Starting therapy can feel both exciting and a little nerve-wracking — and that’s completely normal. Our first session is all about getting to know you and creating a comfortable, safe space where you can begin sharing your story at your own pace. We’ll start by talking about what brings you to therapy and what you’d like to gain from our work together. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, experiences, and what’s been challenging for you lately. There’s no pressure to share everything right away — we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. This session also gives you a chance to ask questions, learn about my approach, and discuss what therapy might look like going forward. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and outline a plan tailored to your needs. My focus is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and supported as we begin this journey.
