You are overwhelmed, overthinking everything, and overfunctioning just to keep things afloat. You are the one everyone relies on, but you are exhausted. You have gotten used to carrying everything for everyone, and if we are being honest, it is costing you your peace, your energy, and often yourself. If this sounds familiar, it is because I hear it all the time. It reflects the lived experiences of most of the clients I work with. In our sessions, we won't just talk about what is happening. We'll get honest about what's driving it and we work to change it. I'll help you notice the patterns that are keeping you stuck and challenge them in real time so that you can build something more sustainable in your actual day-to-day life.

From the outside, it may look like you’re managing life well...showing up for work, relationships, and responsibilities while quietly carrying stress, anxiety, overthinking, or emotional exhaustion underneath it all. Maybe your mind never fully slows down, you feel disconnected from yourself, or you keep finding yourself stuck in the same painful patterns no matter how hard you try to change them alone. The truth is that healing does not happen in isolation. We are not meant to carry everything by ourselves. Real change happens when you have a space where you can feel emotionally safe, understood, and supported without judgment. That's where I come in. I’m a trauma-informed psychotherapist (LPC) and the founder of Profound Minds Psychological Services. I help individuals move beyond survival mode, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin creating sustainable, transformative, long-lasting emotional and mental healing. My role is to help you make sense of what is happening beneath the surface and begin creating change that actually lasts. Many of the individuals I work with are capable, reflective, and self-aware, yet frustrated that insight alone has not been enough. In our work, we go beyond symptoms and begin identifying the emotional and relational patterns driving them. From there, we work to shift those patterns in a structured, realistic, and sustainable way. This is a space where you do not need to hold everything together or have the right words. You can show up as you are, and we will begin from there.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem issues, and challenges related to intimacy and sexuality. My goal is to provide a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe exploring difficult emotions, patterns, and experiences at your own pace. As a Black woman, I understand the importance of feeling seen and understood, and I strive to create an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds feel welcomed and respected. Whether you’re working through unresolved trauma, struggling in relationships, questioning your self-worth, or seeking greater confidence and connection, I am here to support you. Hi, I'm Lindsay. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Conflict is an unavoidable part of life. Sometimes we see it slowly building over time, and other times it arrives unexpectedly through a significant life event. These challenges can lead to anxiety, depression, trauma, or a decline in self-esteem. They may affect our relationships, daily functioning, and overall sense of well-being. At times, they can even cause us to seek comfort in unhealthy ways. While conflict is a natural part of life, growth and healing often begin when we are willing to face it. My goal is to help individuals and families navigate life's challenges, move forward from difficult experiences, and develop healthier, more effective ways of coping. I believe every person possesses unique strengths, and my approach focuses on identifying and building upon those strengths while working collaboratively to create meaningful solutions and achieve personal goals. Whether you are facing a current struggle, working through a past experience, or simply seeking greater balance in your life, I strive to provide a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where growth and positive change can occur.

I’m Chelsea, a somatic-first therapist who helps people move from emotional overwhelm into steadiness and clarity. In my practice, I guide clients to slow down, notice what’s happening in their bodies, and act from a grounded, regulated place rather than from panic, old wounds, or automatic patterns. I blend ACT, DBT, CBT, and embodied awareness to help people understand their thoughts, regulate their nervous systems, and build relationships and behaviors that align with their values. My work is gentle, intuitive, and deeply human — focused on helping clients feel anchored, present, and capable of choosing the life they want.

Hi, I'm Katherine Sharp, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina and Missouri, and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and self-esteem concerns. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences and working toward meaningful change. I believe that therapy is most effective when it combines insight with practical tools. While learning coping strategies can help manage current challenges, I also believe that understanding your past can provide valuable insight into who you are today. Together, we may explore important life experiences, relationships, and patterns that have influenced your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and beliefs. Developing this deeper self-awareness can help you break free from unhelpful patterns and create lasting change. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care. Whether you're navigating a difficult life transition, struggling with anxiety or depression, processing past experiences, or seeking a greater understanding of yourself, I strive to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. I view therapy as a partnership and am committed to meeting you where you are while helping you move toward the life you want to create.

I specialize in helping clients who are struggling with chronic illness, grief and loss related to losing someone or major life changes, caregiver fatigue, end-of-life issues and related burnout. Having personally experienced all of these things, gives me a true understanding and unique perspective while working with clients. Through past work with clients and my own personal journey with caregiving, deep grief, end-of-life issues, chronic illness and related burnout, I realized that my special talents lie in helping people who are seeking help with these things themselves. I love teaching and speaking for groups who want to learn more about all of these things. I believe in a holistic approach to living and a balanced lifestyle and look forward to helping my clients achieve their dreams. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family, being out in nature, photography, reading, learning, walking, yoga, and spending time with my cat, Carl. I am currently missing my giant Lab, Dugan. Fly high, Buddy.

You've built the career✔️ You've shown up for your family✔️ You've handled all the responsibilities, solved the problems, and kept moving forward even when things got heavy✔️ From the outside, it looks like you have it all together; but lately, something feels off. You feel stuck. Maybe your relationship isn't where you want it to be. Maybe anxiety has become YOUR constant companion. You may be navigating a divorce/breakup, a career change, or simply wondering how you got so far from the person you used to be. The one thing you have the most clarity on is that you've spent years taking care of everyone else, so you know you're capable and resilient. But you also know, you don't want to keep living like 'this.' I help high-achieving adults navigate relationship challenges, anxiety, and life transitions so they can reconnect with who they are, communicate more effectively, and move forward in life with more confidence.

I help adults with insomnia, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression — problems that feed each other and rarely resolve on their own. Insomnia and pain don't respond to general talk therapy. I help people who feel overwhelmed by anger, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, shame, grief, or difficult seasons of life. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns they do not like: saying things they regret, replaying conversations, avoiding people, feeling like they are failing, or carrying pain that they have tried hard to keep hidden. Before opening my private practice, I founded Coyote Hill and spent more than 33 years working with foster children, families, and people in crisis. That experience shaped the way I work now: calm, practical, honest, and compassionate. I do not believe therapy should feel mysterious or judgmental. My goal is to help you understand what is happening, why it keeps happening, and what you can begin doing differently. One line that has stayed with me is, “We are all just walking each other home.” To me, that is part of what therapy can be: a steady place where you do not have to carry everything alone, and where we move toward clarity, healing, and the next right step. We cannot change the past, but we can work on how you respond in the present and how you move forward with more steadiness, self-respect, and hope.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
