Counseling is a second career for me. I am a Desert Storm era Navy veteran and spent twenty years in the business world as a successful sales manager. I have over thirty years of personal recovery experience and bring many tools to our sessions. I have done my own personal grief, anger, trauma and family of origin work so I can hold space for whatever your healing and recovery may require. I show up as my authentic self and tend to be very direct. If you are willing to do the painful work that healing requires, I may be a good choice as therapist for you. With both my own personal struggles with addiction and mental health challenges, I have empathy and respect for those willing to do the hard work of making changes.

I am an empathetic and intuitive person who cares very much about the lives of others. I have been in my own therapy for some time as I would not ask others to do work I can’t do myself. I engage with each client with a pace and style that matches the diagnosis, history, and emotional state they are experiencing. I am very open to feedback back and If you disagree with me on something I encourage a safe relationship where sharing that feels ok.

My name is Noe Rios and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I received my Masters in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling with a focus on mental health, and have been practicing 9 years with combined experience in mental health and substance use problems. My therapeutic style is direct and pragmatic, a blend of CBT and solution-focused work – it emphasizes building insight into how life circumstances may be contributing to the way that you’re feeling, taking a practical approach to solving problems, and exploring alternate perspectives that may be more helpful. I believe faith can also play a significant role in healing and moving forward, but I leave this to the discretion of the client.

My experience ranges from working with the chronically mentally ill in public mental health, private practice, inpatient psychiatric, diagnostics/assessment, crisis intervention, anger management, and employee assistance. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey built on trust, authenticity, and compassion. As a therapist, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where children, teens, and families feel safe to express themselves, explore difficult emotions, and develop meaningful tools for growth. My goal is to meet each client where they are while recognizing and honoring their unique strengths, experiences, and resilience. I view behavior as communication and believe that every emotion and response serves a purpose. Rather than focusing solely on eliminating behaviors or symptoms, I work to understand the underlying experiences, unmet needs, and patterns contributing to a client's challenges. Together, we identify practical strategies that promote emotional regulation, healthier relationships, increased confidence, and lasting change. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families experiencing grief and loss, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, attachment concerns, family conflict, life transitions, and challenges at school or home. I recognize that growth often occurs when the entire family feels supported, so I value collaborating with parents and caregivers throughout the therapeutic process. By providing education, encouragement, and practical tools, I help families strengthen communication, deepen connection, and navigate challenges together. My therapeutic style is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe every individual has the capacity for healing and growth when they feel seen, heard, and understood. Whether supporting a child learning to manage big emotions, a teenager navigating identity or anxiety, or a family adjusting to significant life changes, I am committed to providing evidence-based care tailored to each client's unique needs. My hope is that every client leaves therapy with greater resilience, deeper self-understanding, stronger relationships, and the confidence to navigate life's challenges long after our work together has ended.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or emotionally exhausted, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. You may know you need support but feel unsure of what to say or where to begin. That’s okay. Therapy is a place where you can start exactly where you are. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. Healing doesn’t require perfection—it requires honesty, patience, and compassion. People and their stories have always deeply mattered to me. From an early age, I felt drawn to listening and understanding others, which naturally led me into this work. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. I strongly believe that progress is still progress, no matter how small, and every step forward deserves to be acknowledged. I am a Licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. Clients often describe me as empathetic, patient, and kind. I strive to meet you where you are and walk alongside you at a pace that feels right for you. You are the expert of your life—my role is to support, guide, and empower you. My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying unhelpful patterns, building coping skills, and creating meaningful change. Therapy is a collaborative process, and together we will work toward clarity, healing, and growth. As C.S. Lewis said, “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” Your experiences are valid, your feelings matter, and your story deserves care. I would be honored to be part of your healing journey.l

Have you ever wondered, “What is wrong with me?” If your mirror can talk back to you, what would it say? What good things or bad things will it tell you and how would you respond? I will be the mirror that will help you learn more about yourself and will give you an honest reflection so that you can make the best decisions for yourself. I tailor my counseling approach based on your specific needs and goals. I combine a person-centered counseling approach with brief solution-focused therapy to give you the best outcome. I have a master’s in counseling with a dual emphasis on both School Counseling and Agency Counseling. I have over 17 years of counseling experience with all age groups, diverse populations, and subject matter. You don’t have to do life alone. Bring me your challenges, your struggles, and your troubles, and let’s work together to resolve them. I also provide Christian counseling: God never promised us a life free from struggles, pain, or sorrows (John 16.33); however, He did promise that He will never leave us (Matthew 28.20). Life is not meant to be lived alone: It’s not a good thing (Genesis 2.18). I am here to support you and to remind you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139.13-14), and you are loved (John 3.16). Nothing is impossible with God (Matthew 19.26). Whatever you are struggling with, whatever troubles you, know that God has a purpose for your life (Romans 8.28). As a Christian counselor, you can trust that my counseling approach will not stray from the teaching of the Bible. May God guide us as we work together to understand His purpose and His plan for the challenges in your life.

Hello! I am Wendy Theriot,MA,LPC. I spent years specializing in trauma-focused therapy and have worked in the private practice setting as well as treatment facility setting. This year I have taken a break from in-person therapy where I specialized in EMDR to more of a person-centered approach addressing men’s issues, as well as working mainly with with First Responders, Veterans, Active Duty personnel as well as couples. I guide the client in the direction of healing or self actualization incorporating Cognitive Processing , Jungian therapy and Attachment-Based therapy. “Jungian”refers to the psychological doctrines and analytical therapy developed by the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung. It helps to uncover hidden forces driving human behavior by integrating the conscious and unconscious mind, ultimately striving toward authenticity and personal wholeness. Attachment Based therapy is a form of counseling that explores how your early childhood relationships with primary caregivers shape your adult attachment style. In addition to individual therapy I have worked with couples using the Gottman Method. It is a structured, research-based approach to couples therapy developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. It aims to disarm conflicting verbal communication, increase intimacy and respect, and remove barriers. If you are seeing me through an EAP or have a limited amount of therapy sessions I also do Solution Focused Brief Therapy where we don’t look at the past as much as we look towards the future and what you want to envision. With my help you can get there.

Hi! I’m Jimmy Secoy, a Licensed Professional Counselor. My work is grounded in the belief that people aren’t meant to go through life’s hardest moments alone. Therapy, to me, is a place where you get to slow down, breathe, and be fully heard — without judgment and without pressure to “have it all together.” Clients often describe me as accepting, approachable, and empathetic. I bring a calm presence to the room, but I’m also not afraid to gently challenge patterns that keep you stuck. My goal is to help you understand yourself more clearly and build the tools you need to move forward with confidence.

If you’re tired of overthinking every move, replaying old wounds, or feeling like anxiety, anger, or shame is making life more difficult — you’re in the right place. I can help. You’ve been working so hard just to feel okay — and you deserve more than okay. You deserve more than to just survive. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in anxiety, trauma, and shame. I help people cut through the noise, understand what’s actually driving their patterns, and build real tools to change them. No fluff, just honest, practical therapy that gets you somewhere. I am genuine and relatable to everyone I meet, down to earth with a sense of humor. Twenty-two years of marriage and raising six kids has allowed me to see real life up close, and I bring that experience into every session. I’m not here to just listen and nod. I’m here to help you figure out what’s getting in the way and give you tools to overcome it.
