New to Grow
I am a compassionate and dedicated mental health therapist serving individuals across the lifespan—from adolescents as young as 6 years old to older adults well into their senior years. My work centers on supporting people who are experiencing challenges in their lives, offering a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space to explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I approach each client with empathy and respect, tailoring therapy to meet their unique needs while empowering them to find strength, resilience, and growth in the midst of life’s difficulties.
The first session is all about getting to know each other and creating a safe, comfortable space for you to share your story. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your goals, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I may ask questions about your background, current challenges, and any important life experiences to better understand your needs. This session also gives you the chance to ask me questions, learn about my approach, and see if therapy feels like a good fit for you. Together, we’ll begin to outline a plan for moving forward at a pace that feels right. My goal is to make you feel supported, respected, and heard from the very beginning.
My approach to therapy is both compassionate and practical. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel supported and understood, while also using evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused strategies, and strengths-based approaches. Each session is tailored to meet your unique needs and goals, helping you gain insight, build coping skills, and find healthier ways to manage challenges. Clients often share that they leave feeling more empowered, resilient, and confident in their ability to create positive change in their lives.
I am best positioned to serve children (6+), adolescents, adults, and older adults who are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, stress, or feelings of being “stuck.” Many of my clients come to therapy seeking a safe and supportive space where they can process difficult emotions, learn healthier coping strategies, and work toward personal growth. I work well with individuals who are motivated to make positive changes in their lives—even if they’re not sure where to begin. My approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and client-centered, making therapy a collaborative process focused on your goals, strengths, and values. Whether you are seeking emotional support, practical coping skills, or guidance through a challenging season of life, I am here to walk alongside you while adding humor to make life a bit lighter.
As a therapist, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while also acknowledging the real-life challenges and obstacles they may face. I support clients in identifying unhelpful thinking patterns, reframing them into more balanced perspectives, and developing practical coping strategies that promote resilience. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and culturally sensitive, empowering clients to build on their own skills and resources as they work toward healing and growth.
