) you deserve.
Hello! I'm Stephanie, a dedicated bilingual therapist and LCSW supervisor serving the Texas area. I help children and adults navigate life transitions.

Hi there ! As a former educator, I’ve always been passionate about helping others grow, discover their potential, and build confidence in their own abilities. Transitioning into the field of mental health as a social worker , I continue that same mission supporting individuals as they navigate the challenges of life. I believe everyone has unique inner strengths, and my goal is to help you uncover and enhance those strengths . I use evidence based approaches such as CBT, DBT, Solution -Focused brief therapy, Trauma Focused CBT and Narrative therapy to support meaningful growth and progress.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy the simple joys of spending time with my dogs. They remind me daily of the importance of connection, balance, and play. I look forward to working with you as you move toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and well-being.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Houston, Texas with extensive experience in mental health treatment across diverse populations, especially ethnicity, gender, age, religious, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status. My journey in the mental health field began during my undergraduate studies, where I first became involved in victim advocacy. This experience deepened my understanding of social dynamics, (in)justice and human behavior, leading to dual bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Women’s Studies.
While pursuing my graduate degree, I worked at the National Domestic Violence Hotline, further honing my skills in crisis intervention and critical thinking/problem-solving . After earning a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin, I completed a post-graduate fellowship focused on psychiatric rehabilitation of veterans with severe mental illness.
I further advanced my clinical skills when joining The Menninger Clinic staff, where I spent five years specializing in the treatment of business professionals facing mental health crises, young adults navigating the transition into adulthood, and clients experiencing severe mental health challenges, including suicidal ideation.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, after recognizing the urgent need for increased access to mental health care I established my private practice, Therapy by Ivy, PLLC. Since then I have offered individual telehealth sessions to adult clients seeking to improve their mental health and enhance their lives. In 2023, I expanded my practice to include in-person sessions while continuing to provide telehealth sessions. Based in the Houston Heights area, I am proud to offer flexible session options, accept most major insurance plans, and self-pay sliding fee for the uninsured or underinsured.

I am a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor, School Counselor, and Group Fitness Instructor, and I truly believe that wellness is about caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. In our society, there is a strong stigma against mental health services, but I try and break that stigma daily. I would love to begin working with you on your journey to wellness.
I’m Tamera J. Stouton, a Licensed Professional Counselor, EMDR Certified Therapist, and EMDR Consultant-in-Training! I love guiding women, couples, and emerging EMDR therapists through the journey of becoming—healing wounds, building healthy relationships, and developing the confidence to show up fully in life, relationships and business. My approach weaves evidence-based trauma therapy with a deeply holistic lens: honoring the mind, body, and spirit as one system of healing.
In our work together, therapy & consultation becomes a sacred journey, a space to slow down, process painful experiences, and reconnect with your innate resilience. I integrate EMDR, parts work, polyvagal and somatic practices, along with relational frameworks like Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy, to help my clients move beyond survival into embodied peace and purpose.
As a therapist & EMDR consultant in training, I bring both clinical depth and spiritual wisdom, rooted in years of study, teaching, and lived experience. I believe healing is not just about symptom relief; it’s about remembering who you are beneath the wounds.

Hi, I am Dr. Erica Martinez! I am a first-generation Latina, raised on the West Side of San Antonio who had an opportunity to become a licensed clinical social worker with a PhD in Social Work. I believe in the power of therapy and walk alongside individuals as they navigate their unique situations and find lasting solutions, and more importantly, healing.
Therapy with me is real, relational, and rooted in truth.
I bring what I call a homie check-in into the space—a mix of honesty, reflection, and support where you can be called in (not called out), challenged with care, and supported as you grow into the version of yourself you’re becoming.
You’ve been holding it together for a long time.
Showing up for everyone. Pushing through. Carrying things that people don’t always see.
And at the same time... something feels off.
You’re overwhelmed, burned out, or reacting in ways that don’t fully feel like you.
That’s where our work begins.
I work with women navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, and life transitions, especially those who are used to being “the strong one.” Together, we make sense of your patterns, your reactions, and the parts of you that learned how to survive.

Hello there. My name is Joan I have been a social worker for over 25 years. I would be honored to assist you in your journey towards a happier healthier you.

I attended SMU Counseling Program in Plano from 2010 to 2013. I was privileged to complete my practicum and internship at the Resource Center in Dallas. I requested this opportunity so I could help as many people as possible. This was not standard procedure, but I was allowed to do the unusual.
I believe clients simply want to be happy. They want to make their choices in life without guilt or shame. Everyone deserves that freedom. I hope that I can help people facilitate that life.
I am happy to share techniques that provide acceptance that allow people to not be impacted by the judgmental world in which we live.

Throughout my career, I have supported individuals from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, anxiety, and complex mental-health symptoms, including hallucinations. I provide compassionate, individualized, and nonjudgmental care to help clients feel understood, develop practical coping skills, and move toward healing and meaningful change.
I have 20+ years as a licensed professional counselor and 15 years post graduation in clinical psychology. My virtual practice focuses on women and men who are seeking to reduce depression and anxiety while enhancing positive mood. These sessions are priced by your insurance company. I have in person sessions working with individuals and families of all ages. Clients are taught coping strategies to manage difficult feelings. My approach is to conduct evaluations, design treatment plans, and facilitate individual therapy.
My educational background includes an undergraduate degree in psychology from Texas A&M University, a master's degree in professional counseling from Texas State University and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Alliant International University. My doctoral dissertation was "Childhood Near-Death Experiences and Psychotherapy." In 2009, this research study won an award for meeting the California Mental Health Services Act requirements for research about spirituality.

Hello,
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and in 1997, after 25 yeas of service, I retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I worked as a Farrier (Horseshoer), as well as a structural welder (Ironworker), as those were the most marketable skill that I had. I came to a point where old injuries came back to haunt me and I could no longer walk (several years later, thanks to a surgery through the VA, I can walk again; thankful for that).
At this point, I changed professions and out of a desire to work with veterans, I returned to school, accomplishing all that was necessary to become a licensed counselor. I spent another career working for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically as a counselor in the Readjustment Counseling Service (Vet Center). I recently retired from the Vet Center and now I work part-time here with Grow Therapy.
As a retired Marine senior staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and disabled combat veteran myself, the Vet Center was the perfect job. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans and provide counseling to survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). Vet Centers also provide group counseling, bereavement counseling and couples counseling when this is determined to be of support to the veteran.
Readjustment counseling many times consists of treating/addressing symptoms related to post-traumatic stress (PTSD), I.e., anxiety, depression, exaggerated startle response, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, etc. Many veterans go on to work as first responders and working with many first responders as well as medical personal, has provided me with a great deal of additional experience.
Hi! I'm Braden.
I specialize in helping individuals and families heal from trauma and move toward integration and wholeness. My approach is grounded in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention), as well as a strong understanding of the latest neuroscience to help you regain balance and inner peace.
In our work together, we’ll focus on your whole self—mind, body, and spirit. Whether you’re struggling with attachment wounds, family conflict, parenting challenges, or past trauma, I offer evidence-based tools, such as mindfulness and DBT skills, to support you in healing and creating lasting change.
I understand that taking the first step toward therapy can be overwhelming, but I want you to know that you are not alone. In our sessions, I’ll meet you with compassion, understanding, and practical techniques to help you break through the barriers keeping you stuck.
If you’re ready to start your healing journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you and support you every step of the way. Together, we can create a path forward and restore balance in your life.
