New to Grow
I am a therapist who supports adults, adolescents, and children as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful change. My approach is grounded in the belief that growth often begins in moments of discomfort, and learning to sit with that discomfort can open the door to deeper insight and transformation. I help clients explore new ways of thinking, understand their patterns, and take intentional steps toward the life they want a pace that honors their humanity. I view healing as a journey rather than a race, one that requires grace, patience, and a willingness to embrace the messy parts of forgiveness and self‑discovery. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and a strengths‑based lens as you build resilience, purpose, and a more grounded sense of self.
In your first session with me, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where we slow down and get to know what brings you in. I’ll invite you to share your story at your own pace, there’s no pressure to have everything figured out or to explain things perfectly. My role is to listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and begin understanding what you’ve been carrying. We’ll explore what you’re hoping to change or strengthen in your life, and we’ll talk about what’s been getting in the way. I’ll help you identify patterns, clarify your goals, and begin imagining what “better” might look like for you. This session is also a chance for you to get a feel for my style and make sure it’s a good fit. I’ll explain how therapy works, what you can expect moving forward, and how we’ll work together at a pace that feels manageable. We’ll talk about the reality that growth often begins in discomfort and how learning to sit with that discomfort can be a powerful part of the healing process. Most importantly, you can expect a space where grace, curiosity, and honesty are welcome. The first session is the starting point of a collaborative journey, one step at a time, toward greater clarity, resilience, and a more grounded sense of self.
My greatest strengths as a therapist come from my ability to create a space where people feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood. I bring a calm, grounded presence that helps clients slow down, breathe, and explore their experiences without judgment. I’m skilled at meeting people exactly where they are while gently guiding them toward where they want to be. What stands out most in my approach is the way I blend warmth, honesty, and a strengths‑based lens. I help clients recognize that growth often begins in discomfort—and I support them in learning to sit with that discomfort as a sign that something meaningful is shifting. I don’t rush the process; instead, I help clients take intentional steps, honoring that healing is a journey, not a race. I’m also known for helping people reframe their challenges in ways that uncover purpose, resilience, and possibility. Whether we’re exploring patterns, challenging old narratives, or building new skills, I work collaboratively and at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Grace, curiosity, and compassion guide every session. Clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to balance gentle support with practical tools, my attunement to their emotional needs, and my commitment to helping them grow in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.
I work best with adults (18–64), children, and adolescents who are ready to make meaningful adjustments in their behaviors, mindset, or overall outlook on life. My ideal clients are open to exploring how their experiences are both the uplifting and the challenging, shape who they are and who they are becoming. I support individuals who want to find purpose in their struggles, explore new ways of thinking and responding, and recognize that real change unfolds gradually. Growth often begins in moments of discomfort, and learning to sit with that discomfort is where transformation takes root. I value working with clients who understand that life is a journey rather than a race, and who are willing to take one intentional step at a time. In our work together, we create space for grace, curiosity, and honest reflection. Healing is rarely linear, and forgiveness whether of self or others can be messy and complex. I help clients navigate these moments with support, structure, and a strengths‑based approach that honors their resilience and capacity for change. If you are seeking a therapeutic space where you can slow down, explore your patterns, challenge old narratives, and build a more grounded sense of purpose, I’m here to walk alongside you.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We collaboratively identify patterns that may be hindering progress and practice new, supportive ways of thinking and responding that align with their goals. CBT is practical, skill-focused, and designed for everyday application. Even small changes can significantly impact outcomes.
Humanistic
In my work with Humanistic Therapy, I focus on creating a space where you can show up as your authentic self without judgment, pressure, or fear, and with a deep sense of safety. My experience with this approach has shown me that people grow when they feel genuinely seen and accepted. I use this method to help you explore your thoughts, emotions, and values at your own pace, while also supporting you in finding purpose and meaning in both the positive and the painful experiences that shape your journey. Together, we work toward helping you feel more aligned, empowered, and connected to who you truly are.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy with children, adolescents, and adults to help them build skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and healthy communication. My experience with DBT has shown me how effective these tools can be in supporting clients through intense emotions and challenging situations. In sessions, I integrate DBT strategies in a supportive, non‑judgmental space so individuals of all ages can move toward balance, resilience, and meaningful change.
Integrative
I use an integrative approach that blends evidence‑based methods such as CBT, Solution‑Focused, Humanistic, and mindfulness‑based strategies to meet each person’s unique needs. My experience with this style of therapy has shown me that no single method fits everyone, and clients benefit most when treatment is flexible, personalized, and grounded in their strengths. In sessions, I draw from multiple modalities to support healing, insight, and meaningful change in a way that feels authentic, collaborative, and aligned with your goals.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients build psychological flexibility by learning to make space for difficult thoughts and emotions rather than fighting them. My experience with ACT has shown me how powerful it can be to pair acceptance with values‑based action, allowing clients to move toward what matters most even in the presence of discomfort. In sessions, I guide clients through mindfulness, cognitive defusion, and values exploration so they can live with greater intention, resilience, and authenticity.
