Teenage years are stressful on the teen and the family. Is your teen having a hard time making healthy choices? Are they angry for no apparent reason? Is your teen a bully or are they being bullied? Parenting a teenager is difficult. I also specialize in counseling teens that identify as LGBTQ+.
It can get better, with the right help. I’ve been working with teens for many years and I know how tough it can be on the teen and the parent. Imagine your teen being able to communicate their thoughts/feelings without anger or resentment. I can help you build trust with your teen and communicate without arguing in family counseling.
My name is Lee Maxwell; a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Maximum Wellness, LLC. I have lived and worked in Metro Atlanta for over two decades. I grew up in rural Georgia; born to older parents who instilled in me the value of connection with others and treating others as I would want to be treated. Are you looking to improve your communication, strengthen your relationships, and manage conflict more effectively? Interpersonal skills are the foundation of healthy and thriving relationships—both personal and professional. If you are recovering from an emotionally abusive or narcissistic relationship and feel disconnected from yourself, therapy can also help you rebuild your identity, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and develop healthier relationship patterns.
I am a relationship counselor, currently providing individual and group therapy for adults aged 18 and older. I specialize in helping clients improve their relationship with themselves through personal growth and the development of healthier interpersonal skills, including communication, conflict resolution, anger management, boundary-setting, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills. A major focus of my work is helping clients reconnect with themselves, rebuild healthier patterns, and strengthen how they show up in relationships with others.
How you relate to yourself impacts every relationship in your life. When you learn to communicate effectively, set healthy boundaries, manage emotions, and navigate challenges in healthier ways, your relationships often become stronger, more balanced, and more fulfilling. This growth can improve confidence, reduce stress, and support overall emotional wellness.

Hi! I am a licensed counselor in Florida and Georgia. I have been working as a counselor for 14 years, with a private practice for the past 9 years. I went to the University of North Florida for undergraduate and graduate school. I have worked with many populations including men and women, high achievers, professionals, veterans, who have dealt with anxiety, depression, life transitions, family and career issues, etc.
My Professional Background and Counseling Philosophy
My passion for mental health has shaped my work with individuals, families, and communities across a variety of settings. Over the years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with clients to enhance their well-being, drawing on my experience across diverse settings, including hospital Emergency Departments, psychiatric units, community organizations, and mental health agencies. My professional journey includes supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, assisting those facing mental illness, and working with people who have experienced homelessness and hopelessness. I have also provided both individual and group therapy within clinical settings.
Counseling Philosophy
At the core of my counseling practice is the belief that meaningful change occurs through collaboration and purposeful effort. I view my clients as the experts in their own lives and encourage them to take an active role in their treatment by investing time and energy in the process. Together, we identify the outcomes that matter most to the client and work to ensure consistent progress toward those goals. My approach centers on empowering clients by fostering self-awareness and resilience, and I am dedicated to ensuring every individual feels heard, understood, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
Commitment to Client Autonomy
What distinguishes my counseling style is a steadfast commitment to honoring each client’s autonomy. For example, I have worked with clients who struggle with anxiety and self-doubt. By collaborating closely, we identify the client’s unique strengths and develop practical coping strategies tailored to their needs. As clients move through this process, they gradually regain their confidence and begin taking meaningful steps toward their desired outcomes. This experience reinforced for me the importance and effectiveness of a supportive, empowering therapeutic alliance. In every interaction, my focus is on achieving the best possible results and facilitating lasting, positive change.

Hello, I’m Jaylin Ross, a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and reconnect with yourself.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, emotional overwhelm, and neurodivergence—especially those who are accustomed to being strong, capable, or dependable for everyone else. When you spend so much time meeting others’ needs and managing life’s demands, it can become difficult to recognize your own needs, trust your emotions, or care for yourself without guilt.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that greater self-understanding creates room for meaningful change. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, experiences, and expectations shaping how you respond to yourself and others. We’ll work toward strengthening emotional awareness, establishing healthier boundaries, and developing ways to care for yourself without self-abandonment.
My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel understood, gain clarity, and build a life that feels more peaceful, authentic, and sustainable.

Hey, I'm Robyn. I've been a therapist for over 15 years, and one thing I've learned is that life can be complicated. Sometimes you know exactly what the problem is and just don't know what to do about it. Other times, you just know you're tired of feeling the way you feel. I work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, difficult relationships, narcissistic abuses and concerns around gender identity. I am a down-to-earth therapist. You don't have to come in knowing what to say or having everything figured out. We'll start where you are and go from there.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 8 years of experience. I specialize in working with children and adolescents (4-17 years old) and adults who present with concerns such as inattention, depression, anxiety, behavior problems, parenting challenges, interpersonal relationships, emotional dysregulation, trauma, and anger management. Before private practice, I provided services as an APEX school-based therapist, in addition to delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals with chronic mental health conditions in community-based settings.
I received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from Mercer University. I utilize a variety of clinical approaches that are targeted to clients' needs including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), playful activities, client-centered approaches, mindfulness-based methods, family therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT).
My approach to therapy is rooted in authenticity and my goal is to assist each client to ensure they can achieve success, in their mental health recovery. I believe with support, perseverance, and a positive mindset, change is possible which creates the ability to overcome life’s challenges.
Hi, I'm Megan!
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Georgia, I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered. I enjoy working with individuals and families as they navigate life’s unique challenges, strengthen their self-esteem, and develop healthier ways of coping and connecting.
I believe that each person’s journey is unique, and therapy should be tailored to meet you where you are. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, gain greater confidence in themselves, and work through obstacles that may be holding them back from living a more fulfilling life.
As a mother myself, I understand that life can bring many different roles, responsibilities, and challenges. I bring compassion, understanding, and authenticity to my work, and I value the opportunity to walk alongside my clients as they grow, heal, and create meaningful change.
