New to Grow
Hi, I’m a licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience helping people navigate life’s hardest moments and create meaningful, lasting change. My work is shaped not only by my clinical background and research experience, but also by my life as a mom and Nana—which gives me a deep, real-world understanding of relationships, stress, and the complexity of everyday life. I bring a warm, down-to-earth, and practical approach to therapy, blending evidence-based methods with genuine connection so you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been dealing with, and what you’d like to see change. I’ll ask some questions to understand your history and goals, and we’ll begin identifying a plan that feels comfortable and tailored to you—there’s no pressure to share everything at once, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths are my ability to quickly understand the deeper patterns behind what you’re experiencing and to use effective, evidence-based approaches that create real movement—not just insight. I combine warmth, honesty, and practical tools with advanced methods like EMDR, ART, and CBT to help you process what’s been holding you back and feel meaningful relief sooner, not just talk about the same issues for years.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m best positioned to support people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or weighed down by past experiences and are ready for something to finally shift—even if they’re not sure how yet. I work especially well with clients who want more than just talking, who are open to practical, evidence-based approaches like EMDR and ART to process what’s been holding them back and create real, lasting change in how they feel, think, and show up in their lives.
EMDR
I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help your brain safely process and resolve distressing memories so they no longer feel overwhelming or stuck.
Trauma Informed Care
I use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help your brain quickly reprocess distressing memories and replace them with more comfortable, manageable images and sensations.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors so you can feel and function better.
