That means that a great clinical relationship with your therapist is more important than any particular treatment theory. I have experience with adult clients across a wide range of racial, ethnic, gender and socioeconomic spectrums, and have demonstrated the ability to make every client feel heard and understood on their terms. Mixing evidence-based methods and humor, we will address your priorities in a manner to help you make progress and help you to enjoy the journey.

I have had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. These experiences have shaped my approach to therapy, which honors the unique reasons each client has for beginning their therapeutic journey.
My work is grounded in openness, empathy, and respect for your individual experience. I strive to create an environment where you can show up as you are, feel genuinely supported, and begin to make sense of what you are carrying. My role is to offer both compassionate presence and practical guidance as you move toward the changes that matter most to you.

Hi, I’m Angela. I understand that reaching out for support is often the hardest part of the journey, especially when you feel life is heavy or uncertain. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, whether you are navigating the complexities of recovery, the weight of grief, or the shifting transitions of midlife. Since 2016, I have focused my career on supporting adults through the challenges of substance use, working across all levels of care, including detox, residential, and medication-assisted treatment.
As both a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Addiction Counselor, I have invested significant additional education and clinical hours specifically in the field of addiction. I believe it is important to work with a therapist who focuses on these patterns, as alcohol and substance use rarely exist in isolation. They are often intertwined with anxiety, codependency, trauma, and relationship stress. In our sessions, we will explore how these challenges impact one another and work toward your specific goals for change, whether that involves moderation or choosing abstinence.
I am also passionate about supporting women navigating the challenges of perimenopause and menopause. This stage of life frequently brings a surge of symptoms such as irritability, brain fog, and anxiety where you might find yourself drinking more than you intended just to get through the day. I offer a nonjudgmental space to address these symptoms, helping you develop healthier ways to cope so you can feel like yourself again.
My practice is built on a foundation of grace, respect, and the belief in the inherent dignity of every individual. I provide a supportive environment where we can work through the messiness together to build a life that aligns with your true values and goals.

For hobbies, I love playing soccer, reading, speaking Spanish, and gardening. My therapeutic orientation is born out of my desire to answer life's big questions and love of philosophy.
“An Arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back, it means that it is going to launch you into something great.” Life has its way of pulling us backward, but I believe with positive support, healthy coping skills, and processing through things that are dragging you back; you can learn to thrive and launch yourself into greater things.

