I'm Dr. Kimberly Griffin, a graduate of Mercer University (PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision) and Clark Atlanta University (Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology). I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified Professional Counselors Supervisor (CPCS). I offer psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, and couples dealing with personal challenges.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
I provide a safe and peaceful atmosphere that empowers you to face your challenges, embrace a new way of thinking, and make changes that positively impact personal growth. Let's work together to help you make the changes you so desire.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
With over 20 years in the counseling field, it has been my experience that we are what we believe. Those same beliefs prevent many from seeking counseling because of misconceptions. Although participating in therapy can be intimidating, I focus on integrating faith based principles with clinical counseling interventions, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to offer my clients an enriched and collaborative therapeutic experience.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Although I work with clients dealing with several concerns, my focus has been on addiction, anxiety, depression, faith, and grief.
