Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session Dr. Griffin will confirm information in your assessment and obtain additional basic information to assess the presenting problem and reason for therapy. In following sessions, Dr. Griffin will help you process your feelings so you can make informed decisions for yourself. Keep in mind, a therapist should not tell you what to do for your betterment. The therapist is there to help you figure it out. This is done through asking probing questions and utilizing therapeutic techniques.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Although I work with clients dealing with several concerns, my focus has been on addiction, anxiety, depression, faith, and grief.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Counseling is not only for those who are hurting. Psychotherapy is useful for people who want a safe space for vulnerable sharing of their most inner thoughts. Dr. Griffin has assisted individuals, adolescents, groups, and couples who are dealing with anxiety, spirituality, grief, marital issues, career concerns, depression, and life transitions.
