I’m a small-town woman who has navigated life’s joys, transitions, and challenges, including divorce, raising and caring for a child with special needs, loss, love, and the unexpected turns that are part of being human. These experiences have shaped not only who I am, but also the compassion, perspective, and understanding I bring to my work as a therapist and life and wellness coach. I have a passion for connecting with real people facing real challenges. I work with individuals who are looking for more than simply a place to talk; they want to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them from living the life they want. I believe meaningful change begins when we feel safe enough to be honest about where we are and hopeful enough to believe that something different is possible. My approach is warm, thoughtful, collaborative, and straightforward. I believe in meeting people where they are, without judgment, while also helping them look honestly at what may be preventing them from moving forward. Together, we can explore patterns, beliefs, relationships, and life experiences, while developing practical tools that support healthier choices, stronger boundaries, greater confidence, and lasting personal growth. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I consider it a privilege when someone chooses to share their story with me. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, understood, and supported as we work toward greater clarity and a more intentional and fulfilling life. I would welcome the opportunity to connect with you, learn about your story, and explore how I can support you in moving forward. When I’m not working with clients, you’ll often find me traveling with my children, playing pickleball or mah-jongg, or listening to a good podcast.

I am a therapist who supports adults, adolescents, and children as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful change. My approach is grounded in the belief that growth often begins in moments of discomfort, and learning to sit with that discomfort can open the door to deeper insight and transformation. I help clients explore new ways of thinking, understand their patterns, and take intentional steps toward the life they want a pace that honors their humanity. I view healing as a journey rather than a race, one that requires grace, patience, and a willingness to embrace the messy parts of forgiveness and self‑discovery. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and a strengths‑based lens as you build resilience, purpose, and a more grounded sense of self.

I am focused on sex therapy, working with people who have gender or identity questioning issues, issues with partners, kink/fetish/swinging related issues, or problems or issues with sex and sexuality. I see individuals, couples, and polycules. I have both book learning and practical, lived experience in many sex/gender/sexuality issues. I am a member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. I believe there is no single “right” way to experience desire, identity, or relationships. Therapy with me is an affirming, open-minded space where clients can explore who they are, what they want, and how to move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and self-acceptance. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time in the wilderness, thrifting or browsing rummage sales, and sharing life with partners and five and a half cats.

Hey, I’m Amber. I’m so glad you’re here! I know sometimes it can be pretty scary searching for a therapist who helps you feel known and understood. That is the kind of therapist I strive to be. Let me share a little about myself. I’ve been working in the mental health field for over 11 years now. I worked in community mental health for 10 1/2 of those years before deciding to branch into my own private practice. I am now licensed in Illinois and Missouri. I grew up in a very conservative and religious family, even attending seminary, so I do know those beliefs well. It took me until I was 25 to be brave enough to live my authentic self as a gay individual, knowing it would cost me most of my family and friends. It hasn't been easy, but it has been worth it. It is now my desire to be the support for you that I never had as you live your own truth and tell your own story.

Hi, I'm Jonni Allen, from Houston, Texas, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and an Advanced Mediator. I received my masters degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and my law degree from Washburn University in Topeka, KS. I started Pink Rose Therapy to help women reach their full potential. Through empowerment, support, and emotional development I have seen women achieve greater success in their career, higher reports of satisfaction and enjoyment from their interpersonal relationships and a genuine calm and peacefulness when enjoying their down time, allowing more time to spend on hobbies, side hustles, or causes with greater vigor and passion. I approach individual therapy as a partnership, where you and I both work on your treatment plan goals and checking in with how effective our work together is going. Each person is unique and has specific needs. Typically, I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to challenge your current assumptions about your situation. I specialize in people experiencing anxiety, adjustment concerns around life transitions, and personality disorders. I am trauma informed and can help you realize how past traumas are impacting your mental health today, and strategies to cope better and calm the mind and body. I am a licensed clinical social worker supporting children, adults, couples, and families through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, relationship strain, ADHD, mood disorders, and the emotional impact of chronic or complex medical issues. I offer telehealth care and am licensed in Missouri, Texas, and New Jersey. I am warm, steady, and down-to-earth. I want therapy to feel safe and collaborative, not stiff or clinical for its own sake. My work is practical and client-centered: we use what helps you most, including evidence-based therapy, family and school-based skills, 12-step support when addiction is part of the picture, and biblical counseling if that is your preference. My experience includes schools, hospitals, emergency rooms, homes, inpatient and outpatient programs, and community crisis work. I have built programs, supervised students and staff, and trained youth volunteers for a suicide hotline. Those settings showed me how quickly life can change, and how much strength people can find when they are not facing it alone. I am especially committed to clients who feel dismissed by systems—healthcare, housing, or the justice system—and I stay with the work until there is a clearer, more stable path forward.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with adults who have experienced trauma, grief, depression, relationship issues, family conflicts, self-image issues, anxiety, peer pressure, and so much more. My approach is versatile, incorporating a variety of techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused theory, mindfulness techniques, grounding techniques, and more. I believe in the importance of clients having a voice so they can be heard and understood.

I help clients who feel overwhelmed by worry, racing thoughts, tension, fear, or the sense that they cannot fully relax. My goal is to help you recognize the strength already within you and learn practical ways to feel calmer and more in control. Because anxiety is shaped by each person’s upbringing, life experiences, thought patterns, and current circumstances, I take time to understand your unique story. Together, we can identify what is fueling your anxiety and create a path toward greater confidence, progress, and peace.

Because sleep quality is critical to physical and mental health I am passionate about helping people get good sleep. I received my PhD from Duke University and have been a practicing psychologist for several decades. I work primarily with behavioral sleep medicine because sleep problems are so widespread, and there are not enough specialists to meet the need. I have published several articles and a book on sleep and am the director of the insomnia course for the World Sleep Academy, as well as a member of the Outreach and Public Education Committee, Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine. I continue working with people with anxiety, depression, and couples issues on a limited basis. The methods I use are evidence-based and trauma-informed. I am also an ordained member of the clergy (rabbi) and consider one's spirituality an important part of treatment for many, though not all, people. I’ve practiced telehealth exclusively since early 2020. Most people appreciate working this way because of convenience. Therapy is not adversely affected, and I am even able to do hypnotherapy via telehealth.

Hi, I'm Lindsay. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Conflict is an unavoidable part of life. Sometimes we see it slowly building over time, and other times it arrives unexpectedly through a significant life event. These challenges can lead to anxiety, depression, trauma, or a decline in self-esteem. They may affect our relationships, daily functioning, and overall sense of well-being. At times, they can even cause us to seek comfort in unhealthy ways. While conflict is a natural part of life, growth and healing often begin when we are willing to face it. My goal is to help individuals and families navigate life's challenges, move forward from difficult experiences, and develop healthier, more effective ways of coping. I believe every person possesses unique strengths, and my approach focuses on identifying and building upon those strengths while working collaboratively to create meaningful solutions and achieve personal goals. Whether you are facing a current struggle, working through a past experience, or simply seeking greater balance in your life, I strive to provide a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where growth and positive change can occur.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
