(she/her)
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about helping people heal from anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I specialize in working with women, children, and BIPOC clients seeking emotional balance, confidence, and clarity. Using EMDR, mindfulness, CBT, and trauma-informed care, I guide clients to break free from stuck patterns and create lasting, meaningful change. I am a client-centered therapist that encourages clients to find the strength within by going on a journey of self discovery.
In our first session, we’ll explore your story, challenges, and therapy goals at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll focus on building trust and safety, identifying your needs, and discussing the therapy methods that may work best for you. You’ll leave with a better understanding of how we’ll work together and your next steps.
My greatest strengths lie in blending EMDR, mindfulness, CBT, and trauma-informed care to create a supportive, empowering, and client-centered space. I focus on making therapy approachable, practical, and effective, especially for clients from diverse backgrounds. My experience working with anxiety, depression, and trauma allows me to offer tailored strategies that promote deep healing and personal growth
I’m best positioned to support adults who appear “high-functioning” on the outside but feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, exhausted, or stuck internally. Many of my clients are caregivers, professionals, parents, entrepreneurs, or people who have spent years prioritizing others while neglecting themselves. They often struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, people-pleasing, emotional burnout, relationship challenges, low self-worth, overthinking, or difficulty regulating emotions. I work especially well with clients who are ready to better understand their patterns, heal from painful experiences, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. Many of my clients come to therapy wanting to feel calmer, more confident, emotionally safe, and more connected to who they truly are. My approach is compassionate, direct, and trauma-informed. I integrate evidence-based practices such as EMDR, mindfulness, grounding techniques, cognitive and emotional processing, and nervous system regulation skills. I aim to create a supportive space where clients feel heard without judgment while also being gently challenged toward meaningful growth and change. I also have a strong interest in supporting women navigating life transitions, identity shifts, emotional exhaustion, relationship patterns, and healing from past trauma. My goal is to help clients move from survival mode into a more balanced, empowered, and fulfilling life.

I feel comfortable and safe to share how I feel with Reese. I typically guard and lock in everything. I have never done breathing exercises but I look forward to those and the open dialogue. This is my first time truly being in counseling sessions since my divorce 16 years ago. She is intelligent, solution oriented, and warm,

Reese is an incredible listener and brilliant solutions architect. She supports my stream of consciousness while also asking sharp questions to challenge me. I look forward to sessions with her because I always feel supported and encouraged. I feel like I am capable of moving from surviving to thriving with her support.
