I have provided counseling and therapy services for over twenty years. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and EMDR. You want to feel better, and I can help you take those needed steps. It is humbling to be able to walk with you on your journey. I attend trainings regularly to try to keep myself informed about different types of therapy, and what may work best for different people. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from The University of Chicago and a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert McKinney School of Law.
It is my hope that you will begin to learn tools to better cope with issues that brought you to counseling, and that I can assist with processing these issues, in order to help you feel better.
I am certified in EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I have completed Level 1 training in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) at the Albert Ellis Institute. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).
I work with clients on issues related to trauma, depression, and anxiety.
