(she/her)
Individuals come to me feeling overwhelmed by change—whether it is health concerns, caregiving stress, loss, anxiety, or life transitions that have left them uncertain about the future. They often carry the weight of caring for others while neglecting their own emotional needs. You want to feel understood, find balance, and regain a sense of calm and direction. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical, helping you feel more confident, grounded, and at peace as you move forward.
You have carried a lot and it is okay to ask for support. Therapy can be a space to slow down, feel understood, and begin finding your footing again. When you are ready, I am here to listen and help you take the next step forward.
I bring listening, patience, and compassion to my work. I have spent more than 30 years supporting individuals and their families through medical and life transitions. This experience helps me understand-people need to be heard, respected, and supported. I focus on meeting people where they are and working with them at their pace.
My ideal client is an adult who is navigating a challenging life transition, medical concern, or caregiving role and is seeking guidance, support, and a space to process their experience. I particularly enjoy working with older adults and with their caregivers supporting aging family members, helping them find balance, clarity, and coping tools. I also work with adults experiencing anxiety and depression, using a collaborative approach to help strengthen resilience and improve quality of life.
Strength-Based
I offer a caring, supportive space to talk about what feels heavy and discover the strength that’s already within you. Together, we will ease stress, build coping skills, and find a greater sense of calm and confidence as you move forward.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I will help you identify unhelpful or automatic thought patterns—especially those contributing to anxiety, depression, or stress. Together, we explore how those thoughts influence how you feel and respond in different situations. We will challenge and reframe those thoughts and feelings.
Supportive
I am supportive by listening and meeting you where you are. I try to create a space where you feel safe to be open without fear of judgment. I balance that support with gentle guidance, helping you look at things from a different perspective and build tools you may use outside of sessions
Trauma Informed Care
I am trauma-informed as I prioritize safety, trust, and client choice. I am mindful of how past experiences may be impacting the present. We can move at a pace that feels safe, while supportive, as you build insight and coping skills.
