Xavier Fullerton, affectionately known as “X,” is a proud graduate of Winston-Salem State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Master of Science in Rehabilitative Counseling. He is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over eight years of experience across a range of clinical settings.
In September 2024, Xavier transitioned out of managed care to pursue a more intentional path in mental health. By December 2024, he launched his private practice, Just Therapy PLLC, with a mission rooted in addressing men’s issues—particularly the emotional intelligence and well-being of men of color.
Xavier’s therapeutic philosophy prioritizes people over diagnoses. He focuses on creating affirming, culturally attuned spaces where shared experiences lead to healing, self-awareness, and feeling truly seen.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor based in North Carolina. My experience comes from providing direct mental health care in various settings and providing grief counseling to children in school and national grief counseling settings. I have worked with children, teens, and adults with varied presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma, stress, low self-esteem, Women issues, Marital/ Pre-Marital, Spirituality, Life Coaching, and family issues.
I approach the therapeutic relationship with respect and dignity for each client. I walk with them on their journey to wholeness at their own pace. I worked with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate their challenges. I am compassionate and a great listener. I believe in what I do and am compassionate about helping the people I serve. We all can reach our highest potential, which is what I want to help my clients obtain. Many individuals I worked with have had setbacks, but once they believe in themselves, they realize their stumbling blocks are only stepping stones to their destination. Working toward a more fulfilling and happier life takes a lot of strength and determination. If you allow me, I will walk with you on your journey.
I earned a Master of Arts (MA) in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I have six years of professional Counseling and over thirty years of experience working in human services.
I got my MA in Dance/Movement Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2009 and have since worked mostly in community mental health. I'm excited to move more fully into working with women in transitional spaces of life looking for support and validation about their desires and next steps. My work with midlife women navigating perimenopause, family life, jobs and older family members has been the most fulfilling work I've ever done. Caring for the caregivers so that they may find the freedom and creativity in their lives to set boundaries, use their voices and make intentional choices based on what they KNOW that they need is the way to set free a group of women who never intended to imprrison themselves in a life they didn't fully consciously choose.
Welcome — I’m John Dyson, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), based in the foothills of North Carolina.
I want you to take a moment to acknowledge that you’ve already taken the first step toward bettering your mental health. Let’s be honest — starting therapy can feel empowering, confusing, or even scary — sometimes all at once.
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can explore concerns related to anxiety, depression, and self-care. I focus on helping clients build assertive communication skills and healthy boundaries, both with themselves and with others, in ways that support a more balanced, fulfilling life.
Therapy is an opportunity for personal growth in whatever way you're seeking — whether that means navigating specific challenges or building the life you deeply deserve. If that’s what you’re looking for, I’m here when you’re ready.
Together, we’ll clarify the challenges you’re facing and identify where you want to be — a month, six months, or a year from now. Then, we’ll explore actionable strategies to help you move forward. You'll leave each session with a clearer understanding of your situation and a set of “next steps” you can begin right away.
There will always be space for feedback and collaboration in our work — including holding each other accountable as we walk this path together.
Welcome! I am a depth-psychology and somatic-focused therapist with over 26 years of expertise practicing, teaching, and supervising others in the field. I work with women of every life stage. Clients value my non-pathologizing, heart-of-the-matter, clear, and supportive approach. I use proven tools to help women gain authentic emotional awareness, integrate and understand parts of themselves, heal suffering, and create more clarity and ease in their life. The work may include trauma recovery, DBT skills, ego parts work (similar to IFS), dreamwork, soul exploring, CBT, ecosomatic therapy, application of polyvagal theory, mindfulness meditation, nervous system attunement, EMDR for telehealth, and somatic healing. I work with both immediate crises and ongoing issues.
Reaching out for support can be challenging -- my focus is to make it as easy as possible. Women I work with are often seeking help with depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, chronic pain, PTSD, emotional abuse recovery, highly sensitive person needs, grief and loss, and finding deeper life purpose and career concerns.
My past career includes: clinical professor of social work, college campus therapist, mindfulness based stress reduction therapist at Duke Center for Living, integrative health center therapist helping support those with chronic stress, pain, and health issues, and years in private practice. Together, we create an environment for deepening your self-understanding, empowerment, and growth.
My approach is practical, focused on long-lasting change, and is based on the following premises: you are your own healer, all healing comes from your ability to understand and connect to your own deepest wisdom so you can integrate and understand, and the human spirit is resilient —when given proper practical attention and tools, you are able to call in your wholeness and integration.
My focus is to make the process of working together as easy as possible, and I hope you will reach out!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a deep respect for the complexity of a client’s histories, identities, nervous system and family dynamics. I work from a psychodynamic and trauma-informed lens, integrating skills and ideas associated with various evidence-based practices such as CBT, acceptance-based, and emotion-focused work to help you process what’s happened to you while also building skills for the present. I specialize in working with adults including LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent clients. I pay close attention to creating space that feels actively affirming – not just “tolerant”. You’ll find that I’m transparent about the therapy process, that I name what I see with care, and that I hold your pain and resilience in mind at the same time.

