My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based practices like Emotionally Focused Therapy and Solution-Focused techniques. Whether you’re feeling stuck, struggling in your relationships, or seeking clarity and growth, I’m here to guide and support you on your journey toward healing and fulfillment."
I’ve enjoyed working with clients who are looking for change in their lives and are willing to take an honest look at patterns and behaviors that have historically led to conflict or unhappiness. The amazing aspect of working with these clients is that they often already know what needs to be done. Having a nonjudgmental space to explore behavior patterns that oppose what they say they want to accomplish, helps to bring these behaviors into the light and enable self-identified changes needed for success. As a counselor, I feel it is my job to act as a mirror so that clients can see themselves more clearly, and not to give advice, that, on some level, they already know needs to happen. My goal is to be the client's most avid cheerleader.

Welcome home! I'm Jill, and I've been a clinical social worker licensed and serving clients in Georgia for 24 years. I have had the opportunity to work with people of different ages and backgrounds as well as with varying levels of need. I currently work with adults 18 and older who experience anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, feelings of overwhelm, or who are perhaps challenged by life transitions - think navigating life after high school or college, moving in or out of the work force, dealing with a physical illness or chronic medical condition, or losing a person you have loved. In addition, my professional experience includes extensive work in healthcare and with serious mental illness. Together we focus on your goal(s) for living and for life, and my goal is for you to feel comfortable and safe in your journey.
I believe that all people can benefit from support while identifying and changing thoughts and behaviors in ways that can better help them live their ideal lives. I hope to be a resource you can use to reach those goals and support you along the way, working together to create balance between acceptance and change. My name is Amanda Chilleme, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, as well as a Master’s Certified Addiction Professional. For over 11 years, I have supported individuals in identifying what truly matters to them, navigating obstacles, and building a foundation for a more fulfilling future.
My primary specialty is working with men and women struggling with substance use disorders as well as process and behavioral addictions, helping them find a pathway to a life that feels less burdened and more aligned. I also have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, grief and bereavement, trauma, attachment concerns, and personality disorders.
As a clinician, I take a human-focused approach. I am not here to tell you what you need to work on—you already know the what. My role is to help you understand the why, and ultimately the how: how to shift it, heal it, overcome it, or, when appropriate, let it go altogether.
Your first session is best described as a two-way interview. As I listen to your story and your narrative begins to take shape, we collaboratively determine two things:
Whether I am the right therapist for you, and
Whether this therapeutic relationship is the right fit for both of us.
If we decide to move forward together, identifying your goals becomes your first assignment. This process allows me to better understand how you think, how you interpret challenges, and how barriers such as stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship dynamics show up for you. From there, we focus on one goal at a time.
I see myself as your coach, teammate, and cheerleader!
Whether you are just beginning therapy or have been on this journey for some time, I invite you to plant that seed—and see just how beautifully you grow.

I truly saw the need for more mental health professionals in my community when I lost my father in 2006. Since that day, I began my journey of understanding the mind and how it works. We go through many major life transitions such as breakups, divorce, having children, new professions, loss of income, moving, pandemic stress and more. Most do not realize just how traumatic these seemingly “normal” events are to us at times.
I am here to help you if you feel overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, angry or confused concerning anything that has been thrown at you in your life. If you feel that what you are dealing with is too much to handle on your own, please reach out to me. We cannot stop this cycle of numbing or ignoring mental health issues in our world if we do not start within.
As a mental health advocate, I am here for you. I have seen the impact of a lack of relatable and accessible mental health programs and providers. I am here to be the bridge and get you the solutions, support, and guidance you need.
Hi there! I’m Ayana, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with an MSW degree. As a Christian therapist, I specialize in helping Black and African-American women who are struggling with anxiety, depression, anger management, life transitions, spirituality, and stress.

I use a combination approach that includes mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused, and person-centered therapies. These techniques help with grounding and appreciating the present moment while identifying belief patterns that are a hindrance. My services are offered on an easily accessible virtual platform, making it convenient for you to receive the support you need from the comfort of your own space.

Welcome to Dr. Mitchell’s Safe and Brave Space
I began my career in social services in 1995, working with children, youth, and families often labeled as “at-risk”—many of whom were impacted by substance use, poverty, child abuse, and neglect. Over time, my commitment to equity and justice led me to the field of social work, where I continue to center the person-in-environment perspective and actively support antiracist policies, ideas, and actions.
This work is grounded in an acknowledgment that we live and practice on the stolen lands of Indigenous peoples, and that much of the wealth and infrastructure of this nation was built through the unpaid labor and enduring suffering of enslaved Africans. I honor these histories and their ongoing impact as part of my commitment to justice, healing, and collective liberation.
I am deeply committed to self-awareness and reflective practice, both personally and with those I serve. I walk alongside clients on a healing journey rooted in self-care, resilience, and transformation.
I integrate narrative therapy and other evidence-informed approaches through the lens of intersectionality to remain fully person-centered. My practice pays particular attention to the impacts of trauma and race-based stress on one’s inner world. As appropriate, I incorporate Feminist Theory, Queer Theory, and Liberation Psychology to support healing that honors identity, lived experience, and systemic context.
I welcome all who value peace, healing, and justice to join me in this space—to try, to grow, and to be.

I love working with individuals with a diverse background. While I address a host of concerns as it pertains to mental health, my specialties include mood disorders, anxiety, relational issues, life transitions, and high conflict parenting. Also, I am LGBT friendly.

I love partnering with people on their journey to greatness. I use a strengths-based approach to help my clients see the choices that are always at their disposal to unlearn past harmful messaging or combat unrelenting present symptoms. As a Black woman, I always integrate the importance of diversity. Playing small to blend in doesn't serve anyone. Whether we're different based on external or internal attributes, we all need to embrace our beautiful and different qualities so that we can live an authentic life.
My work also focuses on boundaries, challenging thoughts, and improving communication skills. I integrate role plays, affirmations, accountability, and direct introspection exercises to aid clients in quieting the noise of societal norms to embrace their true joy. All sessions are client-focused, I don't come with my own agenda. I'm excited to help you live life with confidence on your own terms. I look forward to working with you.

My approach is compassionate, honest, and collaborative. It can be difficult to hear what needs to be said. I am the kind of therapist who is going to say those things. Your therapist is not meant to be your friend, which can be difficult to understand sometimes. We will navigate difficult things together.
I believe therapy should be more than just talking about problems... it should create lasting change. Together, we're going to build on your strengths, challenge unhelpful patterns, and help you work toward making your life feel more fulfilling, more aligned with what matters most to you, and more capable of addressing the challenges you encounter. Outside of work, I'm a laid-back person who spends a lot of time reading and playing with my dog.

I'm now considering expanding my practice to a hybrid practice which will include seeing clients both remotely and in my office. Therapy begins with me getting to know you and for you to feel comfortable with me. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment because therapy works when we have a positive connection which I hope we will have.
Is your anxiety stopping you from shifting into solution mode? Is your "bark back" anger making your relationships worse instead of better? Is your depressive energy stopping you from even doing the fun stuff? Congrats. You being here, means you’re half way outta there. You don’t have to go through life’s difficult moments alone.
l’ve been a Licensed Psychotherapist since 1997, promoted through community mental health, to in and outpatient treatment facilities for impaired physicians, before opening my Private practice. Providing career aptitude battery's and mediation for college kids and C-level team building, showed me that peak performance training can help anyone at any stage. When motherhood transitioned me from my Private practice I continued bringing families and opposing parties together in their new real estate chapter's. I’ve enjoyed helping others at an even deeper level again through the supportive and encouraging therapeutic relationship.
