“An Arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back, it means that it is going to launch you into something great.” Life has its way of pulling us backward, but I believe with positive support, healthy coping skills, and processing through things that are dragging you back; you can learn to thrive and launch yourself into greater things. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Missouri and also licensed in Illinois and Massachusetts. I received my Master's from the University of Missouri-Columbia. I have worked with clients of all ages and value the opportunity to support individuals in making meaningful, positive changes to live their best lives. I bring over ten years of experience in the mental health field, working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, personality disorders, and substance and alcohol use disorders. I specialize in perinatal mental health and have also served as a breastfeeding peer counselor, which allows me to incorporate additional support and understanding into my work with individuals and families. My greatest strength as a therapist is building genuine, trusting relationships where clients feel accepted, heard, and understood. Using a variety of therapeutic approaches, I help clients develop practical coping skills to manage daily stress and navigate symptoms they have struggled with in the past. I truly believe change is possible. I use DBT(Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) informed skills to help women and individuals in the perinatal period and beyond build mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthy relationship skills. These tools are effective in managing anxiety, depression, mood changes, trauma responses, disordered eating, substance use, and other emotional challenges common in women’s and perinatal mental health.

My name is Dan Cooper, and I have been a licensed counselor since 2008. My path to this work was shaped early on by a year of public service with AmeriCorps, followed by time working in a transitional living program for homeless youth. Watching counselors help young people create meaningful, lasting change in their lives inspired me to pursue this work myself — and that sense of purpose has stayed with me ever since. My approach to counseling is fundamentally collaborative. I believe that you are the expert on your own life and circumstances. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to offer an outside perspective, help you clarify what you want, and support you in taking accountable steps toward your own goals. Together, we work as a team.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated with my Master's Degree from Saint Louis University. My style is straightforward, respectful, and focused on clarity. I will not just sit back and nod. I help clients identify patterns, blind spots, and behaviors that may be keeping them stuck, while creating a space that still feels grounded and supportive. Hi, I'm Jonni Allen, from Houston, Texas, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and an Advanced Mediator. I received my masters degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and my law degree from Washburn University in Topeka, KS. I started Pink Rose Therapy to help women reach their full potential. Through empowerment, support, and emotional development I have seen women achieve greater success in their career, higher reports of satisfaction and enjoyment from their interpersonal relationships and a genuine calm and peacefulness when enjoying their down time, allowing more time to spend on hobbies, side hustles, or causes with greater vigor and passion. I approach individual therapy as a partnership, where you and I both work on your treatment plan goals and checking in with how effective our work together is going. Each person is unique and has specific needs. Typically, I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to challenge your current assumptions about your situation. I specialize in people experiencing anxiety, adjustment concerns around life transitions, and personality disorders. I am trauma informed and can help you realize how past traumas are impacting your mental health today, and strategies to cope better and calm the mind and body. I am a single mom to three children one adult, and two elementary age.

Hello and welcome to your mental health therapy journey. You’re about to embark on a meaningful path of self-discovery, growth, and healing. I would be honored to walk alongside you. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a deep passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges and uncover their inner strengths. Long before I earned my credentials, I have always felt I was a counselor. Formal training only deepened my understanding and sharpened my skills. Outside the therapy room, I’m a storyteller at heart and a collector of hobbies many of which involve craft projects I’ve enthusiastically started (and occasionally forgotten). I bring creativity, curiosity, and compassion into my practice, and I look forward to supporting you as you explore what it means to thrive.

I help people who feel overwhelmed by anger, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, shame, grief, or difficult seasons of life. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns they do not like: saying things they regret, replaying conversations, avoiding people, feeling like they are failing, or carrying pain that they have tried hard to keep hidden. Before opening my private practice, I founded Coyote Hill and spent more than 33 years working with foster children, families, and people in crisis. That experience shaped the way I work now: calm, practical, honest, and compassionate. I do not believe therapy should feel mysterious or judgmental. My goal is to help you understand what is happening, why it keeps happening, and what you can begin doing differently. One line that has stayed with me is, “We are all just walking each other home.” To me, that is part of what therapy can be: a steady place where you do not have to carry everything alone, and where we move toward clarity, healing, and the next right step. We cannot change the past, but we can work on how you respond in the present and how you move forward with more steadiness, self-respect, and hope.

