Hi! My name is Mira and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health from Midwestern State University. I also graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelors of Arts in Human Development and Family Sciences and a concentration on Families and Personal Relationships. As a child of immigrant parents, I understand the complexities of inter-generational trauma. The weight of cultural and societal expectations can take a toll on one’s mental health. Family and religious pressure can also have a negative effect on our own identity and self-perception. I believe that no matter what our past has given us or what our future holds, we are capable of working through our life challenges. My goal as a therapist is to help my clients embrace their authentic self and discover new paths of healing and growth.

Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I have spent 26 years in the Army working in healthcare. Five years ago, I transitioned to the mental health field to continue my passion for working with individuals in need. I help adults struggling with anxiety related to career and relationship stress become the best versions of themselves.
I really like psychology. I like the art of effective communication. I like using psychology to understand myself and others behaviors. I believe faith along logical thinking to help people sustain realistic self-acceptance while giving intentional self-compassion.
I am drawn to psychology because it offers a way to make sense of human experience in a structured yet deeply personal way. I value effective communication as an art because it allows people to express themselves clearly, reduce misunderstandings, and build stronger emotional connections. I use psychological principles to better understand both my own behavior and the behavior of others, which helps create more awareness, empathy, and intentional responses in relationships and daily life.
I also believe that combining faith with logical thinking can support a more grounded approach to personal growth. This balance allows individuals to hold onto meaning and hope while still engaging in realistic, rational reflection. Through this integration, people can develop a sense of self-acceptance that is honest and sustainable, while also practicing intentional self-compassion that encourages growth without self-judgment.

My journey into mental healthcare is deeply personal and rooted in both lived experience and resilience. I was drawn to this field through many of the challenges I have faced and overcome throughout my own life. One of the most transformative moments in my journey occurred after I acquired a disability, an experience that completely shifted my perspective on healing, vulnerability, and emotional wellness.
My personal experiences allow me to approach therapy with authenticity, compassion, and a deeper level of connection. I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel safe enough to be honest, explore their emotions without judgment, and move toward healing at their own pace.
Those experiences ultimately shaped not only my career path, but also the type of therapist I strive to be, which is someone who leads with empathy, values genuine human connection, and understands that healing often begins when people feel supported, empowered, and no longer alone in what they are carrying.
I have 9 years of experience offering support for those going through hard things. I hold a Masters degree in Social Work from Tarleton State University. I strive to embrace life's full spectrum and provide space for others while helping them to live their best lives . I have experience working with adults, children and adolescents in an array of settings including shelters, outreach centers, schools and hospitals.

Hi! I’m Jimmy Secoy, a Licensed Professional Counselor. My work is grounded in the belief that people aren’t meant to go through life’s hardest moments alone. Therapy, to me, is a place where you get to slow down, breathe, and be fully heard — without judgment and without pressure to “have it all together.”
Clients often describe me as accepting, approachable, and empathetic. I bring a calm presence to the room, but I’m also not afraid to gently challenge patterns that keep you stuck. My goal is to help you understand yourself more clearly and build the tools you need to move forward with confidence.
I have a background in crisis intervention and working with people at different levels of care who are dealing with anxiety and mood-related challenges. I primarily use DBT and ACT, and I like to keep things practical by helping people build coping skills, make sense of what they’re experiencing, and feel more steady and empowered in their everyday lives.
In the room, I show up as warm, down-to-earth, and often a little humorous. I’ll meet you where you’re at, but I’ll also gently challenge you when it feels helpful. I really believe people are the authors of their own stories, even when earlier chapters haven’t felt like their choice. My goal is to support you in writing what comes next in a way that feels more aligned, manageable, and meaningful.
I also feel it is important to stay mindful of the different identities, experiences, and privileges we all carry, and how those shape the way we move through the world and the healing process.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to be themselves and explore difficult emotions and experiences.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each individual’s needs. I incorporate techniques from play therapy, mindfulness, trauma-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and develop greater self-understanding. I especially enjoy helping children and teens express themselves in creative and developmentally appropriate ways through telehealth.
I believe therapy can be a place for healing, growth, and meaningful change. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child, my goal is to help clients feel heard, empowered, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.

There is a way out. Those who come to see me are often at a crossroads, frustrated at how they are trying to deal with problems and seeking workable strategies and solutions to cope. Therapy is meant to be a space to feel welcome to talk about thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are problematic. Understanding unhealthy behaviors, frustrations with life, and/or unsuccessful efforts to cope can help reveal the obstacles that may block your path to growth and desired outcomes.
I have over 15 years experience providing therapy and case management including in the areas of: Couples counseling; Anxiety issues; Medical and chronic pain issues; Phobias; Eating disorders and body image challenges; Post-residential and outpatient maintenance therapy for continued abstinence and sobriety from substance use and eating disorders; Fertility and conception issues; LGBTQ and gender concerns; and Couples counseling (without legal involvement).
I am distinguished by my training in Strengths Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Emotional Freedom "Tapping" technique, Acceptance and Commitment, Mindfulness, and Contemplative Care. I am licensed in CA, ID, VA, FL, TX, NJ, WA, and UT.

Hello! I'm so glad to meet you. My name is Kiara Gaton, and I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I’ve served in various roles throughout my career, most recently as a therapist and school social worker. I’m deeply passionate about empowering clients to take charge of their lives and equipping them with the tools and perspectives they need to thrive.
If you're living with a serious illness, caring for someone who is, or navigating a loss that has changed everything — you already know that the hardest part isn't always the medical reality. It's the fear that doesn't leave. The exhaustion of staying strong. The feeling that you should be "over it" by now, but aren't.
I've been there. After recovering from my own serious illness, I found my way back to myself — and that experience is at the heart of everything I bring to this work.
For years I've specialized in supporting people navigating cancer, serious illness, and profound loss — and for the past several years I've been doing that work through Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a gentle, evidence-based approach that helps your brain reprocess painful memories and images without requiring you to relive them out loud. Many clients experience significant relief in just one to three sessions.
You don't have to keep managing fear. There's a way through it.
My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling lighter — not just heard, but actually shifted.