I am a mental health therapist who is passionate about healing. I believe that health is holistic - mind, body, and spirit. I am passionate about being a safe space for mental and emotional healing, especially for African American and Christian-faith communities who have not, historically, been as open to mental health therapy. I incorporate Christian faith into therapy for clients who desire this.
My name is Ana Drake and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois. I have been providing therapy in treatment of anxiety, depression, anger/stress management, body image issues, coping skills, self-esteem, cultural adaptation, etc.
I completed my master's degree in mental health counseling at the University of Illinois-Springfield in 2017 and I was previously a licensed practicing therapist in Brazil before moving to the United States in 2008.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who provides thoughtful, collaborative psychotherapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and patterns that may leave them feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves.
My clinical approach is grounded in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe therapy should create space not only to address what you are feeling, but also to understand what may be happening beneath the surface. I help clients explore how past relationships, experiences, beliefs, and emotional patterns may influence the way they think, feel, relate, and respond in the present.
While symptom relief matters, I do not believe therapy should focus on symptoms alone. I work with clients to understand the meaning behind their experiences while also using practical CBT strategies to identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier responses, and strengthen coping skills.
My therapeutic style is conversational, reflective, supportive, and insight-oriented. Sessions provide space to slow down, think openly, make connections, and better understand yourself without feeling pressured to have everything figured out.
I especially enjoy working with adults who are functioning in their daily lives but recognize that something feels unresolved, overwhelming, repetitive, or out of alignment. Therapy becomes a place to explore what is happening, understand yourself more deeply, and make intentional changes that support greater emotional well-being and a more fulfilling life.
Hello and welcome! You've taken a great step by considering if therapy could be right for you. Many situations and life circumstances bring people to this space, and I look forward to talking with you more about your unique story. If you're even wondering if therapy might be right for you, then the answer is yes!
My name is Emma Peters. I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin. While in Arkansas I worked with adolescents with maladaptive sexual behaviors and co-ocurring disorders in an inpatient setting. Upon relocating to Illinois, I spent several years working in substance use treatment settings, including residential/inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient programs. I've spent the last several years focusing on individual therapy. While in this space, I have developed a passion for working with young adults and supporting the unique challenges they face today.
This journey can feel a bit overwhelming at times. I believe in bringing authenticity, compassion, and even a bit of humor into the therapy space to support and empower you through life's most difficult moments.
Hello! I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with more than four years of experience supporting individuals as they navigate life's challenges, transitions, and opportunities for growth. My ideal clients can be emerging adult looking for a safe place to land as they figure out who they are and where they're headed, or adults who feel overwhelmed by the demands and chaos of life and are looking to regain their footing.
I take a person-centered, relational approach to therapy, which means I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the healing process. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. I approach each person's story with curiosity, compassion, and a nonjudgemental perspective, recognizing that every journey is unique. While therapy can involve difficult conversations, I also believe there's room for humor along the way. When appropriate, I enjoy brining warmth, authenticity, and a little laughter into sessions to help make the process feel more approachable and human.
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Illinois and Maine. I have experience working with clients in crisis with severe mental illness to adults experiencing depression and anxiety with chronic complex medical conditions.
Coping with life challenges is not something you have to go through alone. Many people seek therapy for support, information, and new ideas on how to better handle the curve balls that life can throw sometimes. I believe that human beings are incredibly resilient and sometimes need assistance in recognizing their own inner strength to create positive changes in their lives. The therapeutic relationship should be collaborative, built upon both mutual respect and independence, and I hope to empower my clients to find opportunities for personal growth so that they can move forward with their goals.
I have been a great support to those experiencing significant changes in their lives such as new medical diagnosis or crisis events.
Be proud of making this step forward toward your best self.
I look forward to working together!

This helps me get a clear picture of your unique situation and begin identifying goals together.
We will also review how therapy works, discuss confidentiality and professional boundaries, and answer any questions you have about the process. Together, we will start to explore your strengths, coping strategies, and any immediate concerns so that we can develop a plan tailored to your needs.
Hello, I'm Tracey.
"Relationships often die not because of conversations that were had but rather conversations that were never had," (Lysa Terkeurst).
Communication is the #1 most reported reason for couples to enter therapy. It is the "appropriate" way of saying, "he doesn't listen to me," and "all she wants to do is talk and talk, {nag}" or giving each other what I refer to as the "non-verbal abuse" {silent treatment}. It means I don't know my partner, or we can't talk without fighting. Yet almost every couple starts off communicating at some level. I mean, come on--you and your partner would not be a couple if the first date involved playing the "Staring contest" where the first one to blink loses.
What we fail to recognize is that Communication is a form of Intimacy. And all other forms on intimacy hinge on protecting the communicative intimacy. So, what is that and how do I get some before we leave each other?
Communicative intimacy refers to the deep emotional and relational closeness that develops through communication, where individuals feel understood, valued, and connected on a personal level. It is both a feeling and a process shaped by how people interact, listen, and respond to each other. It involves an aligned commitment to taking care of it and protecting it. So, time's a wasting and you both are out of options. You both need to commit to starting this before you commit to ending.
I am a goal-oriented, strengths-based therapist who uses our session time to help clients develop pragmatic solutions. I apply decades of life experience and healthcare-oriented professional skills to help my clients reach their best potentials for happier lives. I listen with an open heart and open mind. I feel that compassionate accountability helps clients achieve their best potentials. I look forward to working with you!

