A few moments to introduce myself. Professionally I am known as
I. Barry Bell, Ph.D. I am a 73-year-old, male, Caucasian Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice for 39 years. I have worked in a variety of settings, in both in-patient psychiatric hospitals and out-patient clinical settings. I have also maintained my own private practice from September 2016 to the present.
Prior to receiving my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1985, I trained extensively as a Modern Dancer for 10 years. During these years I became deeply involved in emerging positive psychologies and Eastern/Buddhist/Taoist studies. This was the beginning of the interface between what is now referred to as Mindfulness based approaches to psychotherapy and Eastern philosophies, especially Buddhist. Mindfulness approaches to psychotherapy are now at the forefront of evidence-based interventions.
I have spent more than the past 20 years studying and practicing the interface between psychotherapy and personal psychological growth. Over the years I have integrated various theoretical approaches, including depth psychodynamic theories. I will be happy to discuss my approach with you further should you choose to contact me to consider engaging in psychotherapeutic work with me.

I have always felt a deep connection to Human Services since the day my siblings came to me for advice on whatever problems they had. That personal experience fueled my pursuit of a career in counseling and therapy. My credentials include a Master's in Human Services, licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, National Certified Counselor certification, a Bachelor of Metaphysical Science, and Ph.D. candidate with an emphasis on relationship dynamics. For over 40 years, I have been blessed with opportunities to serve as a clinician across diverse settings, including Child Welfare, Criminal Justice, Education, the Corporate Sector, and Military Family Life (all branches). I pride myself in being an instrument that provides a genuine, safe space for clients to embrace who they are while welcoming change, operating with the core belief that “everything starts and ends with the individual". My name is Christen Yassin and I have been in this field for 18 years. I have a wealth of experience and love to help people become their best selves. I am a great listener. A great listener requires you to not only listen but to be able to output a great solution to the problem and to be highly empathetic to the issue; that's one of my strengths. I also have a lot of experience in family therapy and working with children and young adults.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate stress, trauma, life transitions, and emotional burnout. My approach is warm, practical, and goal-focused and I work to create a safe space while also helping you develop real tools you can use in everyday life. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples.
My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy.
I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility.

Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way, build practical tools you can use in real life, and create space for you to feel understood without judgment.
I draw from evidence‑based practices, but just as importantly, I bring compassion, curiosity, and respect for your unique story. Whether you’re working on managing emotions, improving focus, building confidence, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Hi there!
Thank you for taking the time to look at my page! Finding the right therapist can be a daunting process. So, my hope is that I can do my part to help you to feel comfortable...remove some of the awkwardness from the process...and ideally, have you feeling motivated and excited about starting your therapeutic journey!
A little bit about me and how I approach the therapeutic process...
Without question, one of the comments I hear most from clients is that they're always surprised by how much they actually ENJOY our sessions —even when working through some of their most difficult challenges. I jokingly tell people that my "superpower" is that I'm really good at making therapy feel like a great conversation between two people - and one of those people just HAPPENS to be a therapist who helps you work through the things that are keeping you stuck. Therapy should make you feel as though you are getting something out of this...and that you are growing, healing - and thriving because of it.
I've been fortunate to be able to help people from all walks of life and what I have learned is that regardless of background, culture, socioeconomic status, or life circumstances, people want many of the same things—meaningful relationships, resilience through life's challenges, and a sense of purpose/fulfillment.
So, whether you're facing personal challenges, professional pressures, or both, my goal is to help you get on the path where you can finally feel like you not only have a handle on this thing called Life - but that you are THRIVING in it!

Hi! I’m Jess! I’ve been a licensed counselor for almost 20 years, and I’ve truly loved the opportunity to walk alongside so many different people through the various times of life.
One of my favorite parts of the work is getting to know someone in those early conversations. I genuinely enjoy hearing your story, learning what has brought you to therapy, and understanding the experiences that have shaped you. There’s something meaningful about getting to know the person behind the struggles they’re bringing into the room.
I especially enjoy working with people who are ready to explore the possibility of change. You don’t have to have everything figured out, and you certainly don’t have to know exactly what needs to change before you begin. Sometimes it’s enough to recognize that something isn’t working the way you hoped and to feel ready—or even just curious—to see what might be different.
My hope is that therapy can become a place where you feel understood, supported, and encouraged as you begin to imagine what life could look like when things start to shift.
In Therapy we work as a team. You will feel yourself grow toward living your life free of intrusive thinking . I’m a clinical psychologist working with kids and adults. I respect my clients unique experiences and goals. I will provide compassionate counseling and keen observation, while we work in collaboration by finding solutions to challenges blocking you from living your life fully. You’ll move on from baffling situations, negative relationships, and ineffective coping. In the process, you'll learn to use therapy tools to overcome what maybe holding you back from experiencing your goals.
My clients often have challenges such as anxiety, depression, and grief. I've experiences working with people bothered by anxiety, anorexia, phobias, panic attacks, OCD behavior, and intrusive thoughts. Addiction and recovery are areas of my expertise.
I'm a school psychologist who knows about learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, developmental delays, affect of education.
Occasionally life challenges meet us at a particularly vulnerable time, and I work with people to adjust to life’s changes: grief, job loss, and alcohol and drug dependents and their family.
I'm an artist and a trained art therapist. I found, art making often speaks with more feeling and force than words alone. We will incorporate art if you choose. CBT works in a collaborative manner between the therapist and the client.
Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole self-approach, addressing your needs. I also integrate mindfulness and art to help you develop a stronger relationship with others and most importantly yourself. You have found a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!
I am a veteran of the helping professions, having served since 1982 in some capacity or another, and I still find excitement in the possibility of helping those who need such assistance. I am currently licensed in two states, both North Carolina and Pennsylvania. I find many people respond to my ability to simply listen and that shows that they do not often feel they have been heard and sometimes this is all that is necessary to start the journey to begin healing. Certainly more is often required, and helping people connect with effective treatments whether provided by myself or not is the best help that can be given.
Hi there, I'm Kate. Do you find yourself struggling to manage daily life and relationships because of anxiety, OCD, depression, and/or trauma? Do you often feel alone and that no one understands you or your struggles?
I see you.
My concentration is working with adolescents and adults living with symptoms of trauma, anxiety, OCD, and panic disorder. Treatment is individualized and adapted to each individual client and concern. We will work together using evidenced-based techniques practicing an integrative approach including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness strategies to help you achieve your goals.
My current certifications include Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional-II (CCTP-II). I also have advanced training in the treatment of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and phobias through the use of ERP and CBT (Exposure and Response Prevention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). I am also trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Please note, I am currently working toward certification in EMDR and attend regular consultation.
My goal is for you to learn the skills necessary to work me out of a job. Let's get to work!
Deeply passionate about social justice and facilitating and guiding positive change and development in the lives of others, I am thrilled to connect with you as you begin your journey inward. Healing is truly the risk of showing up for yourself and your resistance to the temptation to go back to unsilenced needs, numbing out, disconnection, and erasure. As a Black, queer, non-binary, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Board Certified Diplomate (BCD) in Clinical Social Work, and Certified Sexuality Educator (CSE) with over 15 years of wide-ranging interdisciplinary experience in healing-centered and trauma-informed clinical practice, research, education, and servant leadership, I look forward to tailoring my approach to meet your needs and help you reach your goals.
