I have over 10 years of experience as a mental health therapist. I primarily work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and family or relationship difficulties. Many clients seek treatment because they feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or unsure how to manage the challenges they’re facing.
My approach is structured and evidence‑based. I focus on helping you understand the factors contributing to your symptoms and developing clear, practical strategies for change. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness‑based interventions to support emotional regulation, improve coping skills, and build healthier behavioral patterns.
Accountability is an important part of the work we do together. I will support you, but I will also provide direct feedback and encourage consistent follow‑through on the changes you identify as important. Progress requires active participation, and I work best with clients who are ready to take responsibility for implementing new skills and strategies between sessions.
My Style is:
Straightforward – Honest and clear, but always respectful.
Practical – Tools that work in everyday life, not just theory.
Explorative – Space to reflect deeply in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
Encouraging – Support that helps you feel capable, validated, and motivated to change.
Accountability-focused – Growth comes from owning your choices and committing to real change.
This works well if you are willing to:
• Look at your own patterns and find areas for growth and change
• Practice new skills between our sessions and create a plan for change
• Stay open to feedback, exploration, and trying approaches that fit your unique needs

From there, I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work, building a strong foundation to guide, support, and empower those I work with.
My practice is grounded in a client-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed philosophy. I view therapy as a partnership, with your voice and perspective at the center. Hi, I’m Neesha, a virtual-only licensed therapist offering short-term online counseling (2–12 sessions) to adults in Tennessee and Washington, DC. Hi ~ I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri and Tennessee; I have been licensed for 13+ years. My focus is to help people learn how to manage anxiety and depression so as to live a more fulfilling life. I will provide resources, teach skills, and provide encouragement to help make changes. We will collaborate to make a plan for long term success.
I love partnering with people on their journey to greatness. I use a strengths-based approach to help my clients see the choices that are always at their disposal to unlearn past harmful messaging or combat unrelenting present symptoms. As a Black woman, I always integrate the importance of diversity. Playing small to blend in doesn't serve anyone. My work also focuses on boundaries, challenging thoughts, and improving communication skills. I integrate role plays, affirmations, accountability, and direct introspection exercises to aid clients in quieting the noise of societal norms to embrace their true joy. All sessions are client-focused, I don't come with my own agenda. I'm excited to help you live life with confidence on your own terms. I look forward to working with you.

As a therapist and thought partner, I bring warmth, honesty, and curiosity into our work. I believe therapy is a place where you can take off the mask, slow down, and reconnect with who you are outside of expectations and pressure. My role is to walk alongside you as you process the past, make sense of where you are now, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Hi there! It's so nice to virtually meet you - I don't tend to enjoy small talk and I don't find credentials to be all that interesting (LCSW in TN), so I am going to tell you some facts about myself. I believe the most important part of therapy is the therapeutic relationship, so if we have similar interests and/or values, we may be a good fit. Here we go:
- I am an unapologetic Swiftie
- I hand out book recommendations and quotes like they're candy
- I have a deep passion for travel - and especially get a kick out of doing it on a budget
- I am a bit of a personal finance nerd, to the point of getting a certificate in Financial Social Work (that's right- that means we can work on your finances together!)
- I am a big fan of social justice and human rights
- I have two dogs - a chocolate lab and a boxer
- I enjoy getting outdoors and into the backcountry
- I always get my daily dose of reality tv
Here is one of my favorite quotes: "These are the words I want on my gravestone: that I was a helper, and that I danced." Anne Lamott

My role is to help you identify the chapters where you feel stuck and provide the tools to draft a more resilient path forward. By focusing on your existing strengths, we work together to turn insights into immediate, manageable actions. I believe that while we cannot change the beginning of our stories, we have full authority over the direction of the next page. I am a licensed clinician with years of experience specializing in working with clients with numerous backgrounds and adolescents.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience helping clients. I am a proud ‘Appalachian-American’ that was born and raised deep in the mountains of Upper Northeast TN.
Although many of my personal life experiences are about what one would expect of someone growing up in East TN (cue BBQ ribs & banjo music🪕), my work experience have been vastly different. I have been quite fortunate to get to work with individuals from quite literally all walks of life. I have worked with clients from preschool to post retirement. Thanks to the internet I have been able to help individuals across the globe, from various cultures, diverse religious beliefs, race, gender spectrums, socioeconomic status, etc. One thing I have learned in my work with all of these individuals is that although each of their stories are unique, ultimately, they all seek/want the same core things. I think much of my success in working with a wide assortment of clients is that I attempt to be open, understanding, curious and cultivate a nonjudgmental atmosphere for our sessions. The working relationship between a therapist and their client is a key factor to client’s achieving treatment goals.
Hello, my name is LaTisha, professionally known as "TishatheTherapist." As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Service Provider (LPC, MHSP), I am committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental space for women to explore their emotions. As a women's mental health specialist, my practice is founded on three core principles: a secure environment for sharing personal experiences, practical education for empowerment, and compassionate support to navigate challenging situations.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Supervisor with over two decades of experience, I maintain a humble approach when encountering novel, unfamiliar, or unpredictable situations. This humility stems from the understanding that my purpose is to serve and share knowledge and expertise. My life mission is to make a positive impact on individuals’ lives and the community through advocacy and empowerment.
Hi, I'm Anna. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I believe therapy should feel like a deep breath--not another thing to brace yourself for. In my office, you can exhale. You don't have to perform or polish anything up. I offer a space that's calm, honest, and rooted in trust--where it's okay to be messy, uncertain, angry, shut down, or just plain exhausted. You have a story and I'm here to help you heal.
When I'm not in session, you'll usually find me making jewelry, lost in a craft project, or hanging out with my two cats (who definitely run the house) or chilling in nature. If you're looking for a grounded, real therapist to walk with you through the hard stuff--I'd be honored to work with you.

It's a valuable partnership in which I hope to assist in finding a way to more fulfilling relationships, more satisfaction and greater self esteem.
Mrs. Whiteside has worked in various mental health settings maintaining her unwavering focus on mothers and small children. As a perinatal psychotherapist, Mrs. Whiteside works with mothers and/or families who are struggling with perinatal mental illness during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Mrs. Whiteside is currently a social work doctoral student at The University of Louisville researching the impact of perinatal mood disorders, as evidence indicates that depression and other mood disorders in parents can have a harmful impact on children, including cognitive difficulties, insecure attachment, and behavioral problems.
