I am someone who spent many years in the business world before finding recovery and figuring out counseling is what I'm supposed to be doing. I believe I don't have the answers for you, you do! I believe it's my job to help you get to the answers. I try real hard not to tell people what to do but will share what my experience has been. I use humor when I can as none of us are getting out here alive so we might as well laugh as to cry.

I help high-functioning adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or constantly “on.” On the outside, things may look fine—career, responsibilities, relationships—but internally, you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, burnout, or self-doubt that won’t turn off.
My clinical background includes training in fast-paced, high-expectation environments where effective, evidence-based care was essential. I use approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based strategies to help you understand patterns, build practical skills, and create meaningful change.
I began my clinical work as a Behavioral Health Officer in the U.S. Army, where I worked in high-stress operational settings. While that experience gave me a strong understanding of pressure, burnout, and performance demands, my work today is focused on helping adults in all walks of life navigate similar challenges.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded—I aim to create a space where you can be yourself while doing real, meaningful work.

I provide individual and couples counseling to adults only. I utilize CBT techniques most often. Hello, my name is Felice Hightower Britt and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Certified Life Coach, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with over 15 years of counseling experience. I received my Masters in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I help individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma and grief. I also work with couples dealing with relationship issues.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally unsteady, or unsure how to move forward — you don’t have to carry that alone.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of North Carolina State University. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and questions of direction or purpose. Many of the people I support feel capable and motivated — yet internally worn down, struggling to feel grounded, present, or confident in themselves.
My primary focus is helping clients stabilize emotionally and mentally — so you feel more anchored, regulated, and clear. From that place of steadiness, we begin to explore how you can grow into the fullest version of yourself, making the most of your strengths, values, and lived experience rather than trying to become someone you’re not.
Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about creating a solid foundation where clarity, confidence, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. For those who find meaning and strength in their Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work together — though spirituality is never required or assumed. You bring what matters to you, and we build from there.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I am committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. With experience working in a psychiatric hospital setting, I’ve supported clients facing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety and depression.

Hi, I’m Bonnie Phillips, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. I provide a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients can better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and build healthier coping skills. My approach is client-centered and integrates CBT, DBT, relational, and compassion-focused techniques to support emotional growth, resilience, and meaningful change.
My passion is to work with those who have struggled with the challenges of life; trauma, addiction, relationship issues, mood disorders, grief, attachment, career issues or any stress contributing to anxiety. They may have sought therapy in the past and have become discouraged, for whatever reason. The foundation of therapy is the therapeutic alliance. When one suffers various disorders, life becomes dull and motivation to live according to one's values instead of one's fears is threatened. It is critical that the therapist be attuned to the worldview of the client to facilitate healing, self acceptance and self compassion. Pain is inevitable while suffering is optional.
I received my Ph.D. in the Counselor Education and Supervision program at the University of Iowa in 2009. I also received a Master of Divinity degree with courses in pastoral care and counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1995. I have approximately 25 years of counseling-related work experience in a variety of settings (college, schools, and community mental health settings). In addition, I have taught counseling courses in graduate mental health programs. I have worked with a variety of populations including children, adolescents, college students, and adults at various life stages, as well as couples, families, and groups. I am also trained to conduct a variety of assessments for learning disabilities, ADHD, personality disorders, mood disorders, and vocational/career interests.
Hello! My name is Rebecca (Becky) Hegwood, and I'm glad you're here! I am a 2015 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Masters degree in rehabilitation counseling and have worked in the counseling field for 10 years. I received my Licensed Professional Counselor designation for the state of South Carolina in 2018 and have most recently received my Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor designation in the state of North Carolina. I have worked in a variety of settings since beginning my journey in this field, beginning with community non profit work, and adding experience in state mental health, group, and private practices since then. I have worked with both children and adults in group and individual settings. Outside of work time, I enjoy time at my little country farmhouse with my husband, our dogs, cat, and ducks. Being creative and listening to music are a couple of additional things that make my heart happiest!
I have learned that I am not for everyone and everyone is not for me. I am a whole vibe professionally speaking. Therapy is a journey one in which the client is in the drivers seat and the therapist is in the passenger seat, shotgun! When you come to therapy its like showing up in some type of vehicle I will gladly get in and help navigate throughout the ride. Once the ride ends I get out and say goodbye until next time. Oh and I make sure during the ride you don't run us off the road ;).

Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a licensed therapist in New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina who helps people feeling burned out, anxious, or stuck in survival mode reconnect with balance and purpose. Many of my clients come to me after feeling overwhelmed by work, relationships, or the constant pressure to keep going — even when they’re running on empty.

My style is compassionate and collaborative — I meet you where you are and help you build practical tools for stress, boundaries, and self-care that actually fit your life.
Before starting my private practice, I worked in behavioral health settings supporting individuals living with substance use, bipolar disorder, and other chronic mental health conditions. I am a therapist who specializes in helping people heal their relationship with sleep and with themselves. I work with adults who are tired of feeling exhausted, wired, or stuck in worry at night, and who are ready to try a kinder, more science-based approach. In our work together, I combine evidence-based tools like CBT-I, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused strategies with a warm, collaborative style, so you feel supported rather than judged. My goal is to help you reclaim a healthy rhythm of rest, resilience, and renewal, and to feel more like yourself again in your days, not just your nights.
I’m Dr. LaToya Chevelle Waddell, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Supervisor dedicated to helping individuals, families, and professionals heal, grow, and reclaim their sense of self. My approach blends evidence-based strategies with compassion, empowerment, and cultural responsiveness.
