New to Grow
I am a marriage and family therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families build stronger, more meaningful relationships. With a warm and empathetic approach, I create a supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. I work collaboratively to navigate challenges, improve communication, and foster lasting growth, helping clients move toward healthier connections and more fulfilling lives using evidenced based modalities.
Our first session is about understanding you within the context of your relationships. We’ll explore what’s been happening, patterns you’ve noticed, and how your relationships may be impacting your current challenges. I’ll also want to hear what you’d like to be different moving forward so we can begin shaping our work together.
I’m known for my warm, empathetic approach, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and relationships.
My dream clients are couples who are having relationship issues or who have experienced infidelity of any kind. Individual clients are ideal as well. I have seen clients ranging from being on the autism spectrum to clients in their eighties who are struggling with anger issues. I also love working with individual clients who have anxiety or depression or any social issues or relationship issues. I also enjoy working with clients that are my age or older.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I have been trying to use this modality when seeing couples. I have the clients work on finding out their negative cycle and I help them discuss how they are feeling in the present. I try to make it more experiential.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT with most of my individual clients. I teach them the cognitive triangle and we work on training our brains to change our thought processes and not always go to the worst case scenario.
Christian Counseling
I am a Christian, so I use Christian counseling in my sessions if my clients want me too. I do have a Christian worldview so my beliefs come across.
