Hi, I am a Licensed Clinical social worker and I have been in practice five years. I specialize in CBT, Mindfulness, EMDR, and couples counseling. I believe in meeting each individual where they are, and designing a treatment plan based on the specific needs of each patient. I am able to assist with a range of mental health issues and disorders. Such as, ADHD, anxiety, personality disorder, autism, life coaching/empowerment, couples counseling. trauma/abuse, interpersonal issues, women's issues, and LGBTQ+.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, a client should expect to be meet with a safe and comfortable space to discuss treatment options for their specific mental health needs.

I am naturally empathetic and compassionate, and these are two traits that have allowed me to help many individuals. I believe in practicing active listening and mindfulness in order to understand a patient’s needs and goals. It is my mission to ensure that my patients are treated with respect, dignity, and non-judgment. I provide my patients with an stress-free, relaxing atmosphere to allow them to feel free and open to be transparent with their treatment needs and goals.

I am comfortable serving all groups and ages of people; however, I am especially experienced working with adults, young adults, and couples. I enjoy working with diverse groups and having a variety of people.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered therapy is a humanistic approach that focuses on providing a patient with a safe and supportive environment to process and explore their thoughts, feelings, and life experiences. With support and guidance from a therapists, a patient will become empowered to make positive changes to enrich their quality of life. The therapist will example key principles to provide empathy, unconditional positive regard, listen actively, and provide client-centered care that is individualized to meet the specific needs of each patient.

EMDR

EMDR is a psychotherapy used to help individuals process and heal from trauma and emotional distress. This method may be utilized to help with PTSD, trauma, and anxiety. I use this approach based on the individual being treated and their specific needs.
