First Session
In our first session, my focus is on getting to knowing you- what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping to gain from our work together, and what may have felt difficult or painful lately. I’ll ask gentle questions to better understand your experiences, your history, your strengths and the goal you have for therapy- where you want your life to be, a month, six months, a year from now. Then we’ll identify options and strategies you can use to get there. You will leave the session with a better understanding of what you are facing and I can help you begin making sense of your experiences, recognizing your strengths, and identifying the next steps toward healing. There is no pressure to share anything you are not ready to discuss. We will begin building a foundation of trust and understanding and develop a collaborative plan for our work together. Most importantly we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Life can become complicated when the strategies that once worked stop working. Whether you're navigating a recent ADHD or AuDHD diagnosis, struggling with burnout, anxiety, depression, or major life changes, it can feel like you're trying to solve a puzzle without all the pieces.
As someone who was diagnosed later in life, I understand both the relief and the disruption that can come from finally having an explanation for lifelong challenges. That experience has shaped my approach to therapy and deepened my appreciation for the resilience people develop while trying to navigate a world that wasn't designed with their needs in mind.
My work is grounded in the belief that every person has a unique nervous system, unique strengths, and unique challenges. Rather than treating a label, I focus on understanding you as a whole person. I draw from established therapy approaches, neuroscience, and our growing understanding of the connection between the brain and body. I also believe that therapy doesn't have to feel cold or clinical. Humor, relatable analogies, and practical tools are often part of our conversations.
I work primarily with adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or exhausted from constantly trying to keep up. Many are navigating neurodivergence, life transitions, relationship challenges, or the loss of skills that can accompany chronic stress and burnout. I also provide an affirming space for clients in kink, polyamorous, and other consensual nontraditional relationships.
My goal is to help you better understand yourself, reduce overwhelm, build sustainable strategies, and create a life that feels more authentic and manageable. You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can work through it together, one step at a time.
Starting therapy is a big step, especially during times of change or uncertainty. Whether you’re entering new phases of adulthood, exploring identity, or struggling with self-doubt, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I work with teens and young adults who are often navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or self-worth concerns. In our work together, the focus is on creating a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to be honest about what you’re going through.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addictions Counselor with extensive experience supporting adults and families through anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, relationship concerns, substance-use challenges, life transitions, and everyday stress. I provide a culturally responsive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.
My approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), grief therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based, trauma-informed care. I help clients process loss at their own pace, honor their experiences, and develop healthy ways to adjust to life after significant change. Through ACT, clients learn to approach difficult thoughts and emotions with greater awareness and acceptance while taking meaningful steps toward a life guided by their values. Together, we will strengthen coping skills, increase emotional flexibility, and work toward healing and sustainable change.

You may be the person everyone relies on—the one who keeps showing up, handles responsibilities, and appears to have everything under control. But underneath that, you may feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or unsure how to prioritize yourself without feeling guilty.
I’m Steve, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 15 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, self-esteem, difficult life transitions, and the pressure of constantly having to be “the strong one.” My style is warm, authentic, and direct. Hello, I'm Tracey.
"Relationships often die not because of conversations that were had but rather conversations that were never had," (Lysa Terkeurst).
Communication is the #1 most reported reason for couples to enter therapy. It is the "appropriate" way of saying, "he doesn't listen to me," and "all she wants to do is talk and talk, {nag}" or giving each other what I refer to as the "non-verbal abuse" {silent treatment}. It means I don't know my partner, or we can't talk without fighting. Yet almost every couple starts off communicating at some level. I mean, come on--you and your partner would not be a couple if the first date involved playing the "Staring contest" where the first one to blink loses.
What we fail to recognize is that Communication is a form of Intimacy. And all other forms on intimacy hinge on protecting the communicative intimacy. So, what is that and how do I get some before we leave each other?
Communicative intimacy refers to the deep emotional and relational closeness that develops through communication, where individuals feel understood, valued, and connected on a personal level. It is both a feeling and a process shaped by how people interact, listen, and respond to each other. It involves an aligned commitment to taking care of it and protecting it. So, time's a wasting and you both are out of options. You both need to commit to starting this before you commit to ending.