Because sleep quality is critical to physical and mental health I am passionate about helping people get good sleep. I received my PhD from Duke University and have been a practicing psychologist for several decades. I work primarily with behavioral sleep medicine because sleep problems are so widespread, and there are not enough specialists to meet the need. I have published several articles and a book on sleep and am the director of the insomnia course for the World Sleep Academy, as well as a member of the Outreach and Public Education Committee, Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine. I continue working with people with anxiety, depression, and couples issues on a limited basis. The methods I use are evidence-based and trauma-informed. I am also an ordained member of the clergy (rabbi) and consider one's spirituality an important part of treatment for many, though not all, people. I’ve practiced telehealth exclusively since early 2020. Most people appreciate working this way because of convenience. Therapy is not adversely affected, and I am even able to do hypnotherapy via telehealth.

Lying awake at 3 AM while your mind replays everything that went wrong. Dragging through another day with pain nobody else can see. Worrying so much your chest is tight before your feet hit the floor. Feeling nothing where you used to feel something. You've tried pushing through it. Ignoring it. Waiting for it to pass. It isn't working. I'm Bryan Barry, a licensed clinical social worker with 25 years of experience. I help adults with insomnia, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression — problems that feed each other and rarely resolve on their own. Insomnia and pain don't respond to general talk therapy. They respond to specific methods, and those are the methods I use. Most people notice a real difference within the first few weeks. If you're ready to stop managing and start changing, let's talk. Evening and weekend telehealth in Missouri and South Carolina.

Welcome — this is a space where you can be honest, seen, and understood. I’m Shakea “Kea” Roper, LCSW, and I bring 15 years of clinical and life experience to our therapeutic partnership. If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or burdened by cycles that just won’t shift — I see you. I specialize in helping people manage anxiety, depression, racing or intrusive thoughts, life transitions, and relational struggle. My style is active, grounded, and rooted in both compassion and challenge. Many clients say: “Kea listens like no one else — and she’s not afraid to stretch me when I need it.” I integrate evidence-based approaches (CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, Strengths-Based, Brief Therapy) along with more specialized models: Making Sense of Your Worth (MSoYW): an 8-week group curriculum developed by HALO Project where we explore and heal the internal “lies” we believe about ourselves, rebuild toward positive self-worth and secure attachment. Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT): a structured, cognitive-behavioral system where we work through step-by-step exercises to enhance reasoning, decision-making, and a healthier identity (beyond self-destructive or impulsive patterns). I also actively engage in community work, and I’m currently pursuing my doctorate (which continues to deepen my perspective and rigor). Outside of sessions, you’ll often find me at board game night, crafting, or spending time with family. It’s an honor to walk alongside you. Nelson Mandela said, “Everything seems impossible until it’s done.” Let’s work together toward the possible. I’m currently accepting clients in Pennsylvania, Missouri, Kansas, Utah, North Dakota, and Nevada.