I am a mental health therapist specializing in grief, trauma, and substance use. I have been in the field about 10 years now and in that time I have worked with many different types of people and mental health disorders. I have worked in community mental health, private practice, residential, outpatient, and higher levels of care such as PHP/IOP. I love what I do and I could not imagine doing anything else.
Welcome—I’m truly glad you’re here. I bring a warm, grounded, and collaborative approach to this work, shaped by graduating with honors in my Master’s program and earning my Bachelor’s in Social Work with a Minor in Human Services. With 17 years of experience supporting at‑risk youth and families across Illinois, Kansas, and Missouri—and roughly five years in a direct therapeutic role—I’ve learned that healing is most powerful when mind, body, and spirit are invited into the process.
My background includes specialized training in DBT, ASIST, trauma‑responsive care, and emerging work with elders through grief support and medical assessments. My practice continues to expand as I deepen my understanding of military culture and the unique stressors faced by Service Members, Veterans, and their families. I integrate training in reintegration support, deployment‑related stress, and identity transitions to help military‑connected clients navigate life with clarity and strength. I am honored to now offer supportive therapeutic services to clients in the state of Virginia.
As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Somatic Therapy remains one of my first passions and is available for in‑person sessions. This body‑based approach helps clients release stored tension, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect with the wisdom of their physical and emotional selves. When the body softens, the mind opens—and healing becomes more accessible, more intuitive, and more aligned.
My work is guided by a simple belief:
~When people feel safe, seen, and supported, they naturally move toward wholeness.~
It’s an honor to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and step into a life that feels grounded, authentic, and spiritually aligned.
Hi there! My name is Shante and I‘m happy you're here.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker originally from the Bay Area and have resided in Las Vegas for 10+ years.
My background includes working in trauma-informed care, community mental health, and with Veterans experiencing complex life challenges. These experiences have deepened my belief that healing happens best in spaces where people feel seen, respected, and safe enough to be honest. I strive to create a therapy space that feels grounded, collaborative, and human, while providing a supportive space for women navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm.
My approach is rooted in CBT and mindfulness-informed practices, helping clients better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building healthier coping tools and greater self-awareness. Outside of therapy, I enjoy pottery, mindfulness practices, and finding small ways to slow down and stay present throughout the day. I believe healing often happens in the little moments where we learn to reconnect with ourselves with more compassion and intention.
-Shante

I work with clients who are struggling with grief, anxiety, depression or trauma. I also work with clients who may need assistance in processing everyday life stressors and want a supportive therapist whom they can confide in who will also challenge them and assist with problem-solving.
I also work with those facing reproductive challenges. As a compassionate and empathetic therapist, I understand the complex emotional and psychological impact that infertility and miscarriage can have. I can:
• Support you in maintaining hope, peace and positivity while navigating uncertainty and help you build resiliency as you work through obstacles.
• Help you to recognize and access your deeper intuition, so you are better equipped to honor your body, spirit and mind with the highest intention throughout your journey.
• Work with you on increasing clarity and purpose around your fertility journey.
• Utilize a holistic approach to address integrative lifestyle strategies that may be beneficial to your fertility path.
• Assist you in addressing relationship difficulties that can arise out of the stress of fertility challenges, help you develop strategies to increase intimacy with your partner and foster healthy communication.
For women and men who have experienced reproductive loss:
• The devastating and seemingly invisible pain of losing a pregnancy is unique in that it involves not only the loss of your baby, but also involves the loss of the future - and there is no accepted way to mark that loss. Sometimes it seems that friends and family members expect the person to move on quickly. Partners often grieve differently - and for men, the trauma of miscarriage is often overlooked. Also, some women may suffer guilt or shame associated with the loss that doesn't tend to occur with other types of grieving.
• There is no universal template for grief. Together, we will address your unique needs as you work through your grieving process.
Hi! I'm Sharonda, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). Growing up in Chicago, I regularly witnessed individuals with mental health difficulties, addiction issues, individuals impacted by trauma, and those who were victims of violence. Many of them did not have guidance on how to heal or could not access helpful resources/supports. Because of that, I set my goal to be a valuable resource and advocate for anyone who may need guidance or support through their struggles. I have approximately 10 years of experience working in various mental health settings including; a substance abuse rehabilitation center; outpatient therapy facilities; within the juvenile detention center; with DCFS involved youth; Juvenile Trauma programs; and with Community Violence Intervention programs.
