Hi, I'm Elnora Peters, a licensed therapist with a passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges with clarity, self-compassion, and emotional resilience. I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, major life transitions, and interpersonal issues. I help whether it's navigating a breakup, career change, or patterns that no longer serve you. My approach is grounded, supportive, and insight-driven. Together, we will explore the roots of your challenges, build emotional and mental awareness, and develop practical tools to help you feel more balanced, connected and empowered in your daily life. I believe that healing happens in safe, non-judgemental spaces. I am honored to walk alongside you as you find your path forward.
In our first session, we'll focus on building a comfortable, supportive space where you can share what's bringing you to therapy. I'll ask a few questions to better understand your goals, challenges, and history, and we'll talk about what working together might look like. There's no pressure to have all of the answers. This is your space to begin healing at your own pace.
I have a great blend of deep empathy, grounded presence, and intuitive insight that instantly puts my clients at ease. I don't just listen, I hold space. My clients feel seen, not just heard. I help them slow down, reflect and reconnect with their truth. I am culturally attuned, spiritually aware, and trauma-informed that brings a calm strength to interactions. I believe in my client's capacity to heal. Client's often say that they feel deeply seen in our work, supported without pressure and guided with care.
My clients tend to be high-functioning but deeply tired. They're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or complex relationship dynamics that leave them feeling unseen, overwhelmed, or stuck. Many are the "strong ones" in their families or friend groups. They are used to carrying the weight, but ready for a space that's just for them. If you're someone who's introspective, sensitive, and yearning for change and doesn't know where to start; you are not alone. In our work together, I'll help you slow down, tune into your needs, and find clarity in the chaos. You'll learn to set boundaries, process old patterns and reconnect with your voice and power. I provide a space where you don't have to perform or hold it all together. Just come as you are and let the healing begin.
CBT has proven to be one of the most effective therapeutic methodologies. Due to focusing on both cognitive processing and behavioral changes, I have found that it is an impactful method to help clients see changes in their lives.
I have used Attachment-based treatment to help clients understand how they show up in their interpersonal and romantic relationships. This treatment brings awareness of a client's specific attachment and how it impacts their ability to form and maintain healthy relationships.
Existential treatment creates a safe-space for clients to explore the bigger thoughts and emotions related to the meaning of life and their role within it.
