I work with partners, couples, and marriages to be direct and improve communication, trust, commitment and general satisfaction within relationships. I enjoy working with individuals, couples/partners and families (over 18 years old) to help them through rough patches or teaching tools to use at home to boost happiness, confidence, and commitment in relationships. I have facilitated relationships including dating, marriage (1-5 years together, 7-10 years together, or even 20-30 years together), and family combinations (parent/in-law, grandparents, co-parenting, roommates, sisters/brothers, or relatives) that want to get along better.
I hold therapy for individuals, around such topics as anxiety, depression, grief/loss, family relationship issues, work stress, and other things to see changes in life.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating—especially if you’re used to carrying everything on your own. Have you ever been told to "get over it", that whatever you are going through will be okay, or that what you're going through isn't a big deal? Then I can help!
Hi, I’m Debbie, a therapist who believes healing happens through connection, compassion, and honest conversations.
I help people who feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure of their next step. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin—just a willingness to start.
If this resonates with you, you’re in the right place. 🩷
Hello, my name is Christina and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Killeen, Texas. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Drury University. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University-Central Texas. I also have a certificate in Chemical Dependency and Addiction. I grew up as a military dependant (Army Brat) and later became a military spouse. I am familiar with military culture and the stresses that being in the military can put on those individuals who are serving plus their families.
Growing up in a diverse military culture has helped me to be an open-minded, non-judgmental, compassionate, patient, and trauma-informed therapist. I also believe that everyone can benefit from counseling because sometimes life just gets too hard and we need a safe space to retreat, relax and regroup. I have worked with many individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma. I would love to help you to navigate through your struggles as well.
Trauma hurts. It can be sudden, life-altering and overwhelming, or chronic, subtle and nearly unnoticeable, but either way it can change the way we think about others, the world, and unfortunately, ourselves. Dealing with the aftermath—changes in our relationships, lashing out toward self or others, feeling nothing and/or everything all at once—is sometimes as hard as the initial event, especially when society, friends and family and our own minds tell us to “just get over it.” Worse, sometimes we aren’t even sure where the trauma came from in the first place, leaving us confused and even feeling hopeless. If you could just “get over it,” you would, but sometimes the brain simply cannot process traumatic events without help, and this is why trauma therapy exists. :)
I'm an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Texas. I've been in practice for nearly 15 years and have been doing EMDR therapy for 13 of those. I specialize in helping teens and adults process trauma of all kinds. My goal is to help my clients gain the skills needed to process and adapt to traumatic memories, and then allow them to do so in a safe environment. I teach them how to build boundaries and follow through, and to treat themselves with self-compassion rather than judgment and harsh expectations.
Trauma doesn’t have to ruin (or run) your life. If you’re hurting, please know I’d be happy to help in any way I can.

I’ve known since I was nine years old that I wanted to become a therapist—it has always been my lifelong dream. My journey began in a community mental health facility, where I gained valuable experience working with major mental illnesses and teaching practical skills. That foundation shaped me into a therapist who empowers clients to help themselves and build stronger, more meaningful connections with others.
Outside of my work, I enjoy gardening, crocheting, camping, and spending time with my pug. I’m also an avid reader, especially of romance novels. Family is a big part of who I am—I’m a wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, and proud parent of both boys and girls, including twins. These diverse life experiences give me a unique perspective and help me relate to clients on many different levels.

Are you searching for someone to listen to you? For many years, I have heard over and over, “Thank you, I have just been wanting someone to listen to me”. I have always felt led to just sit and listen when someone opens up and spills their heart to me.
I have been a licensed social worker for 30 + years, working with clients in healthcare settings and case management. In addition to being a licensed social worker, I completed graduate school and met a lifelong dream of becoming a licensed professional counselor in 2022. I have worked with the senior population in skilled, nursing, private homes, and inpatient physical rehabilitation for 30 years. This brought me to not only work directly with the senior population, but also their family members to provide the love and support needed to get through life's challenges and circumstances. I have gained experience in helping work through stress, anxiety, depression, family dynamics, job loss, marital problems, physical limitations, and/or disabilities, as well as long-term life-altering situations. I am a wife, a mother of two young adult children, a mother-in-law, a grandmother, a sister, and a daughter myself. My own life experiences help to ground me while supporting others.
I understand and know how family dynamics affect an individual’s physical and emotional health in all aspects of their daily lives. I am trauma-informed. I understand and realize that traumatic experiences (no matter when they happened in life) can follow us down the road when we don't even realize it is happening. Once a client understands how trauma affects their brain function and daily life, they can realize the power they have to make positive change in their lives, where before they may have felt stuck or powerless.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with individuals across all stages of life, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
I specialize in helping others with anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem/self-confidence, imposter syndrome, career exploration, and relationship issues.
Seeking help is a huge first step, and I do my absolute best to make the entire therapeutic process as smooth and easygoing as possible by embracing a positive, eclectic, and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
I also understand that choosing a therapist can feel quite daunting and difficult, so I gladly provide a preliminary cost-free consultation, where we can discuss your concerns and explore our potential collaboration together.
Please Note: I am currently not accepting Oscar insurance.

I have also worked with parents a lot of children who have a special need. My training in depression and anxiety seems to help benefit most clients in many ways. My daily pray is that I say what I need to say, to whom I need to say it, when I need to say it in the most helpful way.
Greetings! I am Amina Omar Ali and I congratulate you for making this important step in changing your life for the better. It can be difficult decision and the work that follows in not easy, but with an open mind, and practice, you will get where you want to be.
My job is to facilitate your journey into self discovery, and help you find and attain what you want. Therapy is about you, and the work you do will determine the success you have in therapy.
Let me assure you that coming to therapy does not mean you are "crazy" or weak. It takes courage and strength to open yourself up to a stranger and do that deep dive into your vulnerable self.
Be proud you have made this choice, and recognize that with a little help you can change your life.
“Pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in our pains. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world.” — C.S. Lewis.
I believe we all have the ability to heal and transform our lives - and we all have a unique path to get us there. Let’s discover your deepest truths together so that your heart and mind may be renewed and you might live more abundantly. If you're willing to do some work, I will work hard to create a safe space for you, and we can collaborate on this journey together. I have Master's degrees in Counseling and Religious Studies, so I can incorporate spiritual guidance into counseling if you would like(completely optional). I also have training in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and worked previously as a hospital chaplain which was an incredible experience. However, I'm proud to say that I have formed wonderful relationships with clients of all bends, and even of no particular faith background. I have respect for all faiths and traditions as long as they are life-giving.

Do you ever feel stuck, disconnected, or just not like yourself anymore? Maybe you keep wondering, “Is this really how life is supposed to feel?” Therapy can be a space where you finally get to breathe, be honest, and feel heard without judgment. Together, we’ll work through what’s weighing on you and help you move toward feeling more in control of your life, confident, and at peace. I support clients with things like anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, grief, breakups, chronic illness, parenting stress, postpartum challenges, divorce, work stress, financial worries, trauma, and more.
What if you could write the story of your life? The truth is, you can, you are in control of your destiny, you are writing the story of your life right now. The choices you make are directly related to the thoughts you have. That puts you in control, you have the ability to change the way you think, and when you change the way you think, you change your life.
The thoughts you are thinking right now are writing the story of your life. If you are not happy with the story, you can reprogram your thoughts to change the story and write it the way you want it to go. Together you and I can work to manage the challenges you are facing today.
Therapy may seem scary or even overwhelming, but with the right partner you really can change your life. Together we will explore how your thoughts and the dimensions of wellness are affecting your life and find a path to change the story of your life, to one of positive emotional and mental well-being.
