Hi, I'm Trish Pierzga, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with 6+ years of experience. I know that life can be challenging and difficult. I also know that it is easy to feel stuck. My goal for each session is help you feel comfortable so you can explore and move past those challenges.
When I think about what I look for in a therapist myself, it is someone who listens, is not afraid to challenge me, and helps guide me through life's transitions. I believe I bring this style to my own clients. I love what I do and I bring this excitement into my sessions because I want people to feel safe and grow in their confidence to overcome the obstacles they are facing.

Hi there! I have been working in the mental health field since graduating with my Master’s in Counseling in 2015. I began my counseling career providing evidence-based family therapies for several years before transitioning to individual counseling. I take an eclectic approach to therapy because everyone is unique and deserves treatment that is tailored to their individual needs. I love connecting with my clients and helping them develop a more compassionate view of themselves, recognize their strengths, and build confidence in their ability to live the life they want. If you think we may be a good fit, I’d love for you to reach out so we can connect.
Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania, with a Master’s degree from the University of Louisville and 7 years of clinical practice. In addition, I bring 14 years of valuable experience working with patients in medical settings. If you're looking for a partner in your treatment who will meet you where you are and make space for the messy parts, I may be a good fit for you! We'll focus on real-life, practical applications of struggles and breakthroughs. We'll always be working toward one of your identified goals so that therapy does not feel aimless or like a waste of resources. Perhaps you're seeking therapy services because you want more insight into relationships, circumstances, or your own mind. However you got here, there is space for you and all of your questions. My approach is to lead with compassion and curiosity. You'll sense my sincere care for my clients but you'll also learn that I won't shy away from tough subjects.
For now, you've already taken the first step towards growth and that is something to celebrate!
I'm someone who tries to be as down to earth as I can be. My clients know that I'm "just a dude" who is trying his best to navigate life just like everyone else, and I bring this approach with me into the counseling space. I pride myself on being humble, understanding, and compassionate, and I try my hardest to make sure that my clients know they are valued.
Because of this, I try to be as flexible as I can be in my practice. I work nearly every evening and on weekends, because I value meeting people where they are and where they need me.
I work with populations of individuals struggling with addiction, bipolar, sexual identity concerns, depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, and victims of trauma, among other diagnoses.
I am a psychologist and licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania. My counseling style is laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate, with a good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you maximize them to overcome obstacles. All behavior is purposeful. This means that we never do anything for no reason. Even when our behavior appears confusing or counterproductive to our values, our behavior has meaning and purpose. Therapy is a setting where we can gain insight about the origins of our perceptions, thinking and behavior. With clearer understanding, we are better equipped to identify factors within our control and consider alternative responses to our conditions. We gain awareness of the needs that are being met by potentially self-defeating thinking or behaviors and have a special opportunity to practice new thinking in the safety of therapy.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 22 years of experience. I really enjoy helping people navigate the challenges of changing and maintaining roles in life---exploring young adulthood, how to maintain your own identity as a parent, how to create a life worth living in whatever stage you are in. I feel like I am very open, non judgmental, eager to learn, empathetic and understanding. And funny!
I am a gender affirming therapist. I am an ally in the LGB and TNC Communities, always keeping my eyes and ears open to find ways to improve my allyship. The current political climate is traumatic and oppressive to members of these Communities. I want to create space in session to discuss how that may be affecting you or retraumatizing you. I am also a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. I am comfortable providing documentation for medical transition.
I am very comfortable with working with those who use self harm as a coping mechanism--there is no shame or expectation you must stop when you engage in therapy. I'm fine with talking about suicide, whether it's your own personal experience of trying to find a life worth living, your experience of supporting someone who lives with suicide in their life, or grief around experiences of suicide. I do not believe inpatient hospitalization is an effective treatment for those experiencing suicide and do everything I can as a therapist to keep people out of the hospital when in suicidal crisis.
I do believe therapy is political. I am social justice focused, continuing to do my own anti-racism work. I believe in Health at Every Size. I believe that our environment and what we experience in life has a profound affect on us and must be discussed in therapy.
Hi, I'm a licensed clinical social worker based in northeast Pennsylvania with over 25 years experience as a psychotherapist. I received my bachelors degree from Swarthmore College, my masters degree from Columbia University School of Social Work and I completed a post graduate fellowship in psychiatry at the Yale University Psychiatric Institute. Over the years I've worked with clients of all ages struggling with a wide variety of disorders. Primarily, I help adults 18+ who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and alcohol use disorders. I view our work together as a collaborative venture where I help you to identify troublesome thoughts and behaviors and replace them with positive ones. We will accomplish this utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and other forms of therapy as needed.
Do you feel stressed in your every day life? Is it difficult to manage feelings of anxiety or depression. I provide a supportive, nurturing environment to explore thoughts and feelings that may be bringing you down and collaborate with you to find healthy ways to cope. I use a strength based approach, cognitive behavioral techniques, and mindfulness. I will meet you where you are and we can work together to find an approach that will work for you. You will find a safe space to work through challenging, difficult issues. I am skilled at helping those with anxiety, depression, ADHD, parenting issues, relationship and change of life stress. Greetings! My name is Brian. I am a licensed counselor in Pennsylvania. I have worked with both long-term and short-term clients in residential treatment and outpatient settings since 2010. My straightforward approach includes aspects of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution-Focused Counseling. I encourage clients to think deeply about the underlying feelings that drive their actions to release pain.
Thank you for taking the time to read my intro.
I can help you navigate through change: job loss, grief, family estrangement, divorce/breakup, gender exploration, working on anxious attachment or people-pleasing. Together, we can work to integrate trauma, depression, anxiety and other symptoms into a life that feels worthwhile, however you define that. There's definitely more than one path for healing, and what can look like stability to some can be uncomfortably stifling to others. I will utilize a combination of narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, DBT/CBT skills (very optional!), feminist therapy and insight-oriented therapy to help you find your way forward.
My biggest rule in therapy is "no trauma shaming." That is, if you are sharing your trauma and include a qualifier such as "other people have it worse," I will remind you that your trauma is valid! Surviving trauma is difficult enough; shame is a log lying on the train tracks. We can move it, and move forward, with the correct equipment.

Hello. I am a licenced clinical social worker who loves life and working with others. Hi there! I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania, and I have worked in the mental health field since 2005. I earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I have worked with a wide range of clients from adolescents and adults in both individual and group settings. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with PTSD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and communication difficulties.
I am Jeff, like it says on this page. I love games of all kinds and dogs of all kinds. I sit crosslegged on chairs when I can and enjoy kneading dough for baking. I'm verbose and use words as if they were legos.
I have worked in hospitals, community mental health centers, a retirement home and now I am content to be in private practice. I have experience with crises, sudden life transitions and choices that seem impossible to come back from.
I'm familiar with being awkward and have experience being the outcast. I became a therapist because there were many times earlier in my life where I needed support and guidance from someone who could understand me without being judgmental or controlling. Being a strange enough person already, I never quite found someone empathetic towards my situation until meeting my first therapist - a literally life changing experience.
Even with almost 10 years as a therapist, I'm certainly not claiming that I'll change your life as a guarantee just because of who I am - a therapist helped me see that so much change came about by my own efforts over the years, change that you can also be empowered to pursue. I am the sort of person that will work in your interest, work for your health when it feels like illness gets in the way. If you happen to be someone or know someone that often puts others before themselves at the expense of wants and needs for themselves, then you may know me pretty well already.
Transparently, I am not using AI in any form to write anything you read here about myself or my methods.
