I've provided mental health services within rural Missouri countryside and urban locations in St. Louis and New York, along with work within every level of care (outpatient, inpatient, and residential treatment) since the mid-1990s. I hold two graduate degrees from Lindenwood University in the metro St. Louis area with post graduate training in the areas of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I am currently licensed as a Professional Counselor in New Jersey and Missouri. My approach has been refined over years for a person-centered focus with young to older adults struggling with multiple issues, such as depression, anxiety and addiction.
Hello, I am Shana Toney, a Licensed Professional Counselor. Over my lifetime I have always worked in human services. It was gratifying to work with clients in their time of need and support them through the process. Many of the clients would say they felt comfortable talking to me and I listened to their needs. Those years of serving the community led me to become a therapist. Once I became a therapist 8 years ago, I found my passion. I love having the opportunity and freedom to work with clients, helping them figure things out, learn to create change in their lives and coping with situations they have no control over. Change is not easy but possible. My role as a therapist is to walk with clients to help create their change and happiness they desire.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience helping clients with stress and anxiety, motivation, self esteem and confidence, career difficulties, & coping with life changes. More specifically, I've supported clients regarding Relationship and Work-related Anxiety, Burnout Body Image Issues, Emotional Eating, Life Purpose and Career Change, and Developing Self-Confidence.
I completed my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology at Temple University. Early in my career, I worked as a school counselor, supporting adolescents as they navigate the path toward adulthood while also managing challenging experiences and emotions. I then expanded my work to include supporting adults as they navigate life stressors including work-related stress, anxiety, burnout, and life changes.
Greetings! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in NJ. I have been practicing for 15 years. I help clients with their struggles with anxiety, depression and trauma in a judgement free environment. I would love to work with you to help guide you on your journey to a healthier way of life and better mental health. Let's make this happen together.
Hi! I am Jaclyn. I have an extensive history working with individuals of all ages, functioning levels, and settings. I received my bachelor’s degree from Monmouth University where I studied Psychology. I then received my Master’s degree from Chestnut Hill College where I studied Clinical and Counseling Psychology. Since graduating, I have worked alongside my clients to address past traumas and symptoms of unresolved experiences.
You hold it together for everyone — at work, at home, in your relationships — but the weight of it is getting harder to carry. Maybe anxiety keeps your mind racing at 2 a.m., or you're stuck in patterns with substances or behaviors that started as coping but now feel like a trap. Maybe grief, trauma, or a painful chapter you thought you'd moved past keeps surfacing when you least expect it.
I'm Rovin Chonielall, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addiction Specialist with 15 years of experience helping adults find their footing when life feels unmanageable. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction and recovery, and the kind of emotional exhaustion that builds up when you've been running on autopilot for too long.
My approach is direct, holistic, and grounded in what actually works. I draw on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you build skills for managing intense emotions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge the thought patterns keeping you stuck, and Motivational Interviewing to help you connect with your own reasons for change — especially when motivation feels low. I also incorporate mindfulness and solution-focused techniques, because sustainable growth happens when you learn to be present with yourself, not just push through.
What my clients tell me is that therapy with me feels different — honest without being harsh, structured without being rigid. I'm not going to just nod along. I'll meet you where you are, ask the questions that matter, and help you build a life that actually reflects who you want to be.
If you're ready to stop going through the motions and start doing the real work, I'd like to help.
I found my career as a therapist as a secondary one which has provided exposure to multiple therapeutic settings. My start in community mental health gifted me with a well-rounded, diverse level of training and exposure to the human experience. More importantly, my background reinforced the importance and power of the therapeutic relationship. I am curious, empathetic, affirming, and compassionate. My sense of humor often finds its way into our sessions (as do my dogs, if you're so inclined!). Together, we will map your treatment, so that you are clear as to what to expect, regardless of the intervention. We start at the place you are ready, reinforcing the strengths and resiliency that you already exhibit. Together, we build from there to address what you came in for.. Therapy is hard work, but it is also profoundly full, rewarding and empowering. It's important for me to honor both the challenges and rewards.
Hello and welcome! I'm Tony and thank you for trusting me with your mental health! Are you struggling with the balance of daily life stressors of family, work and/or school? Are you not engaging in activities that once brought you joy? If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, I am here to help!
I help clients struggling with anger, aggressive behaviors, drug addiction, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief and loss, trauma, school stress and many other adjustment-related struggles.
Over the past 10 years, I have worked with all ages in the community, outpatient, inpatient and residential treatment settings.
Let's work together to develop emotional regulation techniques, healthy coping skills and positive thinking habits!

We all have our own unique life experiences, some of which can be difficult to cope with. But we also get to choose how we deal with these difficulties. Seeing the progress that clients make in coping better with the issues they presented with keeps me going.
