My name is Stephanie, and I'm a licensed clinical social worker living in North Carolina. I have been practicing professionally since 2018, and have worked with diverse populations of children, adults, families and couples, in settings that include private practice, school-based, corporate, agency and crisis work. I have extensive experience working with military-involved families, justice-involved individuals and their families, and those who are or have been deeply involved in faith communities. I take a systems-minded approach that looks at all of the layers surrounding an individual and seeks to enhance both nurturing of self and a healthy attachment to layers of community care. My favorite part of being a clinician is having the privilege of witness folks learn and develop their own strengths and truths, and become holistically healthier, more empowered, and more in control of their own lives.

I am committed with assisting women with managing life stressors, postpartum and pregnancy, anxiety, and coping. I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of dedicated practice in mental health, and my mission is to help individuals unlock their fullest potential by creating lasting change in their lives. My background spans a wide range of settings, from community-based work with children and disabled adults to providing therapy in psychiatric hospitals, schools, and private practice. I am dedicated to helping people heal holistically from past traumas, anxiety, depression, anger or relationship challenges. I use a very effective treatment modality called Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help people heal from traumatic memories, negative beliefs about themselves, or past situations in one's life that have caused them emotional pain. In addition, I teach people how to manage their thoughts and emotions using mindfulness, mind/body, meditation practices, and cognitive behavioral methods. For those who are interested in healing their mental health naturally through changing their life style habits, I have training in how proper nutrition, sleep and exercise can help improve one's brain health, and therefore improve their mental health.
Hi, my name is Luz, my pronouns are she/her/hers, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I worked as a teacher for over 15 years before making the journey into a community mental health career. I have experience in mobile crisis response, trauma, forensic mental health concerns.
To explain who I am as a therapist, I reflect back to my role as an educator. In the classroom, there was a movement for the teacher to be less of a “sage on the stage” (teacher-centered approach) and more of a “guide on the side” (student-centered). To me, therapy is a lesson plan for a learning experience. It's a guide to develop what the client needs to learn in order to cope with whatever barriers are showing up in the client's life, whether that barrier is an internal issue, such as self-image, or how to cope with work stress.
My therapeutic perspective is to provide empathetic, non-judgmental, compassionate guidance and support in an atmosphere of respect and safety while allowing clients to be the experts of their lives, much like “a co-pilot, a sous chef, or an assistant manager” of a client-therapist relationship. I use solution-focused elements to help move toward desired goals, cognitive behavioral techniques to challenge unhelpful thoughts, and motivational interviewing to help gain understanding and clarity. Outside of traditional therapy, I enjoy the practices of mindfulness, guided meditation, aromatherapy, and Reiki.
Finding a therapist that's the right fit can be a challenging task, but taking that first step towards a healthier you is worth it. I look forward to working with you to help break down those barriers and make progress in areas that most matter to you.

Welcome! I am Kimberly. I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 14 years of experience providing therapy. Many of us desire a sense of peace, connection, and well-being within ourselves and in our life. Yet life circumstances and even parts of ourselves can prevent us from having these experiences in our day to day lives. Providing a safe and non-judgmental place to explore your struggles and emotional pain is essential to my practice. I feel grateful to be able to support those who desire to grow and heal.
PLEASE NOTE: I work from 8am-3:30pm Mon-Thurs. I do not have late afternoon or evening sessions available.
I’m Aileen Imana, a licensed therapist passionate about helping women and neurodivergent clients heal, grow, and reclaim their power. I provide a supportive space to explore life’s challenges, develop practical coping skills, and connect with your strengths so you can live with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Therapy has always been more than a profession for me—it’s a calling. My path has been shaped by my own healing journey, which taught me that resilience isn’t about never breaking; it’s about learning how to bend without losing yourself. Over the years, I’ve worked with women, creatives, and neurodivergent clients to transform self-doubt into self-trust, pain into purpose, and overwhelm into clarity. I believe in blending evidence-based tools with real-world application, honoring both the science and the soul of healing. My work is rooted in compassion, cultural awareness, and a belief that everyone has the capacity to create a life they don’t just survive, but truly love.
My passion is to work with those who have struggled with the challenges of life; trauma, addiction, relationship issues, mood disorders, grief, attachment, career issues or any stress contributing to anxiety. They may have sought therapy in the past and have become discouraged, for whatever reason. The foundation of therapy is the therapeutic alliance. When one suffers various disorders, life becomes dull and motivation to live according to one's values instead of one's fears is threatened. It is critical that the therapist be attuned to the worldview of the client to facilitate healing, self acceptance and self compassion. Pain is inevitable while suffering is optional.
Welcome! I am a warm, non-judgemental and real person. One of my basic tenants is we, as people, are doing the best we can, and sometimes our conscious or subconscious "plan" to take care of ourselves is just not working anymore. Sometimes we need to develop a new “plan” but that can be difficult and we need help. The relationship with ourselves, family, friends and our community is a pillar to good health and well being. However things get in the way….like trauma, substance use, addiction, depression, anxiety, loneliness, illness, & fear. I want to support your concerns and help you improve your sense of wellbeing.