You are stressed and filled with anxiety. Your thoughts are negative and you lack self-confidence. You feel so overwhelmed by emotions that you no longer know what you feel. Intrusive thoughts keep distracting you from what you need to do each day. And you don’t understand why or how to change it.

Hi , I am Camilla Black, I am originally from New Jersey, mother of 3 and 1 adorable grand-daughter. I have worked in Human Services for over 20 years and I am passionate about helping others become their best selves. I have wanted to become a Counselor since I was in 8th grade. I have been fortunate enough to have a great counselor in college who took the time to really get to know me with all my strengths and flaws. He believed in me until I believed in myself and this helped me to push past my challenges without feeling like I had to be perfect. This is the counselor I strive to become everyday by helping you achieve your goals without judgement.
Life can feel overwhelming at times. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 7 years of experience working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and women navigating perimenopause. Hello, I am a licensed professional therapist in North Carolina. My experience has centered on working with diverse populations, from military-affiliated, college, and community behavioral health and private practice. Working within these settings has allowed my involvement with various ages, genders, cultures, and life experiences. My theoretical orientation is Constructivism; therefore, I need to understand my client's life perspectives and how that has influenced their worldview. In working with clients, I also practice an integrated approach using constructivism, person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, solution-focused therapies, and others. Person-centered focuses on the client and allows the client to process feelings and thoughts in a non-judgmental environment with unconditional positive regard. Cognitive-behavioral therapy focuses on the role of thinking in the process of influencing a person's feelings of well-being and how controlling thoughts can affect mental health. This approach maintains the link between emotions and behaviors in the cognitive process. The humanistic therapeutic method emphasizes the counseling relationship and the importance of quality, genuineness, positive regard, and empathy in the counseling relationship. Solution-focused therapy utilizes skills already present to help navigate current concerns, focusing on being present and checking facts on emotions and feelings that might direct reactive responses to stressors. Constructivism proves the space for cultural humility and openness to worldviews I might not have had the privilege to interact with previously.

