New to Grow
Hello. Do you need a warm and accepting environment where the counselor is non-judgmental and there to talk about your concerns? That's how I work. Let me give you the expertise, knowledge, and perspective gained through working with people in therapy for over 30 years as a licensed counselor with experience in providing, teen, couples, and individual counseling. I travel alongside you and support and guide you as you make difficult life decisions, solve problems, heal or let go of relationships, and work toward self-acceptance and self-compassion. Together we will identify your goals for counseling and work to get you to a happier and healthier place in your life.
In our first session, we will develop a professional relationship, develop trust and explore your needs. This may include talking about your past, if relevant, your present issues, and your future goals.
It's very easy to talk to me as I am open and accepting. I truly care deeply about the well-being of the people I seek to help. While I deal with depression, anxiety, and stress, I am very experienced in working with mood disorders, especially Bipolar Disorder. I specialize in trauma, whether it is from childhood or adulthood. We can use a special type of therapy called EMDR to help you resolve trauma issues. Having been trained in ERP, I also counsel people diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
I enjoy working with clients who have mood disorders, particularly Bipolar Disorder. I also work a lot with patients with PTSD and other types of traumatic reactions. As an older clinician, I can provide life wisdom and guidance to my clients as I collaborate with them on their journey. My work with clients is non-judgmental, ethical, accepting and empathetic. I find great satisfaction helping each client find his/her/their best self.
