Hi, my name is Dr. Nikki Ruffin. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Illinois a licensed professional clinical counselor in the state of California and a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Indiana. I have my doctorate in Counseling and Education and I've been in practice for about 20 years. I work mostly with adults with anxiety, depression, grief, and loss and trauma, as well as life transitions and relationship issues.

I believe everyone has certain abilities and gifts that lead them to their calling. With that in mind, I became a therapist because I wanted to help people achieve their full potential in a world where too many people feel unsupported and alone. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families and groups who are open to new ways of thinking and being, and motivated to change. Side note: I am an avid sports fanatic (including some unique ones; curling is one of my favorites!), and i am an enthusiastic dog parent. While working with my clients, I strive to provide them a relational space where they feel inspired, encouraged, and empowered to overcome their challenges. I have significant experience and training in Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy and EMDR, and work well with individuals and families dealing with long-term and complex issues. Hi there! My name is Dr. Tammy Steiner, and I’m a licensed professional counselor passionate about helping children, teens, and young adults navigate life’s challenges. Whether it’s working through anxiety, depression, trauma, or other concerns, I believe every young person deserves a safe and supportive space to grow and heal. I hold an MS in Psychology, an MS in Clinical Counseling, a certificate in Play Therapy, and a PhD in Educational Psychology. During my training and internship, I focused on supporting children and adolescents through difficult experiences, and I continue to use that foundation in my work today. My goal is to meet each client where they are, build a caring relationship, and walk alongside them as they discover their strengths and find healthier ways to cope.
