Hi! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Licensed Professional Counselor (English/Russian-speaking) providing teletherapy in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, overthinking, self-doubt, low self-esteem, stress, relationship challenges, and feeling stuck, even when things seem fine on the outside. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or unsure how to move forward. My approach is supportive, practical, and goal-oriented, focused on helping you better understand your patterns and build tools to feel more confident and in control.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll start by getting a clear understanding of what’s bringing you in and what you’d like to work on. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, relevant background, and what you’ve already tried, so we can get a full picture of what’s going on. From there, we’ll begin identifying patterns, setting initial goals, and discussing how we can approach the work in a way that feels manageable and effective for you. You can expect a conversation that is open and supportive, but also structured and focused—we won’t just talk about what’s difficult, we’ll start thinking about how to move forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a space where clients feel genuinely comfortable, understood, and not judged. I take a warm, down-to-earth approach while also helping clients build practical tools they can use in everyday life. I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, overthinking, stress, low self-esteem, depression, relationship challenges, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. I believe therapy should feel supportive and human, while also helping clients gain insight, confidence, and a clearer sense of direction.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally stuck, or constantly overthinking. Many of the people I work with appear high-functioning on the outside but internally struggle with stress, self-doubt, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, or difficulty managing emotions. I especially enjoy working with individuals who want a supportive, nonjudgmental space while also gaining practical tools and insight they can apply in everyday life. My ideal clients are open to self-reflection and motivated to better understand themselves, improve coping skills, and create healthier patterns.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) by focusing on identifying and challenging clients’ negative thought patterns and behaviors. My goal is to help clients change these patterns to improve their emotional regulation and develop effective coping strategies. I often use CBT to treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, and stress by combining cognitive techniques, which address thoughts and beliefs, with behavioral techniques, which address actions and behaviors.

Psychodynamic

I employ psychodynamic therapy to help clients explore their unconscious processes and past experiences to understand and resolve current issues. By creating a safe and supportive environment, I encourage clients to delve into their emotions, childhood memories, and relational patterns. Through this exploration, clients gain insight into how past experiences influence their present behavior and emotions. My goal is to help clients uncover hidden conflicts, develop self-awareness, and foster emotional growth, ultimately leading to lasting change and improved mental health.

Positive Psychology

I use positive therapy to focus on clients’ strengths, virtues, and capacity for growth. I help clients identify and build on their existing positive qualities and achievements, fostering a sense of optimism and resilience. By emphasizing positive emotions, constructive experiences, and meaningful goals, I guide clients toward enhancing their well-being and life satisfaction. This approach involves techniques such as gratitude exercises, strength identification, and the cultivation of positive relationships. My aim is to empower clients to develop a more positive outlook on life and to harness their innate potential for personal growth and happiness.