Hello, I’m Fernanda, a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Let’s be honest—life can be hard, and sometimes the struggle feels like a lot to carry on your own. I’ve had the privilege of working with people from different backgrounds who are navigating stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, and everything in between.
Mental health doesn’t look the same for everyone, and therapy shouldn’t either. I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, feel heard without judgment, and work together to find what truly works for you.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can start wherever you are.
We all have challenges we face, like day-to-day anxiety, work stress, seasonal changes in mood, or life transitions. A strong support system is vital for navigating challenges & building resilience, & having an unbiased ear can be a game-changer.
My clients often come to me with concerns such heightened anxiety, depressive symptoms, difficulty coping, negative self talk. I work with a range of clients, from young adulthood, to expectant and new mothers, to individuals who are mid-life and navigating a new season in their lives, and searching for tools to cope.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, & though I don’t know you (yet), please know I am proud you’ve taken this step!

My name is Brittany Wright and I am a licensed LCPC, LMHCA, and CADC. I have worked with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders since 2018. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Georgia State University, and my Master's degree in Forensic Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I service the adult population (18+) with several concerns including, but not limited to, substance use, parent education, domestic violence victims, domestic violence offenders, anxiety, and depression.
As a provider, I bring a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to counseling, rooted in my own experiences as a wife, mother to two wonderful children, and lover of animals. I understand the challenges of balancing family life, personal growth, and the stresses that come with both. I graduated from the University of Illinois with a Master's degree in Social Work and currently work full-time as a school social worker, where I have the privilege of supporting students through life's challenges. My passion for helping others extends beyond the school setting, which is why I am excited to offer supportive online counseling with the goal of eventually opening an in-person practice to further serve my community.
In my free time, I enjoy watching my children play sports and spending time outdoors during the summer months. However, I also love cozying up indoors with a good book or favorite TV show. These personal interests help me relate to the balance of work, family, and self-care that many clients face. I am eager to expand my work from the school environment into the broader community, offering a safe, supportive space where individuals can explore their challenges and grow towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.
Creating a space where you can find what works best for you in your journey. Focusing on strengths helps individuals recognize their own resilience and capabilities, which is vital for growth. By tailoring my approach to each person's unique situation, I honor their individuality and foster a deeper sense of self-understanding and agency. People often thrive when they feel heard and supported in a way that aligns with their own needs and goals, rather than being pushed into a redefined mold.

Entering the world of personal psychotherapy can be an exciting, yet a foreboding area, if you've not had that opportunity previously, I believe that my first goal is to be welcoming to each and every person. Over some weeks, we will explore your inner pursuits which will help you feel more comfortable in who you are and who you desire to be. For me personally, being alongside you, is a privilege that few people get to have, so I treat it as a sacred opportunity. Helping individuals reach their potential or heal a broken heart is an enormous responsibility, but also one a therapist will approach with care and encouragement.
I am able to see the strengths in most of my clients; for example if they are poor students and failing school, I can see their resilience in other areas. I am opened minded and non-judgmental, as long as one does not advocating harm to themselves or others. I hope to identify what's working for you, as far as support systems, coping skills and values.
Compassionate care paired with non- judgemental expertise is my specialty. I work with parents, children, couples, teens on a variety of issuesYou can expect honesty ,skill and authenticity in every session.Using EMDR ( eye- movement desensitization retraining) we can separate the emotion from the trauma.Using CBT ( cognitive behavioral therapy)we can tap into thinking that is limiting you and correct it. I often tell people that " long after you have forgotten my name you will have tools that, you, your family and friends can use".You can pass on a legacy of emotional health to your offspring.I look forward to working with you to make the world a better place!
