Are you seeking support, healing, and personal growth? You’ve come to the right place. I am Stacey Harrell, a dedicated and compassionate therapist committed to helping you navigate life’s challenges and find your way to a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have 15 years of experience in the field of therapy. My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, understanding, and evidence-based techniques. I believe that every woman is special and different, and I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet your specific needs and goals. I specialize in working with high functioning women who are experiencing anxiety, depression and other women issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, the client can expect to share a brief introduction, discuss their reasons for seeking therapy, share some personal history, and help the therapist to develop counseling goals. Therapist will also explain the counseling process, which is usually individualized and personalized to the client and to address any concerns the client may have. The main goal is to build rapport and a sense of comfort so the client will be comfortable sharing in the upcoming sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Some of my biggest strengths as a therapist is empathetic listening: I truly listen and try to understand. I create a safe environment and space where women can express their thoughts without reservation. I believe being heard and validated is the foundation of effective therapy. I use a holistic approach to recognize that mental, emotional and physical wellbeing are interconnected. I work with women to address not just their immediate concerns but also underlying factors that may be contributing to challenges. I will give each individual therapy that is unique, and I understand that there is no one-size fits all approach to therapy. I believe in empowering women to take an active role in their wellbeing and help boost their confidence.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my sessions to help understand the client's issues and identify thought patterns and behaviors and emotions. I use CBT to set specific treatment goals. To help the client understand the connection between their thoughts and feelings, to recognize their challenging or negative thought patterns to help change them to more positive and realistic.