As a mental health professional for over twenty-five years, I am dedicated to helping clients explore options and strategies so that they may live a healthier and happier life. I provide compassionate care and counseling to individuals in Illinois, Missouri and Florida via Telehealth. I possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work specializing in Mental Health and Addictions. I also have completed a Master of Business Administration Degree focused on Healthcare Management. I am a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, camping and traveling. I have extensive experience in Leadership and Direct Care positions within Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Recovery and Rehabilitation facilities. As a result of those experiences, I witnessed and truly believe mental health and addiction recovery is possible. As we each experience our life’s journey, the good, bad, and ugly, we continue to learn and grow along the way. Many journeys will include troubled times resulting in anxiety, mood disorders, grief, loss, parenting difficulties, relationship issues, addictions and other challenges along the way. But most will also include exciting and positive times such as graduations, college, marriage, career advancements, births, relocations, new homes, new friends, and many more. Although positive, adjustment to these experiences may also result in a need for support during the transition. As a Social Worker, my approach will focus on the whole individual to identify other factors contributing to the current problem. This will include past and current relationships, health issues, work, living and social environments. My goal is to help clients find hope, joy and peace. They will achieve this by learning to view problems differently and using healthy coping skills to make changes and adjust to a new normal.

My journey into therapy began when my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age. As I learned more about how to support her, I realized how meaningful it would be to help others navigate similar challenges. That experience inspired me to become the kind of therapist I had wanted for her—someone who listens deeply, meets clients where they are, and helps them feel truly understood. What I love most about being a therapist is connecting with people from all walks of life. Hello! I am Susan. Are you feeling stuck in life and defined by past traumas or mistakes? Do you find these issues affecting your ability to establish quality relationships? Does anxiety or depression feel like a constant companion? It is my goal to meet each individual where they are at in life and learn their story so that we can address the core issues and not just treat the surface symptoms. I work from a strengths-based approach as we identify barriers to progress and create a path forward to overcome those barriers. I love to meet each new client and feel humbled to bear witness to their stories and their healing. Seeking therapy can feel so intimidating. It takes great courage to face the memories and issues you may have avoided up until now. When we meet, it will be your goals and values that guide treatment. I will allow you to set the pace so that the process feels tolerable. It is one of the greatest privileges of my life to walk with others through hard places. I utilize a variety of evidence-based treatments depending on your needs and preferences. Let healing start now.

Hello, I’m Dr. Felicia Spratt, Ed.D, LPC, a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, confidence, and support. I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, stress, and family conflict. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward, and my goal is to help them make sense of what feels heavy while identifying practical steps toward healing and growth. My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and solution-focused. I believe that each person brings strengths into the therapy space, even when life feels difficult. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, trauma-informed care, and family-based strategies to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work to build healthier coping skills, improve communication, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change in daily life. I have particular experience supporting adolescents and young adults who may be struggling with impulsivity, anger, family challenges, or high-risk behaviors. Clients who work with me can expect a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard and supported. I believe that every person possesses the inner strength and resources needed to find happiness and healing. As a transgender woman, I understand both the internal and external forces that can stir self-doubt, amplify fear, and lead to deep feelings of loneliness and uncertainty. I also know—through both personal and professional experience—that self-acceptance and joy are not only possible, but also within reach. Science consistently shows that those who seek support often find meaningful relief and lasting change. I bring to my practice a mindfulness-based approach grounded in compassion, presence, and affirmation. My work is especially focused on serving the LGBTQAI+ community, though I warmly welcome anyone seeking an empathic, nonjudgmental partner in their journey toward a more fulfilling life. In addition to my clinical work, I have served as an adjunct and visiting professor at Washington University in St. Louis, and as professor and dean of the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies. My academic and clinical experiences have always been deeply interconnected, and both continue to inform my commitment to human dignity, resilience, and transformation.

I’m someone who cares about real connection, steady progress, and creating a space where you can show up as yourself. I’ve spent years helping people sort through heavy thoughts, navigate big life changes, and rebuild a sense of direction. My approach is collaborative, practical, and values-driven. I bring structure when it’s helpful and loosen it when you’re ready to lead. My communication style is calm, warm, and straightforward — I make space for you to speak freely, slow down, or dig deeper when you’re ready. My background spans community mental health, integrated primary care, and work with people navigating some of life’s harder edges — chronic illness, trauma, and major life transitions. I’ve worked alongside people at a lot of different starting points, and that shapes how I show up: without assumptions, and without a one-size-fits-all approach.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
