New to Grow
I am a family therapist who works with individuals using a family/relational model. We will walk through how your past has shaped who you are today and focus on the things that you can control in order for you be be the person you want to be tomorrow. Change is slow, and I will be there every step of the way, cheering you on, pointing out the progress you have made, even when you do not feel as if you are making any.
Our first session, just like other's will be a back and forth conversation. I want to know who you are as a person. Through our conversation, I will gradually point out patterns and observations that you may not see for yourself, slowly guiding change and self acceptance.
I have a warm and inviting personality. I am very open minded and noting you say can scare me away. I am here to support you through anything you may be going through.
Clients who are ready for change often enter therapy with openness, curiosity, and a willingness to explore uncomfortable truths. They recognize patterns that no longer serve them and feel motivated to grow, change, and step away from unhealthy patterns, even if they’re unsure how.
