About me

Hello! I'm Suzanne and so glad that you have reached out and have an interest in therapy. I am currently practicing in Texas. I graduated with my Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. I have previously worked with children and families who have experienced a traumatic event or injury in a medical setting as well as with children who have experienced physical, sexual abuse or witnessed a violent crime. I have experience working with adults, adolescents and children who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and experiencing a traumatic event.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

It is of upmost importance to me that you feel welcomed, comfortable and safe when you come for therapy. We will spend time discussing your history and what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain. Working together we will crate a treatment plan to help you reach your goals.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

I utilize a combination of evidence based therapeutic modalities. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with advanced training in protocols with children and adolescents. I find it helpful to integrate solution-focused therapy as well as mindfulness. I am very excited to be offering Sand Tray Therapy as well!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My biggest strengths that I hear from my clients is that I truly care for them and their healing. I am open to learning from my clients as they are the experts of their experience.