The past few years have been difficult for so many of us... It seems like any issues we had before the pandemic were put on hold and we were then faced with a brand new set of overwhelming issues to cope with! Now that it seems we are beginning to return to some sense of normalcy, there's finally time to focus on personal growth and healing.
Hi, I’m Michelle. If you feel overwhelmed, disorganized, stuck in procrastination, or frustrated that everyday tasks seem harder than they should, you’re not alone, and you’re not lazy or broken.
I specialize in helping adults with ADHD, including those who are newly diagnosed, have lived with ADHD for years, or are beginning to wonder whether ADHD may explain some of their struggles. Together, we explore how ADHD may affect the way you think, feel, function, relate to others, and navigate everyday life.
My approach is warm, collaborative, practical, and strengths-based. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, psychoeducation, and executive-functioning support to help reduce shame, increase self-understanding, and build practical tools that fit your life and the way your brain works. When appropriate, I may also incorporate EMDR to address distressing experiences, chronic shame, or negative beliefs that have developed through years of criticism, rejection, or feeling misunderstood.
My work is also shaped by personal experience with ADHD, which has provided additional perspective alongside my professional training. This combination allows me to approach clients with both clinical expertise and an appreciation for the nuanced ways ADHD can affect daily life.
My goal is to help you feel more confident, capable, and supported in creating a life that works with your brain rather than against it. For clients who would like to incorporate their faith into therapy, I also offer Christian counseling in a supportive and natural way.
Therapy isn't just about talking. It's about getting results. I offer the kind of therapy which provides my patients with the results that they are seeking.

Hi! I’m Jada, a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals feel more grounded, confident, and emotionally balanced in their daily lives. I specialize in working with high-functioning people who may appear to have everything together on the outside, yet internally feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally drained.
I understand how easy it can be to get stuck in cycles of overthinking, people-pleasing, and constantly prioritizing others while neglecting your own needs. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling exhausted, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves, and are ready to make meaningful changes.
My approach is warm, supportive, and direct. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable being open and honest, while also helping you challenge patterns that no longer serve you. I believe therapy should not only provide insight but also offer practical tools you can apply in your everyday life.
I am passionate about helping my clients build healthier boundaries, improve their relationships, and strengthen their sense of self so they can show up more confidently and intentionally in all areas of life.
Therapy with me is conversational, compassionate, and grounded. We’ll take time to understand what you’ve been carrying, where patterns may be keeping you stuck, and what you need to feel steadier and more connected. Sometimes that includes learning tools to manage anxiety day-to-day, and other times it means slowing down enough to process deeper and sometimes uncomfortable experiences. There will be moments when I challenge you, but I am right beside you throughout the journey.

In the following sessions, we will increase coping skills and strategies, along with awareness of your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Throughout therapy we will work to increase your resilience, confidence and adaptability to all life has to throw at you, as well as heal from the parts of your past that need your attention.

Whether you’re navigating workplace burnout, relationship stress, anxiety, or grief, I’m here to help you find steadier ground and move forward with more balance and confidence.
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) located in northeastern North Carolina. I have 27 years of experience in the field as a clinical social worker and clinical and administrative supervisor. My experience is primarily in domestic violence, sexual assault, trauma, crisis intervention, grief, loss, major life transitions, chronic health problems, anxiety and depression. My clinical work has centered on providing trauma-based therapy to individuals impacted by complex trauma and PTSD. I use a trauma-informed lens in all aspects of care, helping clients stabilize, develop coping strategies and process traumatic experiences at a pace that feels safe. I draw on evidence-based approaches to guide recovery while empowering clients to regain control over their narratives and lives.
Hi, I'm Eric and I'm looking forward to meeting you! I graduated from Regent University in Virginia Beach with an M.A. in Clinical Counseling in 2015. My counseling philosophy is deeply rooted in a person-centered approach that meets individuals where they are in their personal journey. I Utilize a diverse range of therapeutic techniques; including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy and solution-focused strategies. This enables clients to explore their thoughts and emotions, develop coping skills, and ultimately discover their inner resilience. By guiding individuals toward holistic well-being, I empower clients to navigate life’s difficulties with confidence and strength, promoting lasting positive change in their life.
Would you like to create space for work/ life balance? Would it be helpful to learn more about the connection between your behaviors, feelings, and thoughts? Are you ready to talk about coping strategies- both those that work and learn new ones?
I work collaboratively with individuals and families to manage stressors, feelings of stress and anxiety, and cope with addictions. I help clients develop coping strategies that may challenge past thoughts and behaviors but lead toward the accomplishment of goals. Sometimes, it is simply reminding ourselves of what worked before and getting back on track and other times, it is about learning something never practiced before.
